Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

OREGON City Championships (and one in WA)

Served? I'd watch that mouth, buddy, the only reason you did moderately ok in the GBA tournament was because we had to leave. Still got beat by clint anyway, so, how exactly did team rocket get served? Oh, and, Kayhon, don't worry, we'll put a stalling rule in place, because that was simply ridiculous, boring your opponent into submission does NOT equal skill.
Uhhh...cuz had you gone to Target, you would've been able to stay for the whole tournament and still get a Wii on launch day.

Dude, never take insults seriously on the Gym. :nonono:

Also, I stalled because it's fun finding whole in the rules and abusing them to no end. Did you not think that there was a REASON why I was abusing a glitch in the rules? I've done it long before you started showing up, [ARRR!], and I plan on doing so for as long as I can. XD.

Oh, side note, I was counting on Spinach quitting the GBA tourney since he was 3-0 at the time of that match. XD. Me: "Well, since Metagross totally owns this team, I'll just stall for the win!" Chris's rules provision - in which he had us put our GBAs on the table and go play our TCG matches was simply brilliant, and totally countered my devious plan. XD

Anyway, the conclusion of this jumbled post is the following: I hope you now realize that you can't outright negate stalling by banning recovering attacks. Stalling's part of the game.

PS: Oh, and you Rocket guys were in the tourney?

*had no idea*

God, did Oregon lose all it's tcg players for random GBA players? I can't wait to see Shawn again.
Pretty much. I mean, Oregon's never really had much in the way of well-known, tournament-winning TCG players, except Shawn.

Edit: I was gonna leave, but then i saw Randomman's post....

The truth IS out there. ;) Honestly, how are you going to beat ANYTHING into me? What are we going to do?! POKEMON BATTLE! OH MAN GO PIKACHU!!!!

I stand there and let the pikachu hit me with thunder then say "Just as I thought you are pathetic I mean you are just a little spark well experience is experience go Flygon kill it"

"FLYGGGONN"

"pi-cck"

People sure are crazy. Yelling = ruins games? Go to any baseball game and say that. What's wrong with getting excited? Granted, I don't personally get into the yelling, but, lots of people do. If that's their bag, then cool, people are having fun.

Random-guy or whatever is just hogging for some easy attention. I thought it was my job to be the most offensive guy on here, but, apperantly someone wants to steal my shine.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

And lets see, regarding phazon's jibba-jabba regarding my gba tourneys, don't worry, stalling rules will be in place next time, since you messed the tourney up last time, apperantly on purpose. Funny, had I not so kindly loaned you a gameboy, you wouldn't have even been in the tournament. And, considering how respectful you are about it, I'll think twice about loaning you anything next time. Team Rocket wins every GBA tourney under the sun out here, so of course we were in it.

I find it silly how much work we put into arranging the gba tourneys and in return we don't get any real recignition for it. I can see why the PTO's in this area would feel discouraged when there's players running aorund badmouthing everything in sight. All you guys want is prizes, you want this, you want that, want want want, me me me, it's all selfish babble.

If you arn't going to come to the events, have fun, and contribute to the environment, then why do you bother coming at all?

I may not be able to beat some of you in a TCG game but in the areas of Fist Fight and Common Decency I could take scores of you kids on without breaking a sweat.

The prizes for the GBA tournament mostly come out of my pocket, as well as the supplies and labor put into them. If you can't respect that, then don't sign up for the tournaments.

One I hate all sports

Two well it seems that being offensive is the only way to get any thing done.

Three I contribute by having common sense and restraint.

Four I have great decks and though I don't like fighting my physical strength is a bit unnatural.

Five you can keep the GBA prizes they are nothing when you have the kind of collection I have.

In case you haven't noticed [R]visitor, Phazon lives to find loop holes in the rules and abuse them as much as he can. He'll find a way to drive us nuts in GBA, I can promise you that.

Common Decency fight? The Truth Is Out There.

That's fine, if he want's to try and play hardball at my tournaments, we'll see how far that goes. Some of us, I won't point fingers, concentrate on things such as winning tournaments, as opposed to sitting around trying to make them suck for other people for one's own personal amusement, but, who am I to judge what people do with their lives?

If he would rather do things his way, and, lol, continue not-winning GBA tournies, that really doesn't bother me, and, if people don't want prizes, they shouldn't complain when the PTO's stop providing extra prize support, now should they?

Oh wait, everyone went bananas when there were suddenly less prizes, hmm! Ungrateful players add nothing to the game but rolled eyes and headaches. But, again, if some people would rather do that then actually win a tournament for a change, hey, suits me just fine, i'm a big fan of winning things.

I really expected some thought provoking, or even challenging replies to the points i've raised, but, apperantly i'm dealing with children here.

CyberManetric EX, he can TRY to drive us nuts, but, that'll be real hard to do if he's not actually in the tournament. :-D

All I've seen is a lot of posts of people talking really loud, but saying nothing. All bark, no bite. A bunch of noise, but, really without any purpose. Blah blah blah, if you will. "Oh I hate Oregon's pto's because of wah wah wahhhh" and "Ooooh I don't need to respect people who run events because blah blah blah" but honestly, you kids have said nothing of any real meaning thus far.

OK, a few things here are MADLY incorrect.

1. I've never borrowed anything from you. I bring my own GBA, game and team to every tourney.

(For reference, I was dressed entirely in beige at the CC. I was also "dancing" to White and Nerdy with Clint and Keyhan.)

The guy who borrowed the GBA from you took around ten minutes to set up his team, then the battle took another ten. Since you expect each battle to take roughly 6-8 minutes, that means I am solely responsible for 2-4 minutes of delay. The guy I was playing against (who was not Spinach, just to get that out of the way) was responsible for eight minutes of delay (allowing approximately two minutes for team setup, since this was the first round). Also, I did come into the room around five minutes late, as I had no idea that the GBA tourney had started, so we can blame THAT ammount of time on a poorly done announcement as well as my own laziness in not bothering to ask you or Chris if the tourney had started.

I don't care if you blame me for stuff, but at least have the COMMON DECENCY (a skill you claim to be better than me at) to find out exactly who I am in RL and what I am to blame for.

2. I've been going to the Oregon GBA tournaments since the HL pre-release. I've won all but roughly five or seven of the 20-odd I've participated in. Almost all of those losses, including the two-three I've recently lost, can be attributed to me getting lucksac'd (Clint's Alakazam uses Thunderpunch! Critical Hit! Paralysis! Lugia is FULLY Paralyzed. XDDXDD *much laughing*). How many have you won? I take it quite a few, given the air of superiority you seem to carry about with you.

Also, if TR really wins every GBA tourney under the sun here, explain how you got second -- not first -- at the Portland JAA. While second is impressive enough, that's not the first place you claim to get every time. (Don't get me wrong, I respect your placing. Heck, I was unable to attend the JAA because of work, so I technically placed balow you there. XD) I believe you also failed to get first at the '06 Regionals -- as did I. In fact, you and I lost to the same guy. XD

3. You could whoop me in a fist-fight? Fantastic. I believe the title of "Most Offensive Guy Here" is yours, buddy. C'mon, find the COMMON DECENCY within you to accept that award.

4. Randomman is having fun. Fun is good. Remember, we must CRUSH Washington's SPAM-up-CC-threads record by spamming this one up! XD. Thus, randomman may open up as many cans of whatever he wants upon us. LOL.

5. As CMex said, I've always come to the GBA tourneys for one underlying reason: to exploit loopholes in the rules. Sure, I also have fun and usually place OK in the process, but I LOVE finding holes in the rules.

Funny story: Back when LM or whatever was about to come out, I looked at one of the flyers for the tourney and glanced upon the GBA rules -- which I then closely examined to find any possible loophole I could exploit, as Chris had already put a cap on attacks like Explosion and Recover thanks to me. Anyway, I saw that all such attacks were banned, except one: Milk Drink. Much snickering ensued. Next, I did the obvious thing: I raised THREE Miltanks, enlisted the help of two of by best friends, and set forth to be a total n00b abusing Milk Drink. It was AWESOME, and -- believe it or not -- everyone else thought it was hilarious.

My point is: Don't take everything seriously, dude. Let loose. Acting all serious and offended oon the Gym will get you nowhere......and angry. XD

...
...Wow....that was the first time I've had to stand up for myself in quite a long time. XD

Well, they said delay, so I instantly thought of the guy that took half the day to get his team ready, so, apologies for that. When I hear delay, trust me, that guy comes to mind.

Everything else I won't bother responding to in order to avoid the wrath of mods.

I don't know about you Phazon, but when I heard about you abusing Milk Drink, I immediatly worked on a team designed to take you down. I can't believe that my Dusclopes totally pwned your Miltank. Then again, it wasn't you battling.
Another tournament TR didn't win was the JAA finals in NYC. On the other hand, Team_Rocket_Prodigy was the only TR member who was in it. It was awesome to have a front row seat of watching him play in the semifinals.

Back on the CC's topic, I'm not going to Milwaukie next week. Too much going on here where I live.
