Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Pokemon GBA Tourney @ Worlds?

I don't think there should be alevel 5 round. There's NO STRATEGY involved. It would just be all out attacking to see who falls first.

question, in the double battle, lets say i have a wobbefet holding something and a pokemon with trick holding leftovers. would i be allowed to use trick on my own wobbefett thus making him hold leftovers?

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

o, and are you playing?if so there is no point in trying.

I have to bring up a VERY important fact about doing a lv. 5 tournament:

Anyhting with Seismic Toss will own! Nothing besides Blissey and maybe Snorlax have more than 100 HP at lv.5.

Point is, a Seismic Tosser will ohko EVERYTHING in a lv.5 tourney.

Uhhhhh Wrong for several reasons:

Snorlax, at level 5, has a max of 33 HP (and thats with 100 EVs and a 31 IV in HP).
Chansey, at level 5, has 42 HP (and thats with 100 EVs and a 31 IV in HP)

Seismic Toss deals Damage to a pokemon equal to the users lvl...In this case, level 5.

Where you got those Stats from I have no clue, but your way off.

Indeed, Seismic Toss is HORRIBLE in anything that isn't LV 100. 5 damage isn't going to help you at all. DRAGON RAGE is what you should be concerned about. 40 points of damage, right there. Start killing those Charmanders. :/

Time to start cramming in levels... At least I've got a level 100 Kyogre. :// ((Wow, one pokemon against six. So helpful. :[ At least there's always a level 5 round...))

i've done many level 5 battles in my group of rockets that play competatively weekly for several hours straight, that's where some of these ideas come from. Level 5 battles do have strategy to them, its just significantly more difficult.

As for tricking leftovers to wobbuffet, even though i've always loved that idea to get around the rules, i wont allow it cuz i know people will cry their eyes out over it.

Chances are i'll be in the tourney, depends on how many people show up, and that doesnt make it hopeless for everyone else.

Im glad to see people are finally interested, who all is confirmed to be interested and what prizes are you throwing into the pot?

I'm sorry about what I said in that original post. My mind was still set at lv. 100.

[R]Visitor,
I'm deffinately intrested and I'll be able to donate some Matser Balls.

hm sounds fishy.

AR for leveling up? What a joke! Sometimes I wish I could reveal my training secret to the world, and I probably will, soon.

As a matter of fact, I still have the Master Ball from TA's hide out. UN-CHEATED. I can donate that as a prize.

Yes, I use my AR for leveling up. I do all the breeding and EV training myself.

ok since there's no time to really set up and prepare for the crazy rules, we'll just do single elimination rounds with the following rules:

3 Pokemon vs. 3 Pokemon
Level 100 or below
Single Battles
No Same Hold Items
You can only have one of the "Banned" pokemon on your team. Those include:
Mewtwo, Mew, Ho-oh, Lugia, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Wobbufett
Wobbuffet can't hold Leftovers
Latios/Latias can't hold Soul Dew
If the match ends with Explosion, Selfdestruct, or Perish song, the user of the attack is disqualified. In other words, don't end the match with those moves!

Anyone who wants to do this just meet with me at worlds, I should most likely be dressed up as a Team Rocket Grunt of some form or another during each day, try to meet as early as possible, maybe i'll have fliers, who knows, kinda short notice. Just ask any team rocket looking dudes if they're the guy holding the tourney or whatever, hopefully we can get enough participants.

Saturday at Worlds we had two gameboy tourneys. Both had 16 people for each tourney.
They were in the gamecube room with the huge TV. The first tourney was a single battle, 6vs6 tourney with only one legendary per team allowed. The second tournament was JAA style with 15 min time limit instead of 8. Unfortunately the next day they were being a**holes and didn't even allow us to battle on the gamecubes. What happened is a vast majority of their memory cards got stolen on saturday. While I was there setting the tourney up I did not see anyone steal a memory card. I was the last to leave from the tourney players and still saw the memory cards there too. So whoever stole them probably waited until late and took a lot of them at a time.

It was lame that they automatically blamed the tournament players for the reason they lost their cards =/. It was more of their fault for not bolting down their Gamecubes and memory cards to begin with like they do at all the other Pokemon events. The strange thing is that they didn't even need memory cards for us to use the gamecubes to battle too. Yet they still didn't want to let us use them for that purpose. I even tried to play Pokemon box for 5 min to quickly transfer my Pokemon to my other game and the "pokemon" security guard raised bloody hell on that, it was ridiculous =/.
