[DEL]where to start? where is the list of pokemon to choose from?.....what is the theme?...format to follow?

if Gardevoir, Kirlia and Ralts is avalable...i would like to reserve them....[/DEL]

PS: i'm nowhere an artis...so i can;t draw.

sorry i didn;t saw that thread....anyway here is my entry.

Name: Gardevoir EX
Type: [Psychic]
Evolution: Stage 2 (evole from Kirlia)
HP: 160

Picture: Gardevoir dancing in a flower garden near a port. Couple of Pidgeot flying in the sky, there is some butterfree and Bellosom dancing near by.

Poke Body: Psychic Aid
-As long as there is a [Psychic] basic energy attach to [Gardevoir EX], the retreat cost for [Gardevoir EX], [Gardevoir], [Kirlia] and [Ralts] is now 0.

Attack 1: [Psychic][Colorless] Psychic Recharge 10
- For each [Ralts], [Kirlia], [Gardevoir] and [Gardevoir Ex] you have in play, search an Energy Card from your deck, show it to your opponent and put it into your hand. During your next turn [Gardevoir Ex] cannot use [Psychic Recharge]

Attack 2: [Psychic][Psychic][Colorless] Energy Bomb 60+
-You may discard all the energy card attach to [Gardevoir Ex], if you do this attack does 60 plus 50 more damage and this attack is not a affected by resistance.

Weakness: [Pyschic][Grass]
Resistance: [Fighting][Psychic]
Retreat Cost: [Colorless][Colorless][Colorless]
Flavor Text: This pokemon growth depend on its bond with its trainer Lv.100 #282

Strategy: Well there is not much to combo with in here, unless with Gardevoir in Power Keepers.....if you have a nice strategy for this card...speck up, i'll add it in....

this is my entry

Venasaur ex
(G)
150 HP
Stage 2 Card
Evolves from Ivysaur
Place Venasaur ex on the stage 1 card

Art:
In a dark forest with only a few beams of light shining down, with several Vileplume Bulbs visable. In the center of the picture there is a Venasaur, standing with it's chin up high, similar to a frog. it has a unfriendly demeanor. There are also dark purple spores coming from the flower on its back.

Pokepower: Endeavor Spore
Once during your turn (before you attack) if Venasaur ex is your active pokemon and has 50 or less HP remaining, you may place 3 damage counters on one of your opponent's pokemon. (you can't use this power if Venasaur ex is affected by a special condition)

(G)(C) Acid Pollen 20
The defending pokemon is now Burned and Poisoned

(G)(G)(G)(C) Frenzy Plant 120
Venasaur ex can't use any of its attacks during your next turn

Weakness: (R)(P)
Resistance: (W)(G)
Retreat Cost: (C)(C)(C)
'
Strategy: DX-DF
Combos: Just the combos for everything, Nidoqueen and Milotic, although it can work well with Dragonite ex "d". But the best deck that I can think of is Altaria ex "d" and Switches/Warp Points/Warp Energy
Lone Metagame: It has two horrible weaknesses in this metagame, but if your opponent can't ko it, then they activate it's power. Frenzy Plant can easily disarm any non-pokemon ex, so have a switch ready.
True Metagame: Altaria Combo; With the Altaria combo, Venasaur can build up to Frenzy plant quickly, and by swarming with Switches and Altarias, this becomes deadly quickly.
Bandoom: (I've never faced bandoom) it would be a horrible matchup for duel weaknesses and the downfall of switch, there would be a advantage too, for the fact that Bannette cannot kill for a while/ 20-80
Raieggs: Powers about! this hurts, but nowhere near how much bandoom hurts. with the fact that Raieggs cannot do more than 90 damage per turn, Venasaur can give them a taste of their own medicine. Plus Frenzy Plant, switch combos will easily destroy Raieggs/ 70/30
Ttar ex: Ttar is easily conquered by Venasaur, It's mostly about who gets up first though/ 60/40

Comments: I thought that (G) Resistance was a good choice since Poison = Regular, Bug= Regular, Grass= .25 in the Video Games. The strategy is weak, but I'm not that kind of guy so there.

Umm... Metagross I guess... Will edit it onto this post.

Metagross ex (Lvl.68) 130HP [M]

Stage 2 Pokémon (Evolves from Metang or Metang EX, put Metagross EX on the Stage 1 Pokémon.)
When Pokémon-ex is Knocked Out your opponent takes 2 prize cards.

Picture: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/kazerima/Metagross.jpg

PokéBody: Psychic Link.
Whenever an attack does damage to one of your Benched Pokémon, you may have that attack do damage to Metagross ex instead. This PokéBody can't be used if that attack would Knock Out Metagross ex.

[M][M][M] Heavy Metal Crash 30+
Flip a coin for each damage counter on Metagross ex. This attack does 20 more damage for each heads. Metagross ex does 10 damage to itself for each tails.

Weakness: [R][F]
Resistance: [G][P]-30
Retreat Cost: [C][C][C]

Flavor Text: Metagross has four brains, possessing greater intelligence than a super computer. It can become airborne despite its large weight by lifting itself with telekinetic powers.

Strategy: (Anything you guys can come up with in addition to what I already have, please tell me. I don't play very often anymore..)
Kind of a counter for all those bench damage decks I suppose, not that there are many out there. You could also combine it with some Pokémon that do damage to your own bench with Earthquake and the like.

Comments:
I really wanted to make another card like the old Slowbro and Alakazam cards along with an attack that could still do some damage. The weaknesses are because the most common moves used to dispatch Metagross in the games are Flamethrower/Fire blast and Earthquake. The resistances are [G] because steel is immune to poison and resistant to grass as well as bug. The resistance [P] also, because both Steel and Psychic are resistant to Psychic Pokémon.

Aggron ex
Metal
Stage 2 - Evolves from Lairon
150 HP

Picture: In the center, Aggron, with mean, angry, red eyes, is on a rampage, tearing down trees and causing an earthquake. At the bottom, the earth is splitting apart and various baby POkemon are running to safety. On the horizon line, a volcano has erupted and more fire Pokemon are running off into the distance.

:pbody: - Rampage
At the beginning of either player's turn (yours or your opponent's), after that player draws a card, discard the bottom card on that player's deck.

Metal Crash - [M][M][M] - 70+
Discard an Energy attached to Aggron ex. Discard the top card of each player's deck, this attack does 70 damage plus 20 more damage for each trainer discarded in this way.

Pull Away - [M][M][C][C] - 90
If your opponent has more than 5 or more cards in his or her hand, look at his or her hand and discard a number of cards until your opponent has 4 cards left in his or her hand.

Weakness - :fire: :fighting:
Resistance - :grass: :colorless
Retreat Cost - :colorless :colorless :colorless :colorless

Flavor Text - Aggron commonly live in the mountains, and build up anger until they go on a Rampage, destroying anything in sight most scientists are still clueless as to why this occurs.

Strategy - Wow. Finally a viable mill card? Yes, Rampage, Aggron's PokeBody does stack, so you could be milling up to 5 cards a turn with uber setup...
In DP Format- Play this with Doisadons (Stage 2, when put into play discards the top 3 cards off opponent's deck), Nidoqueen, and multiple Holon Circle, TM01, and other stalling cards (maybe something with Double Bubble?). And GOGOGO, MILLMILLMILL, yes, you win by deckout, by milling those cards with Rampage and Metal Crash.
In DX-On Format- PLay it with Nidoqueen and Jirachi DX to setup quickly, get an Aggron up and start stalling, you might opt to include Celebi to get any cards you discarded back into play or to get TM01 and Holon Circles back, maybe Pidgeot POP2 to cycle Celebi and keep a healthy deck. Definately use multiple transcievers and farmers to cycle cards back in so your opponent decks out first, and maybe use some POR, too.

Oh, and go Team Blue

Beedrill ex for me

*puts on oppressive dictator hat*

Just because the word originality hasn't been specifically mentioned in the scoring system doesn't give you the right to all use attacks copied word for word off of existing Pokémon. I'd like to see each card to have at least 60% original mechanics.

hmm....i hope i didn;t put anything from existing pokemon

Ewww... Gardy is ugly, I'll fix it up later, but how is it resistant to Fire?

NOTE: Remember Delta Species only influences TYPE, not Weakness/Resistance.

Actually, on second thought, I prefer Tyranitar ex.

Tyranitar ex
Stage 2 [D] Pokémon
Evolves from Pupitar
150 HP
Pokémon-ex Rule: When Pokémon-ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 prize cards instead of 1

(Poké-POWER)- Tail Sweep
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may discard an Energy card that provides 2 or more Energies attached to one of your Pokémon. If you do, look at your opponent's hand, choose two cards there, and discard them. Afterwards, your opponent may return one of her Benched Pokémon and it and all cards attached to it to his or her hand. You can't use this power if Tyranitar ex is affected by a Special Condition.

[D][C] Mountain Bomber
Discard up to 10 cards from the top of your deck. Choose one of your opponent's Benched Pokémon and put one damage counter on it for each card discarded in this way.

[D][D][C] Roar Blast 80
If the Defending Pokémon was Knocked Out by this attack, shuffle it and all cards attached to it into your opponent's deck instead of discarding them.

Flavor Text: Tyranitar's body can't be harmed by any attack, so it's always ready to fight in battles with other Pokemon.

Weakness[G][F]
Resistance[P][R]
Retreat Cost[C][C][C][C]

Picture: A Tyranitar is seen with its head pointed up. The background is cloudy, with a few sparks of lightning here and there. The Tyranitar has its arms at its side, slightly pointed up. The ground is mainly a volcano spewing volcanic ash into the air. The Tyranitar takes up about 40% of the picture at the right, and the volcano in the back ground is in the middle-left. Also, there are trees behind T-Tar.

Strategy: This Tyranitar is difficult to think of strategies for, mainly because you can't use many carsd that thin the deck with him due to Mountain Bomber. The Holon Engine with 2-3 Holon Farmers could could to keep his damage high while you Farmer back the cards that were discarded due to his attack. Also, Tail Sweep can be used to great affectiveness with Pokemon that are badly damaged and you can discard Holon's Castforms/DRE's/or Scrambles that are about to lose their effect, then control your opponent. You could use him as tech in a Tyranitar d/Mantine variant to give him a good way to power up and snipe at your opponent's bench. The deck already uses Castforms as well, so in a pinch his power can be useful as well. Lastly, the Roar Blast is mainly for Pokemon like Nidoqueen(who benefits from having Pokes in the discard). Roar Blast isn't supposed to be what you mainly use, just a backup.

BTW, if anyone can think of a better Resistance, LMK.
