You've also touted the merits of the flexibility that the tilt sensing Sixaxis offers, yet it's basically a weaker form of what the Wii offers. So basically it's destined to die horribly. Way to contradict yourself...

i was only talking about consoles, so handhelds were'nt included. and the NES, i'm 14, i haven't actually seen one, so i can't comment

and for god sake I'M NOT BIAS! i believe that PS3 is good, as i've sed before, PS3 dosn't have a cat in ****'s chance of winning any war, except hardcore system exclusive console of the year, if there is such thing.

all through the years, nintendo was out matched:
SNES - mega drive - neo geo= mega drive is the best easily You're gonna need more of an argument here
n64 - playstation - dreamcast= playstation anihalated with tomb raider, crash, gex, crock and tekken
game cube - playstation 2 - xbox= playstation 2 is easily better, though xbox was alright-ish
wii - xbox 360 - playstation 3= played x360 and wii, my mate knows someone with a PS3, it rocks!!! Wii lost already? Give me a break...

Wii and Xbox can duke it out but when Wii catches up it'll win.

And the lineups this year:
Wii: Brawl, Galaxy, Corruption
360: Halo, what else.
PS3: FFXIII (though it'll sell so many it won't matter)

I'd be suprised if FFXIII made it out this year. Unless there has been some confirmation or hint that it will be that I missed out on.
 
I hate it when people say one video game company is bad and no one gives good reasons why.

just because you may not like them, there are other genre's of games that will make the PS3 a competitor, metal gear 4 has had major hype throughout japan, ressistance looks awsome, warhawk, a wipeout variant, will give me something to do if i get bored. Burnout burnout burnout......... everyone loves burnout. and for the whole "pick up and play thing, tekken 6 does it for me, these are the best fighting games by miles. good if you play hardcore (10 hit combo anyone) and if you just want to mess around with mates.

my arguments:
mario is kk, FF is repetetive, but sonic the hedgehog is timeless
n64 had goldeneye, mario kart and mario 64. playstation had metal gear, tomb raider, crash bandicoot, teken, FF VII/VIII/IX and probably others i missed out.
PS2, i really shouldn't have to comment on this, PS2 had all but ninja gaidan, cube had uhh, little disks.
I can't comment on these last ones, havn't played one yet, though zack the geek, i didn't say wii already lost. i mean, even came cube stayed for like 6 months or so lololololololooloololololololololol
 
You're starting to become a hypocrite because I heard a lot of Europeans hate Sony for getting the PS3 in March, yet you think it's going to be the best? You think you state your opinions as facts, eh? Well you shouldn't ridicule one system for stupid reasons. I give better explanations as to why IMO PS3 is trash, rather than stating as a fact.
 
Well they must be wanted if people are lining up for them still.

They should make Parrappa the rappa for PS3

Chris, those versions were obsolete.
 
Someone here absolutely no idea how to play hardcore tekken. 10 hit combos are a joke because you know exactly where each hit is going to land. You have to be a complete noob to actually eat one.

Burnout is on 360 too and Tekken 6 is heavily rumoured to be heading to 360, too.

Sonic the Hedgehog, by your own admission has sucked since Sega stopped making hardware. You talked about this yourself earlier. Sonic 360 is a horrendously bad game.

Also, GameCube stayed for much more than 6 months. It still sells now. It's the third place console but it held almost dead even with Xbox for a very long time, at least until Zelda TP started getting pushed back.

Well, it was under the "outmatched" title. What was I to think?

There's just more bias showing up if you think all SNES has was Mario and FF. Genesis, I assume, had more going for it than Sonic, as well. Basically, a poorly made comparison.
 
sorry, i did kinda over exagurate (sp?) the gamecube's loss. MP, as good as people claim it to be, I could never really get into it. Too much backtracking imo.
Anyway, Tales of Symphonia was incredibly good (clocked in at 79:52 playing time, completeing all sidequests), but with the release of all the other Tales games has kinda diminished its charm, but i will always remember it as the rebirth of a good franchise.

Resident Evil 4 was crazy good, practicly kept the system alive for a few months.
Smash Bros melee is one of my favorite games, but when brawl comes out, i wont be going back to playing melee, but i did with 64.

Anyway, lolganium, stop giving Proffesor Chris crap for no reason, we can argue intelligently here you know.
 
Sony gave a giant screw you to European players when they said the PS3 isn't hitting till march and they cut off all the imports. They really love their customers overseas.
