yeah, i thought of
Lugia EX
Umbreon EX
Swampert EX
Flygon EX
Rayquaza EX Delta
Sceptile EX
Politoad EX

I'm sure I missed some too ;p

Strangely, several of those didn't pop on the Pokepedia search I did for Pokemon-ex.

Also, specify the Flygon. One was amazing. The other was average at best.

To think there were even THREE Flygons...PK, DF and LM. The DF was by far the best but I have seen the LM one being used with some success too. The PK one was mostly a fun league deck as far as I've seen.

Well I mean, it's quite possible every ex will suck. But doesn't it make you uncomfortable that the existence of new ex's opens the door for Pokémon to make absurdly broken cards at any time?

Meh. Flygon ex d was a very good card ... but it needed serious support as an actual deck. You needed Flygon d for energy accel (note the PPC attack cost). It did a lot better with consistency support (Nidoqueen d). On top of all of that you didn't OHKO much. There were decks that were faster (Banette ex) or more consistent (MetaNite ... which could and did OHKO things).

My brother made a deck with that card that was AMAZING. It's too bad we didn't go to Nationals or Worlds that year. :( :( :(

Yeah, I still remember it. I played something similar at one smaller city, and it was really nice (but, your brothers, by far, was just astounding).

Flygon d ex wasn't broken. It was definitely really good, but, to say that it was broken is going pretty far (especially considering what we've been dealing with).

I have some seriously high hopes for what's to come, though. I honestly wasn't sure what Red Collection would be like, but, the re-release of an Admin type card does give me a lot of hope for what's to come.

At the time, it was one of the more efficient and stable attackers in the format. 150HP with no Weakness meant it was sticking for a while, and 3 for 80 plus spread was fun. Not to mention the Body which changed how games were played.

I actually think Flygon ex d was pretty overrated at the time and I played and won a Regionals in 2007 with R-Gon. Flygon d and Mew d were the real players in that deck.

Flygon Ex LM was the BEST Flygon ever printed. A friend of mine won states and regionals back to back with the deck. Flygon EX LM could stand on its on. The only support it really needed was Delcatty.

The best deck that I ever played consisted of Meganium Ex and Crawdaunt ex (with an assist from Delta Meganium, Delta Pinsir and Vaporeon * Boost energy and Delta Castform) Its ability to ake my opponent play with a small bench while I had a full one and to be able to heal my Pokemon and OHKO most anything with an assist from Boost energy That deck had an beat everything that year except for Metanite.

My most favorite deck I ever played was Crobat Ex and Bannete EX (with assists from Mew EX, Celebi EX and Delta Crobat) and tons of Warpoints and Warp Energy and Rockets secret machine that let you devlove and evolve your pokemon wit one form you deck. It was so fun to throw 3 or 4 free damage on my opponents poekmon on thier bench with powers and then hit them for 60 with Delta Crobat for the Surprise KO.
That deck also dominated everything that year except for the most popular deck played LBS.

To everyone saying the old standard wasn't OHKOs, I retort with Rayquaza ex, ZRE, BLS, MetaNite, Gallade, stop me if you've heard any of these names before.

I think the important distinction was most of those decks required a little bit more work/setup/risk to score the endless OHKOs. ReshiBoar just needs a single stage 2 and a single basic to OHKO most of the format...

oh my gad, should I be scared? D:
I feel like a should be <.<
no evolutions, I dislike playing legendary pokemon :(
well, time to find a new favorite, the ice guy! :D
