Pokémon Kicks off Its McDonald’s Happy Meal Promotion in North America This Summer

I just hope that Pokemon will put information about Play! Pokemon events like League or the Championship Series in the toys. Organized Play really needs more exposure.

Wow...funny I was gonna say the same thing. I hardly eat food that's processed, so I'm gonna have to get creative.

No, Chipotle is not healthy for you regardless of what you put into it. One burrito has far too much sodium. 2600 mg compared to 1010 mg in a Big Mac (and the Big Mac is already ~50% of your Daily Value). Most of this sodium is in its meat. This is not even accounting for the extras that you mentioned which would push Chipotle burrito past a Big Mac in every way.

McDonald's burgers are seriously more healthy than even a basic Chipotle burrito. At least its negative nutrients would all be in "moderation". One really negative nutrient is faaaaar worse and would have a much more long term impact on your body.
 
out here in cali, just buying the toys is $2 at my local Mc D's =( I have 2 kids, one is a 4 year old who loves pokemon, the other is a 2 year old who doesn't care, but loves mc donalds nuggets. damn them for making me actually want to buy them happymeals for a month!! =p

Guy: Yes, I would like a Chicken Nugget Happy Meal please.
Cashier: Okay and what will you be having.
Guy: uh. . .

I'm sure glad a have a kid. I have no problem telling others I still play Pokemon but telling someone that I(with emphasis) want the happy meal seems like it would be an akward moment. Either way I hope they are new cards and not a reprint of pre-existing cards.
 
^It depends on the business. They come in happy meals, or most places offer that you can buy just the toy for $1-2.
 
um, if you don't want to be 'seen' buying a happy meal, hit the drive through instead of the lobby ;)

IDK bout anybody else, but a McD Happy Meal is enough food for me. I might not be a fan of their fries, but it's certainly better for you than getting a Value Meal...
 
Does McDonalds still do the Mighty Kid's Meal? It's been awhile since I went to a fast food restaurant to buy a kids meal just because of a Pokemon promotion. I think the last time was when Burger King did the Pokeballs with the original 150 pokemon... never did get Eevee...

and I admit it, I freaking LOVE mcdonald's hamburgers. And that strawberry lemonade...89 cents here in Kansas and only 270 calories. YUM!
 
Keep in mind that Alex2k is a wrestler - he isn't on some Jenny Craig diet. Therefore he can consume more calories than your average Joe, lol.

Interested to see what promos come in this thing! Hopefully one of the dozen or so should be good, viable cards, but I doubt it (as previously said).

I tried to pick some of the "cutsy" cards and then i could see Zoroark or Cincinno b/c Cincinno is cute and Zoroark was the stud of a movie, the reshiram/zekrom/victini are just cards that cards are easy to recognize and legendaries have been in MCD b/4 and the values on Reshi/Zek can't be much lower considering there are already 3 copies of them :p
