Although this has some great reprints, this set is seriously lacking something, I mean, ALL the EXs(So far) REALLY are bad...The best part of this set? Blaze/Delcatty(if Energy Draw) and Stevens

YUP.
Not that great of a set, but the reprints are wicked. Unfortunately a lot of the rares and holos look kinda Emeraldish.
BUT Blaze/Catty/Gardy/Lanturn/Magneton/Stevens/Wobby/others make it a set that I will be picking up (and since they are reprints the price will hopefully be decent)

Some cards from the set have potential. Definitely worth playtesting.

metagross ex
shiftry ex
absol ex
the *pokemon are all actually usable

slaking
blaziken
etc.

Slaking, metagross dx, memorry berry, holon wp, water energy... reversals to KO latis and stuff

...I have no comment to that...:nonono:
Anyway, this set really does hold some potential, especially with some of the EX's being released. Should be quite an interesting States...

It is the morning of the pre-release and we still dont know what all the cards do this is driving me insane

Patience young ones. Count down is about 12 hours before a full "spoiler" list is up somewhere. Plus I don't think there will anymore gamebreaking/Metagame cards from what we already have seen and heard of.

I think the set does have potential, even if it is only because of the reprints. But hay, you never know.

It's way to early to decide whether the set is good or bad. Cards aren't even out yet for us to playtest. Also, there hasn't been a premier tournament yet. I think that even after states it will be hard to decide whether it's a good set or not. We will only have month or 3 weeks to practice deck ideas vs. the Metagame, IMO that isn't enough. Then we have only three weekends of states, right? The first players will try out new decks. Second they will make a few fixes. Third they will try out those fixes to see if they worked or not.

The new stadiums are up. One makes Colorless do 10 less damage, and one gives water pokemon that aren't EX no weakness.
