Today was THE day... in America. Thursday is THE day in Europe. Don't any of you dare enjoy it 'til I get my copy.
 
WELL...Sorry but I just got back from a Halo 2 Party with Shukuen Shinobi and Ron13 ^^; we had a blast playing Multi Player 3 way and then Champain. It's great. Thanks Shinobi for a great party and I hope you and Ron13 like the shirts I made for it. XD
 
The shirts were neato, but I doubt anyone here actually cares.
Same with the party, it was fun, but no one cares, they wanna know about the game, since Naruto up there already explained it, I won't waste my typing skills repreating him. I'll just agree, say it was awesome and get with the explaining. ^^

ANYHOW, It's completely awesome, living up to my expectations and beyond. I'll let everyone discover the beauty on their own.

Halo 2 is the only game I have ever desperatly waited for, and it's worth every minute of wait. Hope to see everyone on Live!

Unfortunately I don't have Live, but that didn't stop Halo 1 racking up the most hours in the 'Box.

The Campaign mode is terrific. I haven't finished it yet - I could have, but I never pass games right away, I spent all that money on it after all. I'm at the part where... um, how to say this without spoiling anything... well I just extended a bridge over to a pair of Wraith tanks. It's been cool so far. Good plot. Terrific set pieces; that last bit in the New Mombassa was fantastic. I knew they changed the weapon balance a little. It's a shame the pistol now sucks, but who'd have thought the Needler would be so damn cool?

Anyhow, that's why i haven't been online for the last few nights.

I've been playing H2 off and on since the day it was released (had a limited edition copy on hold for the past few months (first in line too thanks to some friends)). Aside from life work and online work, that's pretty much all I do right now.
 
well i play it at my friends house i think it isnt better in some areas like when you do warthog wars and how the rocket launcher is heat seekin which is ok. I still think halo is better in some areas but the graphics on 2 are so much better. I have been playing halo for a while becuase of the land partys we have around the area. I also think they nerfed the needler and made the sniper rifle weaker.
 
The Sniper Rifle does seem weaker. And I'm not sure i like the lock-on rockets either, actually hitting a target in the last game got you uber-kudos. Not so now. And besides, the Banshee can still dodge them, now that it has stunt moves. Which are cool by themselves. And yeah, the Warthog is much less of a blast to bomb around in in multiplayer, although it does add an extra worry in Campaign. That part on the beach just before th New Mombassa tunnel? With ghosts zooming around and a Phantom raining death in and around a Covenant outpost full of grenade-happy Grunts and Elites? Fantastic.
The new Covenant weapons are a mixed bunch. I really like their sniper rifle. It's got good range and doesn't need to be reloaded, balanced by a slightly less powerful shot (three inaccurate hits on an elite) and an unrecgargable battery. The Carbine is also really good, a combo sniper gun and rifle.

My personal view, is that it looks to be one of, if not, THE BEST, game to be released in 2004.
Graphics are superb, and gameplay seems to be brilliant.
