Congratulations to Ground Zero Comics for a successful Tyler City Tournament.

Proud congratulations to Jessica for winning Juniors. It was less than six months ago that she first walked into League with her Paretnts.

Congratulations and thanks to Josh for winning Masters. Made the 3 hour ride home a little quicker.

I WAS SCHOOLED!!! "Mystery Judge", a most pleasent surprise. Welcome back Danny.

I didn't have a Robby kinda day, but it was fun to be in Tyler... an hour an thirty minutes away.

Some good pictures, I like looking at pictures but I got a complaint. What's up with those UGLY Magic the Gathering signs in the back ground? Looking at the pictures I never saw one Pokemon poster or anything Pokemon, lol. Heck, I even saw Spiderman on the ceiling. I know it's not your fault.

Someone tell the owner of that store to show some love to Pokemon. Put up some Pokemon posters, something.

And to all the Dallas players, don't come down here wearing those stanky bandanas. For fun, I might get my players to wear bandanas just to mock you, lol.

I don't feel bad I wasn't in Tyler, I was at a mountain man rendezvous. I like camping.

It was great to see and visit witht the Dallas / Ft. Worth players this weekend. The players that came in Friday, actually left Friday night to play in Tyler, then a few came back down for Sunday's event. Wow, didication to the game. At least Dale made the trip worth it by beating Austin 3 times (2 in Swiss, one in final 2), winning both tournaments. Good job Dale. You're one player Austin doesn't mind losing to because he knows you're a top player.

And to Dana & Adrian, I got two words for you.

Thank you to all of the Texas and Oklahoma Pokemon players that attended MP Birch's "2008-2009 City Championships"!!! If no one noticed our attendance was like "WAY-UP" from last year. We had 322-players for the six City Championships this year. Starting off with "Dallas" and finishing with "Tyler"!!!

But, do not go into Pokemon shock!!! Our "City Championships" are not over!!! As this Sunday, January 11th, we will close out the "2008-2009 City Championship" season in Garland. Professor Spotter has promised that this will be the largest City Championship in North Texas!!! MP Birch will be in "da~house' and taking home "DA~GOLD"!!! :lol::lol:

We will be closing out this thread and heading over to the "GARLAND~CITY CHAMPIONSHIP" thread. Everyone needs to be in attendance for this one!!! :biggrin::cool::eek:

GARLAND, TEXAS will be the place to be this weekend.​

  • I stopped in at Comic Book Craze yesterday to make sure Josh and the gang were up to speed on our plans. We have guaranteed seating for 80, and a contingency plan in case that's not enough.
  • I made out the door prize list today. Last count, we're giving away 41 door prizes. That means if we fill our guaranteed seating, over half of the attendees will walk away with a door prize.

With the City Championships attendance results as of RIGHT NOW, Dallas leads the Texas CCs with 68 players.​

I WANT TO CRUSH THIS ATTENDANCE RECORD.​

The store is ready. The staff is ready. I AM READY. The only question that remains is. . . .​
