Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Pokemon Incites Violence

What Tina meant was this: The students are in a "gifted" program, yet are using violent actions to resolve conflict, therefore they must not be that "gifted." Gifted kids would use words and reasoning to resolve conflict.

Depends what they are 'gifted' in. It might be music, or sport, or physical violence.

I thought *gifted* meant thooper thpecial.

They were probably yelling because they think that's their self-expression voice.

Furthermore, "assault with injury" from GRABBING someone? Really? I guess the assaulting youth's dad must have put raw, uncut MAN into an IV drip so his son could have a bone-crushing grip during his pointless argument phase.

One Of The Card's Attacks:

Pulled from an Austin, Texas police report:

But the police report fails to mention that they were fighting over the notorious LV X SHAMONU, which had just been played by the winner. As we all know, one of the seldom-used yet equally unknown attacks of the shamonu is the "Who's Card Is It" free for all. Anything goes. Winner gets the card, and the game. Loser forfeits any games he has previously played that day, is hauled away and later has to face his parents. Plus he (or she) gets suspended from Pokemon Organized Play for 3 hours, 38 minutes and 23 seconds, during which time there can be no cel phones, wifi, web, or restroom privileges. Most people get rid of this card. To own one is to truly be hexed. To actually see it in play is what is astounding. Reporters got it all wrong. They don't seem to understand how totally violent the sport of Pokemon truly is. It's like a reporter going to a horse race, what would one expect to see but a horse cross the finish line? Yep, it's that shamonu from the HYSTERICAL MEASURES SET. Nintendo should had better sense than to encourage this kind of behavior. The promo tin never sold, so they painted it over with Leafeons and the rest is history. If you're one of those lucky few who bought one of these on eBay from a seller who seemed to have an endless supply :thumb: they are now very rare indeed.
But for a game where people can be suspended for cussin and things:nonono:,
we should have similar behavior in disorganized play as organized play.

This is so true. Banning Pokemon Cards is the final obstacle to acheiving World Peace for children - it's not like they'd argue over anything else. Pokemon is the devil!

Of course, you already knew that. You were just making fun of the sentence structure. Well done. (that last little bit was sarcasm)

What they REALLY meant was yeah yeah yeah we're gifted, we're stayin in college and it devolved from MY POKEMANZ, LET ME SHOW YOU THEM! to THAT'S MY POKEMANZ! GIMME MY POKEMANZ!

Pokemon, it even makes the gifted act like little kids...wait...

/HEY THOSE ARE MINE! GIMME BACK MY CARDS!

On a side note, gifted isn't what you think it means. I know a lot of really dumb people that got into gifted schools/programs in my area. They're lowering their standards all the time D:
