I really hope that people bring a ton of collection cards to trade to me :biggrin: the open gaming room will be sweeeet for trading and playing. Maybe I can finally finish my gold star collection :wink:

will there be any side events and vendors?
We will have TONS of side events including a big video game practice tournament on Saturday, League play where you win stuff for playing fun games between rounds of the main events, TCG pick up tournaments on Sunday including a Noble Victories booster draft and many, many other fun things.
We will also have a FREE RAFFLE on Saturday for the following:
- Nintendo 3DS
- EV/IV Trained Pokemon
- 550 TCGO Code Cards
- World Championship Items Package
- ... and whatever else we can dig up!!!
We will have the Pokemon store open on Saturday with a HUGE selection of hard to find Pokemon merchandise that momma_june has collected from the four corners of the Pokemon world. We will not have singles at this event, but we'll have booster packs and theme decks at GREAT prices.
I'll try to start posting more detailed side event information in the first post in this thread soon.

AWESOME!!!!!! I cant wait to go!!! Hopefully I can dig up enough money for all that stuff! Im gonna enter the ds tournament to get more tickets this time!! Also, if I bring a friend, do we both get an extra ticket like last time?

TWO DAYS of the BIGGEST Pokemon party the Northwest has ever seen.
I do want to point out that money shouldn't be a factor keeping anyone from attending at least one day of this great event. While you do have to get yourself to the event and feed yourself, the cost of most all the activities, including the TCG Championships and Video Game Championships is FREE! That includes raffle entries, League giveaways and many side events, with the exception of the booster drafts where you get cards to keep.

i would like to point out that i am PCSing (moving) from fort riley kansas, to fort lewis washington while also relocating my family from phoenix, arizona to fort lewis as well. i also need to find housing within a 10 day PTDY period and need to throw down deposits for rent/utilities.
i originally in processed to ft riley about 2 weeks ago. come to find out that my EFMP daughter did not have the necessary educational needs, so they decided to relocate me to a different state altogether. i had to throw down over 500$ on hotel expenses and i only receive 360$ back. i then have to pay for gas upfront for the 1800 mile trip from riley-> ft lewis. i then have to worry about housing. i am due to sign into ft lewis, wa oct 31 while my orders were cut oct 20. i have to out process by the 26 and be in WA on the 30th. time is a great factor here and i have a lot of money i need to save up.
so i wanna say that yes. money is a factor keeping me from attending this event.

If I made it sound like I didn't think you had valid reasons for not attending please accept my apology. I was merely using your post as an opportunity to point out what a great value Pokemon events like these are for others who read the thread. I was not trying to refute your reasons for not attending. I hope to see you at a future event once you get moved and settled in.
