Lame, you don't even remember me. I'm currently ranked 8th in Masters on Go Pokemon. I was the guy you were calling gardevoir at the last nats as i used G&G last year and gardyEX the year before and top cutted both times.

Devo your damaged Chomp, Bring down with gardylvlx game over. I used claydol/TV reporter/telepass to draw into it and still the fossil was in the last 3 cards of the deck....:frown:

I can't remember exactly wether it was a damaged chomp or it's stage 1 but the situation was definately a devo KO and win for me, either way it was a risky tech and not running dugtrio proved my downfall in the top cut against a miracle top decking empoleon.

I'll be at Manchester this weekend. I've been absolutely out of the game recently with work and whatnot, but when Luke asked me if he could stay at mine tonight before the Manchester States I couldn't say no! Apparently Karl is coming too, but I'm not sure I know him. They'd best show up soon, innit.

P.S. My little brothers entering for seniors, he's been out of the game for a bit but he'll be back to winning events like days gone by.

Yeah, it was that Karl. Shows how out of touch I am with the game. Anyway...
I realised the night before, after I spent all night playtesting with Luke and Karl that I've lost my passion for the game what with the changes in the new format and Kingdra being an arse and that. It's also too expensive. So I'm quitting, and started selling my cards at the tournament, with the intention of not entering. But Luke, Nitish and Kylie wanted a top cut, which required one more entrant. So I was lent a deck and paid for, they got want they needed! Went 1-0 and then dropped because I found out that an old friend was in Manchester and seeing her now takes precedence over the game. At least I've gone unbeaten in competitive games this year, I suppose! Sort of.
Props to Rod for being a legend.

I played to make the numbers up to 16 in the masters. When I tell you that I took just one single prize in the first three rounds then you will probably understand that a tournament report would make for dull reading being full of misplays by myself.
R1 mesprit drops by my opponent block my setup and Palkia finishes me off. 0-1
R2 I eventually get setup and manage to Dark Palm my opponents threats away. In the end I'm able to take that one prize . Did I mention that I TOOK A PRIZE Woo Hoo LOL. 1-1
R3 My bench is clogged trying to get setup and though I can slow my opponent down I'm not able to take a prize. Three energy prized did not help, but my fate was sealed by a combination of misplays and not drawing into the warp points. 1-2
R4 I manage to get ectoplasm in play as a stadium and it slowly destroys my opponent. 2-2
