Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

North Texas: 2009-2010 City Championships

Alright everyone.. since Shane Shanghaied January 2 and the grumblings of not being able to attend the two LARGEST Cities this year, I got a hold of Craig and we moved the HORNED FROG Cities to THIS SATURDAY!!!

Sorry Cookie, find your Saturday players some-wheres else!

So Come one and all and give Adrian and Christine something to Rule on!!!

Don't forget, we will have the drawing and give aways so wear something Lucky as I am adding to the pot!!

Fish

Hopefully Christine doesn't play that annoying Gliscor lock deck again...it took some thinking to beat that deck, lol. As for Adrian...I would've liked to play him in the finals instead of that Machamp deck...kinda one sided due to the fact that I was playing LuxApe. I was surprised how long I lasted and almost won. Would've been nice to win my first CC.

Also...Billy Kettler...thanks for a great match...I was thinking about conceding before we started, since it was a tough matchup and because I was way too drained and tired...I wanted to go home, lol.

See you guys there on Saturday.

I think Fish meant that Adrian and Christine are Judging.

Cookie still has Sunday for you Travelers out there!!

Cookie... make sure she gets you the Ole 96er! :thumb:

See everyone Saturday!!

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Is it the usual: Registration and Start times? Like 11 for Registration?

Good Question!

Registration will start at 10:30am and close at 11:45am. Round 1 will start at 12pm! Registration will start outside of the Store Front! If you would like to Pre-Reg, feel free by sending me a PM. I will do it like Watauga. You will be entered, but you MUST verify on the Sign-Up Sheets by writing your POP ID and DOB next to your Pre-written Name!

Thanks everyone for making this a quick turn around!!

Seeing if this week's trip is feasible. I've had to substitute out my LL position the last two weeks to hit up a couple of these. IDK if I can squeeze another week out of my friend, lol.

Want to increase your odds of getting that Giratina Hat, Binder or one of those PokeBall Playmats??

Bring an Unwrapped NEW toy this Saturday to Y2K and earn BONUS Tickets for the Drawing!! All toys donated, will be taken to the Public Library for the Angel Tree!!

Thanks to Billy Bones for such a Wonderful and Generous Idea!!

Would it be wrong to ask what the hat looks like? Price limit for unopened gifts?

Ok Guys and Gals... I am putting a minimum of $5 on the Extra Tickets. This allows for no cheating of the system and giving a base! Some have PMed me mentioning they were only going to the Dollar Tree and buying a Toy  Come on Pokemon People... it is the price of a Pack of Cards but it means the World to kids that get nothing on Christmas! Sometimes it is from the loss of a Parent, other times it is from an illness that the family had to deal with! For some, this is the only present they will receive. So due it from the Heart!

Yes, it would be wrong... it is the Christmas Spirit... not the.. well, if it is something I like Spirit! Also, there is no limit on giving!! For Each item brought you will earn a an extra Ticket! Please, no open style dolls or stuffed animals (without packages) as this is difficult for the libraries to maintain and keep clean! Good example, Kara and I found some inexpensive board games (about $5-$10) that are perfect and also some Hot Wheels (usually around $1) that are great for kids!!

Remember, you don't have to do it... it is from the Heart for those that are less fortunate than most!

For Example, we just had a family in my Complex lose everything because of the Neighbor micro-waving aluminum foil. It sparked and caught the cabinetry on fire and then it spread through the building! They lost everything... we had a drive for them here and basically helped rebuild and replace what they had lost due to another's mistake.

Give to GIVE... not to get!
