Chapters 5 & 6
Since most of you have been so patient and loyal, I'm rewarding you with [DEL]2[/DEL] 3 new chapters. (doubleposted the third new chapter to bumb this thread)
Chapter 5 has some cameos by people who begged me to have a reappearance in my story. So, to my good friends (if any of you are even reading this) I decided to have a little character reunion in chapter 5. The next guest appearance from pokegym members (like Bullados or Lucario EX) probably won't be until chapter 9. Any feedback is welcomed.

Even though Chase, Vik, AJ, and Lucas were out on an adventure to save the world from so many wild pokemon, it was still Summer Vacation. They were still in Lincoln City enjoying themselves. It was about an hour later after the battle with Cole. Cory had left the group to buy himself lunch at the local seafood restaurant. Chase, Vik, AJ, and Lucas were going to a Motel 6 to meet up with Chase’s mom and the Juarez’s.
Lucas: “What do you think mom and Dad want with us this time?”
AJ: “They just want us to have fun. We’ve barely started our summer vacation.”
Chase: “That, and I’m sure they want some more family bonding before we head out of state.”
Vik: “At least your guys’ parents showed up. My parents live too far from here.”
Chase: “Your hometown not that far from here.” They soon approached the Motel 6 just less than a block away. Soon AJ spotted something. A flying figure that was landing in the beach behind the Motel. He had a sinking feeling that he’d seen that silhouette before.
Chase: “AJ, everything ok?”
AJ: “Yeah. I just thought I saw something.” They head into the motel’s lobby. Mrs. Fisher was the first one to greet the boys.
Mrs. Fisher: “Chase, I’m so glad that you and your friends are still in one piece.”
Chase: “Mom, please, we’ve only been gone for an hour and a half.” Soon the Juarez’s enter the lobby.
Mrs. Juarez: “Oh, it’s so to see that you two haven’t torn each other’s heads off yet.”
Lucas: “Why did you call us here mom?”
Mr. Juarez: “Well, we thought we have a little good luck party for you boys here at the beach. We’ve even managed to bring a few of your friends along. They’re waiting in the room.” AJ gave a slight shudder. The silhouette had already told him who was here. They head into the room and find Lucas’s friends Zach and Katie. That would explain the bird pokemon AJ saw. It was Zach’s.
Lucas: “Hey guys.”
Katie: “Lucas, why did you leave without telling us?”
Zach: “Yeah, you’re such a jerk to leave like that. We’re your best friends.”
AJ: “Hey mom, I thought you said you invited all of our friends, not just Lucas’s.” Unknown to AJ, one of his friends Aaron was waiting for him from behind the closet door.
Aaron: “Hey you, I’m here as well.”
Chase: “Aaron, what are you doing here? I thought you were going to Arizona.”
Aaron: “That’s next week, Chase. Geez, AJ’s amnesia must be rubbing off on ya.”
Chase: “With friends like you, who needs enemies?” The adults opened a luggage to reveal snorkelling gear, two kites, and buckets and shovels for building sand castles.
Mr. Juarez: “Alright, who’s up for some fun in the sun?” The older boys took the snorkelling gear. The younger kids took the kites and beach toys. Once out on the beach, the kids and teens left the pokeballs on the beach blanket, just in case they’d need them. Little did they know their fun was about to be interrupted. Watching them from far off using a pair of high tech binoculars was Shade, a Team Chaos Admin.
Shade: “Celebrate while you can, Chase. I’m about to shake things up here.” He took out his Chaos Driver, a device that was designed off of the pokeradar used in the Diamond and Pearl games. It was the same item Cole had used earlier that same day. He activated it and it started broadcasting a signal. Any wild pokemon that picked up this signal would begin attacking anything in its sight.
Shade: “We’re back Chase and better than ever. Darkrai!” Shade’s most layal pokemon, Darkrai appears next to him.
Shade: “Go and make sure everything goes according to plan, and make sure nobody knows you’re there.” Darkrai disappears again and began gathering wild pokemon within the Chaos Driver’s range. Meanwhile, Chase was snorkelling not too far from shore. He spotted a Finneon and it began to swim toward him. Then it whipped up a Gust attack underwater that pushed him back toward shore. Aaron witnessed what had happened and rushed over to shore.
Aaron: “What happened?”
Chase: “A wild Finneon attacked me.”
Aaron: “We’re supposed to be having fun here, not getting into more trouble.”
Chase: “Yeah, well it seems like trouble never leaves us alone. You’re not the one battling Team Chaos.” Meanwhile, Zach was digging a moat around the sandcastle Katie and Lucas were constructing. Then Zach hit something with his plastic shovel.
Zach: “I hit something hard.”
Lucas: “Is it another rock for my rock collection?” Zach ignored Lucas as he reached into the sand and yanked out what was in there. What he had pulled out was a wild Shellder, and it was irritated by Shade’s Chaos Driver. It stuck its tongue out at Zach.
Zach: “Oh yeah?” Zach retaliated by sticking his tongue out at the Shellder. The Shellder responded by extending its tongue. Zach tried to do the same, but gave up.
Zach: “No fair! I can’t stick my tongue out any further!”
Katie: “Zach, howcome you are fighting with that clam?”
Lucas: “That’s no clam. It’s a pokemon.” The Shellder then use a Clamp attack and pinched Zach’s arm. Zach yelled in pain and then managed to shake off Shellder. Then he went over to the beach blanket and got his pokeball.
Zach: “OK, that’s it! Fearow, get that Shellder!” Zach threw his pokeball and Fearow appeared in the sky. Then Katie noticed that the older boys were having trouble with that same Finneon, along with a Tentacruel, Pelliper, and an Octillary. Darkrai had attracted all the pokemon there. There was one more thing to do, grab the Elite Balls. The boys were heading for their pokeballs, but Katie and Lucas were ahead of them.
Lucas: “Go Spiny! We need you’re help!”
Katie: “Pachirisu, you help too!” Spiny and Pachirisu came out and saw the boys with their snorkelling masks hanging around their faces and the flippers on their feet. At first they were confused at what was going on.
Lucas: “Spiny, go attack the ocean pokemon with Poison Jab.”
Katie: “Pachirisu, use Swift.” Pachirisu fired its attack but to everyone’s surprise, the stars fired from swift seeked out an invisible target. Darkrai is hit and rendered visible.
Chase: “I recognize that Darkrai. It belongs to Shade.” Darkrai didn’t hesitate. It still grabbed the Elite balls and began to take off. Chase, AJ, and Vik had trouble keeping up with the flippers on their feet. Darkrai was going to get away.
Cory: “Turtwig, use Leaf Storm!” A Turtwig jumped up at Darkrai and fired a Razor Leaf attack. It was strong enough to have Darkrai drop the Elite Balls.
Chase: “Cory, good timing.”
Cory: “Hey Chase, you and your friends might want to take off the flippers. You’re on land now.” Cory grabs the Elite Balls and hands them to their owners after they each take off their flippers. Aaron grabbed all the snorkelling masks and flippers and got out of the way for the upcoming battle.
AJ: “Thanks man. Now it’s payback time. Go Feraligatr!” AJ’s Feraligatr Came out of the Elite Ball and faced Darkrai. Chase, Vik, and Cory handled the wild pokemon.
Chase: “Alright, his time I choose Manetric!”
Vik: “Go Ludicolo!”
Cory: “Get ready Turtwig!” Manetric and Ludicolo came out of their Elite Balls and faced the opposing Tentacruel, Pelliper, and Octillary. However one wild pokemon was missing, Finneon. They younger kids were dealing with it. It had managed to use a Gust attack to wreck the kids’ fun.
Katie: “Hey, what’s the big idea, you dumb fish. Pachirisu, use Discharge!” Pachirisu launched its attack and zaps Finneon, Shellder, and Zach’s Fearow.
Zach: “Katie, I’ll handle Shellder Myself. Fearow, attack with Drill Peck!” Fearow moved in for its attack but the Shellder fired an Aurora Beam attack and pushed Fearow back.
Lucas: “Spiny, help Fearow out. Use Iron Tail on Shellder!” Spiny slams its tail onto Shellder. The Shellder used Withdraw to avoid damage. Then after the attack hit, it stuck its tongue back out at the kids and gave out a tuanting cry.
Zach: “That clam is getting on my nerves. Fearow, Tri Attack now!” Fearow fired three beams that made up the tri Attack and it hit Shellder pretty hard. Then Zach took an empty pokeball and threw it at Shellder. Shellder disappeared into the ball and then gets captured.
Lucas: “Why did you capture it?”
Zach: “Because I figured that if it drove me nuts, I could use it to drive my sister nuts.” Katie also had an empty pokeball. After the Discharge attack had drained a lot of Finneon’s energy, she threw it and also caught it.
Katie: “Yes, Pachirisu we did it!” Pachirisu jumped into Katie’s arms as she laughed with joy. Zach grabbed the pokeball that contained his newest pokemon.
Zach: “Hey Katie, I captured the Shellder.”
Katie: “That’s cool. I also captured a pokemon. That same Finneon that ruined our sandcastle.” Meanwhile, AJ tried to battle Darkrai while the rest of the teenagers battled the wild pokemon.
Chase: “Manetric, use ThunderBolt!”
Cory: “Turtwig, use another Leaf Storm!”
Vik: “Now Ludicolo, use Energy Ball!” Tentacruel is zapped by the Thunderbolt. Pelliper has its wings clipped by the Leaf Storm and Octillary is blasted by Energy Ball’s power. The three wild pokemon seemed to have calmed down and began to flee.
Chase: “That was easy.”
Aaron: “Maybe a little too easy.”
Vik: “Nah, besides, we still need to deal with Shade. Where is he anyway?”
AJ: “Fearaligatr, use Aqua Tail on Darkra!” When the rest of the group heard that they suspected that Shade wasn’t too far away, but all they saw was AJ battling Darkrai with Shade nowhere nearby. Darkrai managed to avoid the Aqua Tail attack then it used its Dark Void attack. It affected both Feraligatr and AJ.
AJ: “What’s happening? Why does my head hurt?” At first, the beach becomes a whole blur. Then everything became dark and AJ didn’t see a thing. The next AJ knew, he was reliving his first encounter with the Team Chaos Boss without even knowing it.
AJ: “Where am I? Where are my friends?” Chase and Vik realized what was happening and came to his rescue.
Vik: “AJ, it’s all an illusion. Snap out of it!”
Chase: “Manetric, stop Darkrai with Thunder Wave” Manetric fired a ball of static electricity that paralyzed Darkrai and stopped the Dark Void attack. Darkrai fled after word. AJ came to his senses but was still freaked out from what he saw. His parents came over and escorted him back to the motel room. The Juarez’s thought that that had been enough trouble for one day. Chase and Vik didn’t see AJ for the next couple hours. They wondered what AJ saw and if he’d be able to rejoin them on their journey.
If Chase and friends went to the future, they’d have a hard time finding their way around anywhere. There were hover crafts that were used as the main mode of transportation. The people on the ground either walked, rode a bike or scooter, or took a car although cars were rarely seen these days. Jason was walking toward a building that was disguised as a game shop, but in reality it was one of many Team Chaos buildings.
Jason: “I’m here to see the owner of this store.” The person standing at the store’s entrance knew what Jason meant and was a TC Grunt.
TC Grunt: “Go to the back room and talk to Chelsea.” Chelsea was one of the secretaries that worked for Team Chaos, and was the one who was closest to the Boss. Jason found her in the back room. It seemed obvious that she was waiting for him.
Chelsea: “The Boss wants to see you in person. It’s about the God Pokemon project.”
Jason: “Where is he then?”
Chelsea: “He told me that he’d wait for you on the Space Colony LASER!”
Jason: “On LASER? Fine, I’ll go there.” Space Colony LASER was a space station orbiting the Earth. Chelsea took out a cartridge ball. She was one of many Team Chaos members that didn’t bother with the Diamond and Pearl games. She released her Alakazam.
Chelsea: “Use Teleport to send Jason to LASER.” Within seconds, Jason found himself in the main lobby of LASER. The Boss’s room was not too far away. On LASER, there was artificial gravity created by a number of Clefables using the Gravity attack. Jason walked into the Boss’s room. There he was, standingin a dark corner of the room while looking out a window and down to the planet Earth.
TC Boss: “Nice of you to make it, Jason.” Jason stood next to his Boss. He also loked out the window and saw that an Uxie, a Mesprit, and an Azelf were flying around.
Jason: “What’s going on?”
TC Boss: “I’ve decided to bring the God Pokemon Project to a whole new level. You know, your father was a real genius. I’m grateful to have been his partner.”
Jason: “Where is my father now?”
TC Boss: “In the base located in Los Angeles, California. He is very disappointed with your performance. You know more than any other team Chaos Admin. You’ve contributed very well as far as our gadgets go, but your performance sickens both me and your father.”
Jason: “So what are we doing with the god pokemon project now?”
TC Boss: “Nothing that you had planned. I’ll admit, you came up with a fine idea, but you couldn’t pull it off. So I had made some arrangements.” Jason was aware that something was wrong. It was true that the God Pokemon Project hadn’t gone the way he planned both times he attempted to make it succeed, but he never told anyone that he failed in the past. Someone had pulled the strings, but who?
TC Boss: “See Jason? This is what we were meant to do.”
Jason: “Why is all this happening with me not knowing anything about it?”
TC Boss: “Because you failed me TWICE!”
Jason: “That’s not my fault. You gave me the wrong people to work with. Gwen and Shade betrayed me in the past. They wanted to sue the power of the cartridge balls for themselves.”
TC Boss: “You said you wanted to be a leader of Team Chaos and you got it. Now witness my version of the God Pokemon Project.” At the moment, Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit combined their powers and created a Time-Space distortion. Inside it, Jason saw something he thought he’d never see. It was an Arceus, not just any Arceus, but his Arceus. There was something else as well. The Arceus had a rider. At the moment, the rider was too far and too small to identify. Who could tame an Arceus?
Jason: “Boss, why are you releasing Arceus. It’s the very reason my father and I failed the first time.”
TC Boss: “Don’t you know that you’re supposed to learn from your mistakes? Look more carefully at the person riding it.” Jason took a closer look as Arceus approached Space Colony LASER. Jason was shocked when he learned the rider’s identity. It was Xero! How did he tame Arceus and what was he going to do with the God Pokemon project. Xero was a TC Admin, but then started to sabotage Team Chaos from the inside.
Jason: “Why? This is nothing from what I had planned.”
TC Boss: “But this is everything I had planned. Xero is a better trainer than you are. Now he’ll go out and show the world what Team Chaos is capable of. However, there is still one complication that concerns me.” Jason knew what he was talking about.
Jason: “The fact that we lost Skyler to Chase?”
TC Boss: “That, and while I look through a few archives I noticed that a number of wild pokemon were released into Earth in the past. I never authorized anything like that. Not only that, but a few Chaos Drivers have been missing as well.”
Jason: “Wait, having wild pokemon in the past could affect our own timeline.”
TC Boss: “The God Pokemon Project is at stake once more, and we’re very close to accomplishing our new world order. Find out who had released so many wild pokemon and see what you can do about. Xero, your father, and I will take good care of Arceus.” Jason left the room. Everything that he had worked so hard for had been distorted. The worst of it was Xero had become a part of it. Nothing seemed to be right anymore. Chelsea was waiting at her desk in the lobby with her Alakazam ready to Teleport Jason. Jason warped himself to his father’s base. He thought he’d find clearer answers here. As he approached the entrance, the two TC Grunts guarding the entrance block him.
TC Grunt: “Sorry Jason, our commander told us not to let you in.”
Jason: “What? Your commander is my father, and I’m a team Chaos Admin. I should be allowed in.”
TC Grunt: “Times have changed Jason. You’re not allowed in here until further notice.” Jason grunted and stormed off. All this was happening because of one person, Chase. Without hesitation, he released his Celebi and went back in time.

Chapter 5: Coastline Chaos

Lucas: “That’s no clam. It’s a pokemon.” The Shellder then use a Clamp attack and pinched Zach’s arm. Zach yelled in pain and then managed to shake off Shellder. Then he went over to the beach blanket and got his pokeball.
Zach: “OK, that’s it! Fearow, get that Shellder!” Zach threw his pokeball and Fearow appeared in the sky. Then Katie noticed that the older boys were having trouble with that same Finneon, along with a Tentacruel, Pelliper, and an Octillary. Darkrai had attracted all the pokemon there. Zach: “Because I figured that if it drove me nuts, I could use it to drive my sister nuts.” Katie also had an empty pokeball. After the Discharge attack had drained a lot of Finneon’s energy, she threw it and also caught it.
Katie: “Yes, Pachirisu we did it!” Pachirisu jumped into Katie’s arms as she laughed with joy. Zach grabbed the pokeball that contained his newest pokemon.
Zach: “Hey Katie, I captured the Shellder.”
Katie: “That’s cool. I also captured a pokemon. That same Finneon that ruined our sandcastle.” Meanwhile, AJ tried to battle Darkrai while the rest of the teenagers battled the wild pokemon.
Chase: “Manetric, use ThunderBolt!”
Cory: “Turtwig, use another Leaf Storm!”
Vik: “Now Ludicolo, use Energy Ball!” Tentacruel is zapped by the Thunderbolt. Pelliper has its wings clipped by the Leaf Storm and Octillary is blasted by Energy Ball’s power. The three wild pokemon seemed to have calmed down and began to flee.
Chase: “That was easy.”
Aaron: “Maybe a little too easy.”
Vik: “Nah, besides, we still need to deal with Shade. Where is he anyway?”
AJ: “Fearaligatr, use Aqua Tail on Darkra!” When the rest of the group heard that they suspected that Shade wasn’t too far away, but all they saw was AJ battling Darkrai with Shade nowhere nearby. Darkrai managed to avoid the Aqua Tail attack then it used its Dark Void attack. It affected both Feraligatr and AJ.
AJ: “What’s happening? Why does my head hurt?” At first, the beach becomes a whole blur. Then everything became dark and AJ didn’t see a thing. The next AJ knew, he was reliving his first encounter with the Team Chaos Boss without even knowing it.
AJ: “Where am I? Where are my friends?” Chase and Vik realized what was happening and came to his rescue.
Vik: “AJ, it’s all an illusion. Snap out of it!”
Chase: “Manetric, stop Darkrai with Thunder Wave” Manetric fired a ball of static electricity that paralyzed Darkrai and stopped the Dark Void attack. Darkrai fled after word. AJ came to his senses but was still freaked out from what he saw. His parents came over and escorted him back to the motel room. The Juarez’s thought that that had been enough trouble for one day. Chase and Vik didn’t see AJ for the next couple hours. They wondered what AJ saw and if he’d be able to rejoin them on their journey.
Chapter 6: Distortion
If Chase and friends went to the future, they’d have a hard time finding their way around anywhere. There were hover crafts that were used as the main mode of transportation. The people on the ground either walked, rode a bike or scooter, or took a car although cars were rarely seen these days. Jason was walking toward a building that was disguised as a game shop, but in reality it was one of many Team Chaos buildings.
Jason: “I’m here to see the owner of this store.” The person standing at the store’s entrance knew what Jason meant and was a TC Grunt.
TC Grunt: “Go to the back room and talk to Chelsea.” Chelsea was one of the secretaries that worked for Team Chaos, and was the one who was closest to the Boss. Jason found her in the back room. It seemed obvious that she was waiting for him.
Chelsea: “The Boss wants to see you in person. It’s about the God Pokemon project.”
Jason: “Where is he then?”
Chelsea: “He told me that he’d wait for you on the Space Colony LASER!”
Jason: “On LASER? Fine, I’ll go there.” Space Colony LASER was a space station orbiting the Earth. Chelsea took out a cartridge ball. She was one of many Team Chaos members that didn’t bother with the Diamond and Pearl games. She released her Alakazam.
Chelsea: “Use Teleport to send Jason to LASER.” Within seconds, Jason found himself in the main lobby of LASER. The Boss’s room was not too far away. On LASER, there was artificial gravity created by a number of Clefables using the Gravity attack. Jason walked into the Boss’s room. There he was, standingin a dark corner of the room while looking out a window and down to the planet Earth.
TC Boss: “Nice of you to make it, Jason.” Jason stood next to his Boss. He also loked out the window and saw that an Uxie, a Mesprit, and an Azelf were flying around.
Jason: “What’s going on?”
TC Boss: “I’ve decided to bring the God Pokemon Project to a whole new level. You know, your father was a real genius. I’m grateful to have been his partner.”
Jason: “Where is my father now?”
TC Boss: “In the base located in Los Angeles, California. He is very disappointed with your performance. You know more than any other team Chaos Admin. You’ve contributed very well as far as our gadgets go, but your performance sickens both me and your father.”
Jason: “So what are we doing with the god pokemon project now?”
TC Boss: “Nothing that you had planned. I’ll admit, you came up with a fine idea, but you couldn’t pull it off. So I had made some arrangements.” Jason was aware that something was wrong. It was true that the God Pokemon Project hadn’t gone the way he planned both times he attempted to make it succeed, but he never told anyone that he failed in the past. Someone had pulled the strings, but who?
TC Boss: “See Jason? This is what we were meant to do.”
Jason: “Why is all this happening with me not knowing anything about it?”
TC Boss: “Because you failed me TWICE!”
Jason: “That’s not my fault. You gave me the wrong people to work with. Gwen and Shade betrayed me in the past. They wanted to sue the power of the cartridge balls for themselves.”
TC Boss: “You said you wanted to be a leader of Team Chaos and you got it. Now witness my version of the God Pokemon Project.” At the moment, Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit combined their powers and created a Time-Space distortion. Inside it, Jason saw something he thought he’d never see. It was an Arceus, not just any Arceus, but his Arceus. There was something else as well. The Arceus had a rider. At the moment, the rider was too far and too small to identify. Who could tame an Arceus?
Jason: “Boss, why are you releasing Arceus. It’s the very reason my father and I failed the first time.”
TC Boss: “Don’t you know that you’re supposed to learn from your mistakes? Look more carefully at the person riding it.” Jason took a closer look as Arceus approached Space Colony LASER. Jason was shocked when he learned the rider’s identity. It was Xero! How did he tame Arceus and what was he going to do with the God Pokemon project. Xero was a TC Admin, but then started to sabotage Team Chaos from the inside.
Jason: “Why? This is nothing from what I had planned.”
TC Boss: “But this is everything I had planned. Xero is a better trainer than you are. Now he’ll go out and show the world what Team Chaos is capable of. However, there is still one complication that concerns me.” Jason knew what he was talking about.
Jason: “The fact that we lost Skyler to Chase?”
TC Boss: “That, and while I look through a few archives I noticed that a number of wild pokemon were released into Earth in the past. I never authorized anything like that. Not only that, but a few Chaos Drivers have been missing as well.”
Jason: “Wait, having wild pokemon in the past could affect our own timeline.”
TC Boss: “The God Pokemon Project is at stake once more, and we’re very close to accomplishing our new world order. Find out who had released so many wild pokemon and see what you can do about. Xero, your father, and I will take good care of Arceus.” Jason left the room. Everything that he had worked so hard for had been distorted. The worst of it was Xero had become a part of it. Nothing seemed to be right anymore. Chelsea was waiting at her desk in the lobby with her Alakazam ready to Teleport Jason. Jason warped himself to his father’s base. He thought he’d find clearer answers here. As he approached the entrance, the two TC Grunts guarding the entrance block him.
TC Grunt: “Sorry Jason, our commander told us not to let you in.”
Jason: “What? Your commander is my father, and I’m a team Chaos Admin. I should be allowed in.”
TC Grunt: “Times have changed Jason. You’re not allowed in here until further notice.” Jason grunted and stormed off. All this was happening because of one person, Chase. Without hesitation, he released his Celebi and went back in time.

Chapter 7
Making up for lost time here. However, there's no telling when I'll get the next chapter up. I know for sure that chapter 10 has the next guest character. I promise, everyone will like what I do in the next few chapters.

It was the next morning back at the Motel 6. AJ had plenty of time to recover from Darkrai’s attack on his mind. At the time it was just AJ, Chase, and Lucas. Vik, Zach, Katie, and Aaron went with the adults to eat some breakfast.
AJ: “So Darkrai brought my nightmares to life.”
Chase: “Kind of. I’ve been hit by Darkrai’s Dark Void attack as well. It finds your fears or uses your memories against you. Since you’re still struggling with amnesia, Darkrai must’ve brought back something you did as Skyler.”
Lucas: “You were very scary when you were Skyler. I should know.”
AJ: “Well Lucas, I was brainwashed. If I ever find that Shade guy, I’m going to give him a piece of my mind.” There was a knock on the door. The rest of the group showed up with breakfast items for Chase, AJ, and Lucas. Then Zach and Katie approached Lucas.
Zach: “Look what we found on the beach.”
Katie: “You can have it for your rock collection, Lucas.” She hands him over a shiny blue rock that was slightly transparent. In the center of the rock there was a shape like a star from the night sky.
Lucas: “This is really cool. Forget my rock collection. I’m keeping this with me for good luck.” He puts it in his backpack.
Mrs. Juarez: “I don’t know Lucas. Maybe you boys shouldn’t go after what happened yesterday.”
AJ: “Mom, that Shade character did something to me. I want to find him because I think he maybe able to help me recover the rest of my memory.” Mr. and Mrs. Juarez said nothing after that. It was clear to them that AJ had made up his mind and was determined to finish the journey he barely started. Just then, a Skarmory yelled out a cry. Everyone looked out the room’s sliding door and saw that Brad with his Skarmory had landed on the motel room’s balcony. Vik went over to unlock the sliding door and let them in.
Brad: “Hello everyone.”
Chase: “Brad, what are you doing here?”
Brad: “It’s ‘boss’ in public, Chase. Skarmory, great job getting me here, return!” Skarmory was recalled back into its cartridge ball. Brad’s Team Rocket outfit proved his authority as the “Rocket Boss.” However, it seemed strange to Chase that he’ show up alone.
Vik: “Where are the other Rockets?”
Brad: “Well Vik, it’s you and me. Team Chaos has kidnapped Amy and I need back up.”
Chase: “Hey Brad, you’re gonna need my help as well if you’re going to rescue Amy.”
Brad: “Alright, after all, I consider you part of Team Rocket now.”
Aaron: "Hah, Chase no offense, but I think I make a better Rocket than you do."
Chase: "Sorry, you have to be a great trainer to be in team rocket., which you're not!"
Vik: "Oh, diss."
Aaron: "Whatever. I'll see you guys when your done being heroes and all. My parents will be here soon to pick me up anyway." Aaron picks up his bag that contained his clothes and went to lobby.
Brad: "OK, anyone else coming?"
AJ: “I’m going to. I got a score to settle with them.”
Lucas: “You’re not leaving me behind, big bro.”
Mr. Juarez: “AJ, take care of yourself and your brother.”
Zach: “Lucas, we’re going to stay here in case those bad guys decide to come back.”
Katie: “Yeah, we’ll show them that they can’t mess with our best friend and get away with it.” Lucas smiled at his friends.
Lucas: “Thanks guys. With the shiny rock you gave me as a good luck charm, there’s no way we’ll lose.”
Brad: “Alright, it’s starting to get too joyous here. Let’s go to Destination R.” One by one, the group left on their flying pokemon. First Brad on his Skarmory, followed by Vik on his Swellow nicknamed Jo, then AJ and Lucas on the same Salamence, and finally, Chase with his Staraptor. They flew to the North East of Lincoln City. Brad explained everything on the way.
Brad: “I was talking to Amy on her cell phone when all of a sudden there was a loud thud. Then Amy’s voice disappeared. Next thing I knew, another girl’s voice came in. She said ‘if you want to see your girlfriend again, you’ll come to her apartment and follow the map we’re leaving here.’ The line went dead after that.” He showed the map to the rest of the group after that. There was a log cabin in the middle of the woods not too far from Mill City and Santiam River. That’s where they were holding Amy.
Chase: “So Brad, I mean Boss, how did you know where to find us?”
Brad: “Vik called me on your cell phone. As for the other Rockets, their either on vacation or they wouldn’t answer their phones or email.” About twenty minutes later, they arrived at the circled area on the map which was marked “Destination R.” AJ, Vik, and Chase recalled their flying pokemon and then looked around in the forest.
Chase: “So where do we start?” Brad studied the map for a minute. Then he came up with a decision.
Brad: “Follow me, and get ready to release your pokemon at any given moment.” They walked though the woods for a few minutes. Eventually they reached the North Santiam River and the cabin was visible on the other side of the River.
Vik: “Hey Boss, are you sure you read that map right?”
Brad: “Yeah, but I think they marked it wrong.” At that moment a tree fell over and it landed very close to where the group was standing.
Chase: “Either that or we fell for another trap!” They looked in the direction from where the tree fell. It turned out that a wild Bibarrel had knocked it down. It picked up the tree and dragged it away.
AJ: “That was a good false alarm. Huh? Look into the river guys!” On one of the rocks stood a Gardevoir. Its eyes were glowing blue. Gardevoir was preparing a Psychic attack. Then it used it to make the group levitate to the other side of the river.
Chase: “Wait a minute, that’s Gwen’s Gardevoir. Why did she kidnap Amy?”
Amy: “I’m not kidnapped. I’m fine see?” Amy was standing outside of the cabin’s back door. The rest of the group stood there shocked and wondering what exactly was going on. Then Gwen appeared.
Gwen: “Sorry to give you all a good scare, but I figured that a written invitation wouldn’t work.”
Chase: "Gwen? What are you doing here?”
Gwen: “I’m here to warn you. I’ve already told Amy the full version of the story so I’ll just summarize it.”
AJ: “Hold on a minute. Yesterday your friend Shade attacked me with his Darkrai. How do I know this won’t be a trap?”
Chase: “We can trust her AJ.”
Gwen: “Now listen. I have a mission for you but you won’t like it.”
Lucas: “I already don’t like the sound of this.”
Brad: “What’s so important that you had to kidnap Amy?”
Gwen: “Chase, after you defeated Jason, there were a few changes made in Team Chaos; changes for the worse.”
Brad: “Oh, how scary.”
Amy: “I’d listen to her Brad. We’re on top of Team Chaos’s hit list as well. They might come after you and me.”
Gwen: “Like I was saying, losing Skyler, AKA your friend AJ, cost Jason’s leadership. What’s even worse is that Xero has made his way deep into Team Chaos’s secrete project.”
Chase: “Xero? You mean that creep with the Dusknoir and Mismagius? I thought he wasn’t a Team Chaos member.”
Gwen: “So did I, but something’s not right in my timeline, and it’s beginning to effect your timeline. For example, you know of the wild pokemon all over the planet, don’t you?”
AJ: “Who doesn’t? Do you know how they were released?”
Gwen: “That’s a mystery to everyone in Team Chaos as well. We don’t know how it happened. Only the boss knows and he’s not saying a word about it. Anyway, this mission I’m giving you is vital to stopping Team Chaos. I want all of you to go to the old base you destroyed three months ago.”
Vik: “You mean that same base where you took my parents?”
Gwen: “That’s the one.”
Lucas: “Not that place again. I hated it there.”
AJ: “I’m going!” That reaction was somewhat of a shock to Chase, Vik, and Lucas.
Chase: “You sure about this AJ? Last time we were there we barely made it out.”
AJ: “We should go. I have the feeling that I’ll find something there that’ll help with my memory. I know it sounds weird, but when that Darkrai gave me that nightmare, I saw that base, and there was a room inside it. Something’s waiting for us there.”
Brad: “Hold on boys. This could be another trap. I still don’t trust Gwen after my last encounter with her.”
Gwen: “Well if you want to live in the peaceful lives you still have, you’ll listen to me. Destination R is a temporary location. Team Chaos will eventually find out I’m here and come for since I betray them on a regular basis. Like I was saying, go to the base. I believe that it’s also linked to how so many wild pokemon were released. Be careful though. Your world is no longer safe. Oh, and one more thing.” She reaches into her purse and pulls out a Chaos Driver. This was the first time Chase and friends had seen the device up close.
Brad: “What is that, some pokeradar rip off?”
Gwen: “It’s modelled after the pokeradar. We call it the Chaos Driver. Like a pokeradar, it can detect pokemon in the real world and it tracks active Elite and Cartridge balls. The White dots are the active Elite and Cartridge balls. The Yellow dots are wild pokemon. The Red dots are pokemon under the control of a trainer. Lastly, the silver dots are wild shiny pokemon.”
Chase: “So you’re saying that if I chain 40 of a certain pokemon in the real world a shiny version of it will appear?”
Gwen: “The Chaos Driver doesn’t have that feature but it does do something else. See that switch on the side? Turn it onto Chaos mode and it’ll broadcast a signal to a 15 feet radius. Any wild pokemon picking up that signal will become violent and attack anything or anyone.”
Brad: “Chaos Mode? Can’t you losers come up with anything original?” Gwen ignored him as she handed over the Chaos Driver to Chase.
Gwen: “Chase, I know I can trust you and your friends. We’ll meet again soon. Oh, and keep an eye out for Shade and Jason. I’m sure they’ll be seeing you again as well. Gardevoir, time to go.” Gardevoir used Teleport and just like that, Gwen and Gardevoir were gone.
Vik: “What do you think, Boss?”
Brad: “I’m still thinking about what she meant about Destination R being a temporary place.”
Amy: “I talked to her. She said that if she needs to meet us again, she’ll pick a spot like this one where Team Chaos won’t find us and tell us to meet her there.”
Chase: “Brad, will you come with us to the base?”
Brad: “For what I hope is the last time Chase, call me the Rocket Boss, and no, I think Amy and I should sit this one out and regroup the rest of the Rockets.”
Vik: “Don’t worry Boss. If you ever need us, you’ll know how to contact us.” Vik placed his arm around Chase.
Chase: “You are not using my cell phone again without my permission. Besides, my mom asked me to keep the roaming charges to a minimum.”
Vik: “Dude, you’re such a spoil sport when you wanna be.”
Amy: “Anyway, Vik, Chase, and the rest of you take care of yourselves, we’ll be watching out for Team Chaos as well.”
Brad: “Fill us in on what you find at the Base. We’ll go and see how many Team Chaos members we can send packing in the North West. Skarmory, come back on out!”
Amy: “Go Pidgeot!” Skarmory and Pidgeot were released and Brad and Amy fly away from the group.
Chase: “Shall we accomplish the mission Gwen gave us?”
AJ: “Let’s. Rayquaza, it's show time!” AJ releases his Shiny Rayquaza from his Elite Ball. The four of them climb aboard.
Lucas: “You sure about this big bro?”
AJ: “Yeah. Like I said, I have a score to settle with Team Chaos. Let’s take off with Extremespeed, Rayquaza!” They fly into the sky and begin heading east. Now that they had a Chaos Driver in hand, they stood more of a chance of winning the new battle with Team Chaos.

AJ: “Hold on a minute. Yesterday your friend Shade attacked me with his Darkrai. How do I know this won’t be a trap?”
Chase: “We can trust her AJ.”
Gwen: “Now listen. I have a mission for you but you won’t like it.”
Lucas: “I already don’t like the sound of this.”
Brad: “What’s so important that you had to kidnap Amy?”
Gwen: “Chase, after you defeated Jason, there were a few changes made in Team Chaos; changes for the worse.”
Brad: “Oh, how scary.”
Amy: “I’d listen to her Brad. We’re on top of Team Chaos’s hit list as well. They might come after you and me.”
Gwen: “Like I was saying, losing Skyler, AKA your friend AJ, cost Jason’s leadership. What’s even worse is that Xero has made his way deep into Team Chaos’s secrete project.”
Chase: “Xero? You mean that creep with the Dusknoir and Mismagius? I thought he wasn’t a Team Chaos member.”
Gwen: “So did I, but something’s not right in my timeline, and it’s beginning to effect your timeline. For example, you know of the wild pokemon all over the planet, don’t you?”
AJ: “Who doesn’t? Do you know how they were released?”
Gwen: “That’s a mystery to everyone in Team Chaos as well. We don’t know how it happened. Only the boss knows and he’s not saying a word about it. Anyway, this mission I’m giving you is vital to stopping Team Chaos. I want all of you to go to the old base you destroyed three months ago.”
Vik: “You mean that same base where you took my parents?”
Gwen: “That’s the one.”
Lucas: “Not that place again. I hated it there.”
AJ: “I’m going!” That reaction was somewhat of a shock to Chase, Vik, and Lucas.
Chase: “You sure about this AJ? Last time we were there we barely made it out.”
AJ: “We should go. I have the feeling that I’ll find something there that’ll help with my memory. I know it sounds weird, but when that Darkrai gave me that nightmare, I saw that base, and there was a room inside it. Something’s waiting for us there.”
Brad: “Hold on boys. This could be another trap. I still don’t trust Gwen after my last encounter with her.”
Gwen: “Well if you want to live in the peaceful lives you still have, you’ll listen to me. Destination R is a temporary location. Team Chaos will eventually find out I’m here and come for since I betray them on a regular basis. Like I was saying, go to the base. I believe that it’s also linked to how so many wild pokemon were released. Be careful though. Your world is no longer safe. Oh, and one more thing.” She reaches into her purse and pulls out a Chaos Driver. This was the first time Chase and friends had seen the device up close.
Brad: “What is that, some pokeradar rip off?”
Gwen: “It’s modelled after the pokeradar. We call it the Chaos Driver. Like a pokeradar, it can detect pokemon in the real world and it tracks active Elite and Cartridge balls. The White dots are the active Elite and Cartridge balls. The Yellow dots are wild pokemon. The Red dots are pokemon under the control of a trainer. Lastly, the silver dots are wild shiny pokemon.”
Chase: “So you’re saying that if I chain 40 of a certain pokemon in the real world a shiny version of it will appear?”
Gwen: “The Chaos Driver doesn’t have that feature but it does do something else. See that switch on the side? Turn it onto Chaos mode and it’ll broadcast a signal to a 15 feet radius. Any wild pokemon picking up that signal will become violent and attack anything or anyone.”
Brad: “Chaos Mode? Can’t you losers come up with anything original?” Gwen ignored him as she handed over the Chaos Driver to Chase.
Gwen: “Chase, I know I can trust you and your friends. We’ll meet again soon. Oh, and keep an eye out for Shade and Jason. I’m sure they’ll be seeing you again as well. Gardevoir, time to go.” Gardevoir used Teleport and just like that, Gwen and Gardevoir were gone.
Vik: “What do you think, Boss?”
Brad: “I’m still thinking about what she meant about Destination R being a temporary place.”
Amy: “I talked to her. She said that if she needs to meet us again, she’ll pick a spot like this one where Team Chaos won’t find us and tell us to meet her there.”
Chase: “Brad, will you come with us to the base?”
Brad: “For what I hope is the last time Chase, call me the Rocket Boss, and no, I think Amy and I should sit this one out and regroup the rest of the Rockets.”
Vik: “Don’t worry Boss. If you ever need us, you’ll know how to contact us.” Vik placed his arm around Chase.
Chase: “You are not using my cell phone again without my permission. Besides, my mom asked me to keep the roaming charges to a minimum.”
Vik: “Dude, you’re such a spoil sport when you wanna be.”
Amy: “Anyway, Vik, Chase, and the rest of you take care of yourselves, we’ll be watching out for Team Chaos as well.”
Brad: “Fill us in on what you find at the Base. We’ll go and see how many Team Chaos members we can send packing in the North West. Skarmory, come back on out!”
Amy: “Go Pidgeot!” Skarmory and Pidgeot were released and Brad and Amy fly away from the group.
Chase: “Shall we accomplish the mission Gwen gave us?”
AJ: “Let’s. Rayquaza, it's show time!” AJ releases his Shiny Rayquaza from his Elite Ball. The four of them climb aboard.
Lucas: “You sure about this big bro?”
AJ: “Yeah. Like I said, I have a score to settle with Team Chaos. Let’s take off with Extremespeed, Rayquaza!” They fly into the sky and begin heading east. Now that they had a Chaos Driver in hand, they stood more of a chance of winning the new battle with Team Chaos.

Feedback: you asked for it!
Chapter 5: I was disappointed at first to see the return of Lucas’ little friends Zach and Katie as I thought them a hindrance to the tale (they are so young), but here you make them work very well. I especially like the scene with the Shellder. I got a great chuckle out of the clamp on the arm attack. Good job. I was happy to see you left the twins stay behind on the next adventure (chapter 7) as I don’t really think their parents would allow them to go on a dangerous mission.
Vik’s parents: I would have thought they’d be out on the beach adding Wingull and Pelipper to their birdwatching life list and searching for a Chatot! Wouldn’t the adults (non-pokemon folks) be afraid of the wild pokemon? After all, the pokemon are new to the world, some are large, and often prone to attacking tourists?
AJ’s encounter with another memory glitch is intriguing. Keeps us asking, “will he get him memory back, and if so, what will AJ do then?”
What happens to Aaron at the end of this chapter?
Chapter 6: I like the feel of this chapter, a bit of calm between your chapters of battles. I can really feel the setting of the future as the TC Boss talks to Jason. Having Jason banned from being able to see his own father is intriguing, just leaves me wanting to read more!
Chapter 7: There are so many “bad guys” in this story: Jason, Shade, Xero, the TC Boss, so it’s good that this chapter reminds us that AJ is seeking Shade or is it Xero? to recover his memory.
I really like this chapter, it gave me a lot of laughs—the banter between Vik and Chase over the cell phone, -- Brad, the Rocket Boss and how Chase never remembers to call him “boss” and Brad gets flustered over that. You even mention a Bibarel gnawing down a tree—a beaver Pokemon in the Beaver State—nice touch!
The pokeradar/chaos drive, and a visit to the old TC headquarters coming up—keeps me reading!

Fixed, although I think I'd rather have him teleported away to a desserted island. JK! :thumb:

The sky became cloudy as they flew East toward what was once team Chaos’s base nearly three months ago. Luckily Rayquaza’s Air Lock ability made it so that they had no weather problems on the way there. Once they knew they were close, AJ had his Shiny Rayquaza land in the fake forest. With the base destroyed they doubted any of the surveillance devices worked.
AJ: “This place gives me the creeps.”
Chase: “Yeah? Well you didn’t have to be here when it was infested with Team Chaos Grunts trying to stop us.”
Vik: “Try having to rescue your parents while they’re hypnotized.” Vik’s stomached growled after that. That reminded the rest of the group that it’s been awhile since any of them had eaten anything. Luckily they stocked up on food in Lincoln City. AJ was carrying most of the food in his backpack. Chase let out his Typhlosion to help cook the noodle cups they had. An hour later, they resumed their trip. The sun had started to set on the metallic forest. Wild pokemon roamed around but none of them bothered the group.
Chase: “Wow, this place sure has changed. I see more wild Slackoths, Ekans, and Murkrows than anything else.”
Lucas: "It's getting dark Chase. Should we set up camp like how Ash, Brock, and Dawn do?"
Chase: "Sure, if you'll stop comparing us to the cartoon characters." The sun had almost dissapeared from the sky when the group started setting up camp for the night. They had a miniature tent that only had enough room for two people. It was meant for AJ and Lucas. Chase and Vik didn't mind sleeping under the stars with their sleeping bags. They kept their Elite balls close in case they had to release their pokemon for battle in the middle of the night.
Vik: “Tomorrow’s going to be nothing but trouble.”
Lucas: “What makes you say that?”
Vik: “It’s Team Chaos’ Base. There’s nothing left but trouble just like the last time we were here. You and your two friends were causing quite a bit of it too.”
Lucas: “I’m no trouble maker! That’s Zach’s job!”
AJ: “OK Lucas, calm down. I know you meant well and I know you’ll be better help this time around since you’re a better trainer now.”
Chase: “Besides, you learned a few tricks from me as well. Now let’s all get some sleep and try not to worry about tomorrow.” After a half an hour everyone was asleep except for Lucas. He thought about the last time he was at the base.
Lucas (thinking): I did fine the last time I was here. Why does Vik think I’m a trouble maker? Well, I did get scared a few times I was here. Every time I got in trouble someone rescued me. Come to think of it, I couldn’t even rescue my brother. Aw, I guess I do get in the way instead of helping. Just then, Lucas heard a voice. He was alarmed by it and wondered what was calling to him. Next thing he knew, he was leaving the campsite. The next morning, the rest of the boys were in for a rude awakening.
AJ: “Hmm? That’s weird. Usually Lucas wakes up before I do.” AJ slowly got up walked to Lucas’s sleeping bag. When he noticed it was empty he panicked for a moment. Then he double checked the sleeping bag. After that he looked around. Chase and Vik were also beginning to wake up.
Chase: “What’s wrong AJ?” AJ was beginning to panic again.
AJ: “I can’t find Lucas anywhere!”
Vik: “What? The last thing we need is another problem caused by your little brother.”
Chase: “Quiet Vik, you’re not helping. We need to find him. Staraptor, search for Lucas from the sky!”
AJ: “You too, Salamence!” Chase and AJ released their Flying pokemon while Vik quickly packed up the camp.
Chase: “I don’t know about the rest of you but I think we’ll find Lucas faster by splitting up.”
Vik: “OK, I’ll help search from the sky. Let’s go Zapdos!” With one throw of the Elite Ball Zapdos is released and Vik climbs aboard. Chase and AJ went their separate ways. Meanwhile, Lucas was actually inside the base with Spiny at his side.
Lucas: “Any luck Spiny?” Spiny used its ears to keep picking up on the sound that Lucas heard last night. Eventually it shook its head. “Oh well. Let’s keep going forward.” They took a several steps forward when all of a sudden, the ceiling collapsed with a rockslide. Now there was only one way for them to go, and there was no way for Lucas to contact his brother or his friends. He had a feeling they were probably looking for him, but he wanted to prove to them that he could help them in the mission. Spiny’s big ears were able to pick up Chase calling for them.
Chase: “Lucas, where are you!”
AJ: “Come on little bro, where’d you go?!” AJ and Chase ran into each other close to the base’s entrance. “No luck?”
Chase: “No. Hey wait a minute. Lucas never travels alone unless he releases one of his pokemon, right?”
AJ: “Yeah, back at home I told him to always take his pokeballs with him if he ever went to the park by himself. I'm sure releasing his pokemon is now one of his new habbits.”
Chase: “Then that’s how we’ll find him. Staraptor, thanks for helping. Now it’s Arcanine’s turn!” Staraptor was recalled back into Chase’s Diamond game and Arcanine took its place in the real world. Chase always relied on Arcanine for searchng for anyone.
AJ: “Arcanine, please pick up Spiny’s scent and see if you can lead us to it and my brother.” Arcanine sniffed around for the scent of a Nidorino and then ran into the base.
Chase: “Good job Arcanine. Figures he went in here.” The inside of the base was filled with hardened magma from Groudon’s Eruption attack. The ceiling had a huge gaping hole in it from the time Vik used Earthquake on it to break in. The electricity was also shut off. None of the lights or computers worked. Arcanine continued to sniff around for Spiny’s scent. By now, they’ve been searching for Lucas for two hours. Soon they came to a rockslide blocking a corridor. Lucas and Spiny were obviously on the other side.
AJ: “Oh no, Team Chaos better not be behind this if they know what’s good for them.”
Chase: “Here, I know how to clear this. Aggron, come on out!” Chase released his Shiny Aggron. It gave out a roar as it appeared. Vik heard it and saw Shiny Aggron. He had his Zapdos land inside the base thinking that the others found something. AJ’s Salamence followed Vik inside.
Vik: “Lucas went this way?”
Chase: “Yeah, Arcanine’s been following a scent trail up to this rockslide. Now everyone stand back. Aggron, use Metal Burst to clear that pile of rocks!” With one swift blow, Shiny Aggron cleared the rockslide. Rocks flew everywhere from the impact of the blow. “Nice job Aggron, now return.”
Vik: “Zapdos, you return too.”
AJ: “Salamence, Return!” The three boys recalled their pokemon except for Arcanine. The tunnel up ahead was filled with hardened magma. This was one of the last places Chase and Vik wanted to be since it led them to where their first encounter with Xero was. As for AJ, he hoped that he would find his brother and the rest of his memory. He remembered what the Darkrai’s nightmare had showed him. A room in this base. There was a computer that still had power. Jason was there but AJ couldn’t remember who he was.
Chase: “Hey AJ, you seem pretty quiet. Everything OK?” AJ just kept thinking of the vision he was shown. He didn’t say a word. Meanwhile, Lucas reached the room where the battle with Xero took place three months ago.
Lucas: “Why did we have to come here Spiny? This place is creepy.” Spiny gave a few cries of concern then pointed its horn in the direction of a pokemon asleep on in a corner of the room. Lucas recognized it.
Kirlia (telepathically): You came! Lucas ran over to where it laid.
Lucas: “Kirlia? You called me here? I thought you sacrificed yourself and that bad guy destroyed you.” Spiny looked at Kirlia. Then it licked it to show that it was happy to see it again. Lucas picked up Kirlia and held it in his arms. Kirlia was extremely weak.
Kirlia (telepathically): I managed to teleport away from that bad guy, but Groudon’s Eruption trapped me here and I was too weak to leave this terrible place. I never thought you’d come back. Then I heard your thoughts last night and used up whatever energy I had left to call you using my synchronize ability.
Lucas: “So it was you making all those noises that Spiny could hear.” Kirlia nodded.
Kirlia (telepathically): There’s something else. Someone else is here. He’s going to set a trap. I read his mind. You and your friends need to get out of here. Kirlia could’ve told Lucas more, but it was using so much energy to talk to Lucas with its synchronize ability that it passed out. Not long after that, Arcanine came into the room and barked. Lucas turned around; still hold Kirlia in his arms.
AJ: “Lucas, oh man thank god you’re alright.” AJ, Vik, and Chase ran up to him and saw the injured Kirlia in his arms.
Chase: “Were you battling Kirlia and trying to catch it?”
Lucas: “No! Kirlia’s been living on this base for three months. It told me that it never recovered from teleporting us out of here last time. Not only that, but someone else is here!”
Vik: “Figures. It must be one of the Team Chaos Admins that's also here.”
Lucas: “We got to go, but I can’t leave Kirlia here by itself again!”
Chase: “Relax Lucas, I got just the thing.” Chase reached into this backpack and pulled out a Heal Ball that he digitized out of his Diamond game. “Capture Kirlia in this. It’ll fully heal Kirlia once you do.” Lucas took a look at the Heal Ball then refused it.
Lucas: “Ew, it’s pink! I’m not a girl. No way I’m keeping Kirlia in a pink pokeball.”
AJ: “Lucas, if you don’t, Kirlia will not recover.”
Lucas: “OK, but I’m releasing Kirlia after that so I don’t have to carry that pink thing around with me.” Lucas took the Heal ball and tapped Kirlia with it. Kirlia went into the Heal ball and became captured. Seconds later, Lucas released Kirlia from the Heal Ball and threw it away. Kirlia seemed have recovered, but not by much.
Chase: “See Lucas. Kirlia’s feeling better now.”
Lucas: “Thanks Chase, but next time I’m catching Kirlia in a regular pokeball.”
Vik: “Ok dudes, let’s get out of here already.”
Lucas: “Right! Spiny, you should get back into your pokeball.” Lucas recalls Spiny and then Climbs aboard Arcanine while still holding Kirlia in his arms. They leave the haunting room. It was in the middle of the corridor where the group was ambushed. Darkrai had reappeared. Shade was standing at the corridors entrance to the base’s main room.
Shade: “I’ve been expecting your return… Skyler. Darkrai, use Dark Void!” The whole group was being shrouded in a dark aura. Kirlia quickly reacted. It used teleport but only had enough energy to save Lucas. Lucas and Kirlia found themselves in the cafeteria.
Lucas: “Kirlia, you saved us again.” Lucas took a quick look around and then realized that “us” meant him and Kirlia.
Kirlia (telepathically): Sorry Lucas, but I was only strong enough to save you.
Lucas: “You mean I have to save my brother from that bad guy by myself? Oh no.” Lucas became so overwhelmed by the fact that he was alone in a place with nothing but nightmares that he started to cry. Kirlia tried to calm him down and soon he reduced his crying to sniffling.
Kirlia (telepathically): We can do this. Remember, when your brother was possessed you still beat his Salamance and Blaziken. Lucas calmed down a bit more then gathered his courage.
Lucas: “OK then. Let’s do this. Spiny and Machop, come on out!” Spiny and Machop came out of their pokeballs and readied themselves for battle. Then Kirlia scanned the base with its synchronize ability and listened for Shade’s thoughts. Once it found him, they teleported to what could be Lucas’s most intense battle of his young life.

Chase: “Then that’s how we’ll find him. Staraptor, thanks for helping. Now it’s Arcanine’s turn!” Staraptor was recalled back into Chase’s Diamond game and Arcanine took its place in the real world. Chase always relied on Arcanine for searchng for anyone.
AJ: “Arcanine, please pick up Spiny’s scent and see if you can lead us to it and my brother.” Arcanine sniffed around for the scent of a Nidorino and then ran into the base.
Chase: “Good job Arcanine. Figures he went in here.” The inside of the base was filled with hardened magma from Groudon’s Eruption attack. The ceiling had a huge gaping hole in it from the time Vik used Earthquake on it to break in. The electricity was also shut off. None of the lights or computers worked. Arcanine continued to sniff around for Spiny’s scent. By now, they’ve been searching for Lucas for two hours. Soon they came to a rockslide blocking a corridor. Lucas and Spiny were obviously on the other side.
AJ: “Oh no, Team Chaos better not be behind this if they know what’s good for them.”
Chase: “Here, I know how to clear this. Aggron, come on out!” Chase released his Shiny Aggron. It gave out a roar as it appeared. Vik heard it and saw Shiny Aggron. He had his Zapdos land inside the base thinking that the others found something. AJ’s Salamence followed Vik inside.
Vik: “Lucas went this way?”
Chase: “Yeah, Arcanine’s been following a scent trail up to this rockslide. Now everyone stand back. Aggron, use Metal Burst to clear that pile of rocks!” With one swift blow, Shiny Aggron cleared the rockslide. Rocks flew everywhere from the impact of the blow. “Nice job Aggron, now return.”
Vik: “Zapdos, you return too.”
AJ: “Salamence, Return!” The three boys recalled their pokemon except for Arcanine. The tunnel up ahead was filled with hardened magma. This was one of the last places Chase and Vik wanted to be since it led them to where their first encounter with Xero was. As for AJ, he hoped that he would find his brother and the rest of his memory. He remembered what the Darkrai’s nightmare had showed him. A room in this base. There was a computer that still had power. Jason was there but AJ couldn’t remember who he was.
Chase: “Hey AJ, you seem pretty quiet. Everything OK?” AJ just kept thinking of the vision he was shown. He didn’t say a word. Meanwhile, Lucas reached the room where the battle with Xero took place three months ago.
Lucas: “Why did we have to come here Spiny? This place is creepy.” Spiny gave a few cries of concern then pointed its horn in the direction of a pokemon asleep on in a corner of the room. Lucas recognized it.
Kirlia (telepathically): You came! Lucas ran over to where it laid.
Lucas: “Kirlia? You called me here? I thought you sacrificed yourself and that bad guy destroyed you.” Spiny looked at Kirlia. Then it licked it to show that it was happy to see it again. Lucas picked up Kirlia and held it in his arms. Kirlia was extremely weak.
Kirlia (telepathically): I managed to teleport away from that bad guy, but Groudon’s Eruption trapped me here and I was too weak to leave this terrible place. I never thought you’d come back. Then I heard your thoughts last night and used up whatever energy I had left to call you using my synchronize ability.
Lucas: “So it was you making all those noises that Spiny could hear.” Kirlia nodded.
Kirlia (telepathically): There’s something else. Someone else is here. He’s going to set a trap. I read his mind. You and your friends need to get out of here. Kirlia could’ve told Lucas more, but it was using so much energy to talk to Lucas with its synchronize ability that it passed out. Not long after that, Arcanine came into the room and barked. Lucas turned around; still hold Kirlia in his arms.
AJ: “Lucas, oh man thank god you’re alright.” AJ, Vik, and Chase ran up to him and saw the injured Kirlia in his arms.
Chase: “Were you battling Kirlia and trying to catch it?”
Lucas: “No! Kirlia’s been living on this base for three months. It told me that it never recovered from teleporting us out of here last time. Not only that, but someone else is here!”
Vik: “Figures. It must be one of the Team Chaos Admins that's also here.”
Lucas: “We got to go, but I can’t leave Kirlia here by itself again!”
Chase: “Relax Lucas, I got just the thing.” Chase reached into this backpack and pulled out a Heal Ball that he digitized out of his Diamond game. “Capture Kirlia in this. It’ll fully heal Kirlia once you do.” Lucas took a look at the Heal Ball then refused it.
Lucas: “Ew, it’s pink! I’m not a girl. No way I’m keeping Kirlia in a pink pokeball.”
AJ: “Lucas, if you don’t, Kirlia will not recover.”
Lucas: “OK, but I’m releasing Kirlia after that so I don’t have to carry that pink thing around with me.” Lucas took the Heal ball and tapped Kirlia with it. Kirlia went into the Heal ball and became captured. Seconds later, Lucas released Kirlia from the Heal Ball and threw it away. Kirlia seemed have recovered, but not by much.
Chase: “See Lucas. Kirlia’s feeling better now.”
Lucas: “Thanks Chase, but next time I’m catching Kirlia in a regular pokeball.”
Vik: “Ok dudes, let’s get out of here already.”
Lucas: “Right! Spiny, you should get back into your pokeball.” Lucas recalls Spiny and then Climbs aboard Arcanine while still holding Kirlia in his arms. They leave the haunting room. It was in the middle of the corridor where the group was ambushed. Darkrai had reappeared. Shade was standing at the corridors entrance to the base’s main room.
Shade: “I’ve been expecting your return… Skyler. Darkrai, use Dark Void!” The whole group was being shrouded in a dark aura. Kirlia quickly reacted. It used teleport but only had enough energy to save Lucas. Lucas and Kirlia found themselves in the cafeteria.
Lucas: “Kirlia, you saved us again.” Lucas took a quick look around and then realized that “us” meant him and Kirlia.
Kirlia (telepathically): Sorry Lucas, but I was only strong enough to save you.
Lucas: “You mean I have to save my brother from that bad guy by myself? Oh no.” Lucas became so overwhelmed by the fact that he was alone in a place with nothing but nightmares that he started to cry. Kirlia tried to calm him down and soon he reduced his crying to sniffling.
Kirlia (telepathically): We can do this. Remember, when your brother was possessed you still beat his Salamance and Blaziken. Lucas calmed down a bit more then gathered his courage.
Lucas: “OK then. Let’s do this. Spiny and Machop, come on out!” Spiny and Machop came out of their pokeballs and readied themselves for battle. Then Kirlia scanned the base with its synchronize ability and listened for Shade’s thoughts. Once it found him, they teleported to what could be Lucas’s most intense battle of his young life.

I hope Lucas learns his lesson, that pink is not just for girls! If he didn't have such a pink phobia his Kirlia would be healthier and may have saved his friends too.

It happened again. I type up a chapter, it becomes insanely long, and then I decided to shop it in half and give on e part a new title. Anyway, I'm pleased to announce that chapter 11 will have then next guest character from a pokegym member. Who gets to have their character appear next. CHeck the updated character list in my first post and see.
The next new chapter won't be up until the end of this month at the latest. Until then, enjoy these new exciting and unveiling chapters.

Chase: “I should’ve known you’d be here! Now what is it that you want with us this time?” Chase and Vik were in a conference room inside the base. They were each tied to a chair by Ariados’ String Shot attack. However, they both noticed that something was different about Shade this time. Shade kept on interrogating the two of them while his Darkrai had taken AJ somewhere else in the base.
Shade: “I’ll ask one more time. How did you obtain a Chaos Driver? Why are you two travelling across the country? Most important, who told you to come here?” Chase stayed silent for a moment. He wasn’t sure if he should tell him that it was Gwen who had betrayed Team Chaos once again. He knew that they needed Gwen’s help to solve the worldwide wild pokemon problem.
Chase: “We were just in the neighbourhood. Lucas wondered into this base so we came in here looking for him.”
Vik: “We got our pokeradar from one of the other Team Chaos members. It’s amazing what you losers bet these days, especially when they know they’ll lose.” Shade could tell Vik was lying.
Shade: “Maybe I need to make my point more clear. Tell me what I want to know or I’ll rip it out of you! You’ve experienced Dark Void attack before, but I assure you Darkrai can make any experience worse than you can imagine.” Chase shuddered at the thought of that. He remembered the nightmares he had from Darkrai’s attacks as well as how painful a Dream Eater attack can be. Soon Chase realized he had no choice.
Chase: “Gwen told me to come here on a mission. She told us to find anything here that would help us figure out what has caused so many wild pokemon to appear in my time. She also gave us the Chaos Driver.”
Shade: “Now we’re getting somewhere.”
Vik: “Alright, we answered your question so now it’s your turn. Where’s AJ and what are you having Darkrai do to him?”
Shade: “Let me just say I’m here on a mission just like you are. Team Chaos has lost some valuable information when Skyler was lost, so I’m here to retrieve it.”
Vik: “I have a bad feeling about this.”
Chase: “You can’t do that! Skyler is not who you think he is. He’s true identity is my best friend AJ and he knows who he is. Thanks to you and your fellow Admins he has amnesia and no matter how you hack his mind you won’t find anything. His memory of his days as Skyler are long gone.”
Shade: “Shut up! I’m only here to follow orders and take back what was stolen from Team Chaos! Ariados, use Poison Jab to numb the both of them!” Ariados begins to crawl across the table toward Vik and Chase. With their hands tied behind their backs they couldn’t reach their Elite Balls. At that moment, Lucas appeared with Kirlia, Spiny, and Machop. Lucas saw the Ariados with its rear end glowing a bright purple and recognize the Poison Jab attack.
Lucas: “Machop, use Mega Punch on Ariados! Spiny, use your horn to cut the threads on Vik and Chase!” Lucas’s two pokemon spring into action. First, Machop lands a Mega Punch that blows Ariados away. Then Spiny cuts Chase and Vik free. Shade reacts by recalling Ariados into his Elite Ball and then retreats. He’d spent too much time in the past and had to get AJ back to the future. Meanwhile, Chase and Vik recuperate from what just happened.
Chase: “Lucas, you and your pokemon ok?”
Vik: “It’s a good thing you showed up in the nick of time. I’ve seen what Croagunk does to brock to I’d hate to find out what an Ariados’s Poison Jab would do to us.”
Lucas: “We’re ok, but where’s AJ?”
Chase: “I don’t know. He could be anywhere in this base and we need to find a way to tract him and Shade down.”
Vik: “Dude, we have that pokeradar that tracks pokemon in control of the Elite ball. If he’s still using that Darkrai then we still have a chance.” Chase searches his backpack for a second and then pulls out the chaos driver. Once he turned it on, two red dots and a yellow dot appeared toward the center of the screen. The red dots were Spiny and Machop and since Lucas had released Kirlia from the Heal Ball it showed up as a wild pokemon on the radar. Then there was another red dot toward the left edge of the screen. That must’ve been Darkrai.
Lucas: “So that’s where the bad guy’s hiding?”
Vik: “Let’s go and hopefully while we’re at it we can convince him not to mess with us any more.”
Chase: “Wait, if Shade has one of these radars as well, then he can track us using Lucas’s pokemon. You’ll have to recall them and recapture Kirlia, Lucas.”
Lucas: “Fine. Spiny and Machop, time to return but we’ll be battling real soon, so be ready.” Lucas’s two pokemon nod as they are recalled back into their pokeballs.
Kirlia (telepathically): Lucas, before you capture me I want you to know something. I can hear your brothers thoughts and it’s not something you want to hear. My Synchronize ability will let you hear his thoughts but you may not like it. Lucas was determined to help his brother with his memory problems, and at that moment he knew Kirlia’s Synchronize would be the best way to solve AJ’s amnesia problems.
Lucas: “OK Kirlia, but I also want my friends to hear my brother’s thoughts as well.” Kirlia nods and then starts to glow blue all over its body. Then the area is distorted and the three boys find themselves in a dark area with no light what so ever. Then there was a voice, AJ’s voice, speaking and echoing all around.
AJ’s thoughts: This place… this pain… so familiar. Where is everybody? Just then there’s a face. It was a man’s face who looked in his late forties, had a thin moustache, a slightly wrinkled forehead, and his hair was more grey than it was brown. He looked familiar though, but Chase and Vik couldn’t remember who he resembled.
Commander Serph: “Greetings Skyler. I’m Commander Serph. I’ll be your trainer for today. I welcome you to Team Chaos.”
AJ’s thoughts: These memories… they aren’t mine… and yet… so familiar… The scene changed as AJ looked in the mirror. His hair was cut shorter than it normally was and dyed brown. He was also wearing the blue Team Chaos Admin uniform.
Vik: “Darkrai must be finding AJ’s lost memories as Skyler and using them to Brainwash AJ again.”
Chase: “I don’t think Darkrai’s brainwashing AJ yet. Just listen to AJ’s thoughts. ‘This time, this place, so familiar.’ AJ is still himself, but something about this still doesn’t seem right.” The group looks up and they see Darkrai’s eyes. It looked like the eyes were searching for something. Soon the vision changed again. It was an email with an order. The subject read “backup plan” and the it was from the email address worlds_end@gmail .com. Chase, Vik, and Lucas started to read the email.
To Skyler and friends
The God pokemon project is due to backfire and I fear for the worst. Jason will brainwash you again, but he can’t erase your memory. If you read this email then there’s still hope. I will travel trough time and release millions of wild pokemon on earth. This will throw TC in for a loop and slow them down. Skyler, after Jason brainwashes you again you won’t remember reading this but since Hypno can’t erase your memory-
The vision stopped after that. Kirlia had passed out from using so much energy to have everyone see AJ’s thoughts.
Chase: “Lucas, I think Kirlia should rest in a pokeball now.”
Lucas: “OK, as long as it’s not that pink one.” Chase hands Lucas a regular pokeball. Lucas taps it against Kirlia and recaptures it. “Take a nice rest Kirlia. You deserve it.”
Vik: “Chase, did you see that email?”
Chase: “Yeah, whoever has the email address Worlds_end@gmial .com is the one who released all the wild pokemon in our time. This was planned from the very beginning, before I got my own cartridge ball.” Chase takes a minute to find a piece of paper and a pencil and then he writes down the email address with a note saying that that’s the person they’re looking for.
Vik: “Dude, I wonder why Darkrai was looking at the email as well.”
Chase: “Gwen said that Team Chaos doesn’t know who released the wild pokemon either. I bet Jason told Shade that AJ’s been brainwashed more than once. No wonder he has amnesia about the past couple years.”
Lucas: “Guys, my brother still needs to be rescued.”
Chase: “Hold on Lucas, I just realized that there was something else weird about that email. It was address to Skyler and friends. It’s as if the writer of that email knew one of us would eventually read it.”
Vik: “That is weird. Who in the future knows about us?”
Lucas: “Chase! Sometime before AJ turns into a bad guy again would be nice!” Lucas was becoming very impatient and worried about his brother. Chase takes another look at the radar and Darkrai’s dot was still on the edge of the screen.
Chase: “OK, let’s go.” They leave the conference room and then head down the hall. The hallway also had some hardened magma in it. Soon there was a build up of hardened magma that blocked their way.
Lucas: “Spiny, punch through the rock wall with Horn Drill!” Lucas throws his pokeball and Spiny comes out. It tries to drill though the rock wall but it was no use.
Chase: “Let’s try Aggron again. Use Metal Burst!” Chase threw his Elite ball and Shiny Aggron appeared and punched the rock wall. It managed to make a huge dent but it appeared that the build up was very deep. The hole that Aggron made was at least two feet in. There was no telling how much they had to dig through. Then the situation became worse. A portal opened behind them Jason had emerged from it.
Chase: “Jason? What are you doing here?” Jason’s Celebi also emerged from the portal. He recalled it back into his Elite ball and the portal disappeared.
Jason: “I only have one thing on my mind right now, and that thing is revenged!” Jason gripped the Elite ball in his hand. Chase and Vik also grabbed their Elite Balls.
Chase: “Lucas, you go with your Kirlia. You’re the only one who can save AJ now.”
Vik: “We’ll take care of Jason. You just show Shade what you can do.”
Lucas: “But what if I can’t do it. After all, Vik said that I mess things up.”
Chase: “If we think you’ll mess up then why did we come looking for you in the first place? AJ needs you and your pokemon believe in you.”
Jason: “Are we done talking yet? Mewtwo and Regigigas, prepare for battle!”
Vik: “Tyranitar…”
Chase: “Yanmega…”
Chase and Vik: “Let’s get ‘em!” Lucas didn’t waste anytime either.
Lucas: “Let’s go Kirlia! We can’t let Shade get away.” Kirlia nodded and then they teleported away. Meanwhile, Shade used Darkrai to look into AJ’s head.
Shade: “Come on Darkrai, keep looking for what we need.” Darkrai showed Shade one more vision that Vik, Lucas, and Chase didn’t get to see. The setting this time was somewhere in the base right before Chase and Vik had invaded it three months before. Jason was telling AJ something while he was still brainwashed into thinking he was Skyler, a Team Chaos Admin along with Shade. This must’ve been while Shade was also hypnotized sometime before his Darkrai had snapped him out of it.
Jason: “Skyler, you are no longer the leader of Team Chaos. You’ll follow only my orders. As for you Shade, I no longer need you since you’re expendable. My plan in almost into fruition and when the God Pokemon Project succeeds here in the past, I’ll rule this world. You and Shade will be eradicated along with that pesky kid Chase and his other friends. Whoever planned on stopping me in the future hasn’t even tried yet. I have nothing to fear. Now, go out there and don’t let Chase or any of his friends get inside the base.”
This showed Shade that Jason knew more then he led on. Shade knew that someone had threatened Team Chaos that they’d stop them. Shade had also seen the email from worlds_end@gmail .com,except he was able to read the entire email while the others didn’t. Shade knew more than anyone else but he still didn’t know enough.
Shade: “Darkrai, can you find anymore memories that will help us with our wild pokemon mystery?” At that moment Lucas teleported into the room where Shade had been hiding.
Lucas: “Let my brother go right now or you’ll be sorry!”
Shade: “You’re that pesky brat. I’ll let your brother go when I’m done with him. Darkrai, get back to work. Use Dark Void.”
Lucas: “Kirlia, use Disable. Don’t let Darkrai brainwash my brother again!” Kirlia was able to stop Darkrai right in its tracks. Now Shade was really ticked off.
Shade: “Alright, I tried to go easy on you, but you’ve pushed me to my breaking point!” Lucas didn’t back down one bit. He knew what was at stake but he wouldn’t let Shade see his fear, or Shade would use it against him.
Lucas stared at Shade for a moment, trying to hide his nervousness. He thought of this more of the bottom of the ninth at a little league game with two outs. One mistake is all it would take for Shade to walk away with AJ and whatever secretes are in his mind. Shade threw his Elite ball and released his pokemon.
Shade: “Rhyperior, action time! Darkrai, you’ll battle as well!” Rhyperior appeared from the Elite Ball and Darkrai also appeared. Kirlia looked at Lucas and then sent him a telepathic message.
Kirlia (telepathically): I can return your brother to normal. Let your other pokemon take care of them. Lucas nodded and then threw his other two pokeballs.
Lucas: “Machop and Spiny, get ready for battle!” Lucas’ two pokemon were released and they gave out cries showing that they were ready for battle. “I know you two can do this! Spiny, use Poison Jab on Darkrai. Machop, use Dynamic Punch on Rhyperior!” Shade: “Darkria, use Night Shade to push Nidorino back. Rhyperior, use Rock Cannon to block Machop!” Both of Shade’s pokemon were able to fire two perfect counter attacks that completely immobilized both of Lucas’s pokemon. Spiny was pushed away by the powerful Night Shade attack and Rhyperior’s Rock Cannon produced a boulder that was too huge for Machop to lift or shatter with its Dynamic Punch. Rhyperior hid behind the boulder as it recharged.
Lucas: “Team Work guys. Machop, Dynamic Punch! Spiny, Horn Drill!” Spiny and Machop were able to leave huge cracks in the boulder this time. As they attempted to smash the boulder, Kirlia used its Disable attack on AJ to stop his nightmares. Then it used its Synchronize ability so AJ would have an easier time remembering who he was. Shade was not about to let Lucas succeed.
Shade: “Rhyperior, show those pipsqueaks a real Horn Drill!” Rhyperior charges through the boulder as it shatters to pieces. Then Spiny is hit by Phyperior’s Horn Drill and is OHKO’d. Kirlia noticed what had happened and awakened AJ. Surely enough, he did wake up and was still his normal self but he still had the same amnesia problem.
AJ: “A Kirlia? Wow, you seem familiar… as if I’ve met you before.”
Kirlia (telepathicall): No time to explain. I need to help your brother. Kirlia teleported to Lucas’ side to take Machop’s place. That’s when AJ noticed there was a battle going on. Just like Kirlia, Shade seemed familiar to him but he couldn’t figure out where he had seen the Team Chaos Admin before. Then he inspected the pokemon and saw the disadvantage Lucas had.
AJ: “Lucas what are you doing? You’re going to lose!”
Lucas: “I’m fighting for you big bro.” AJ reached into his pocket and grabbed his Elite Ball.
AJ: “Well let me take over before this Team Chaos jerk takes over your mind.”
Shade: “Sorry, no substitutions allowed.”
Lucas: “Don’t you believe in me anymore big bro?” AJ realized he had no choice but to watch the battle.
AJ: “You can do it Lucas.” Lucas smiled and nodded at his brother. Elsewhere in the base, another battle was taking place.
Jason: “Chase, I have a bone to pick with you, but I’ll explain everything once I’ve hypnotized you and your friends. Mewtwo, use Psychic! Regigigas, use Drain Punch on Tyranitar!” Chase and Vik were ready for this. They’ve battled each other so many times that they knew each other’s combinations by heart. That was one of the benefits for being each other’s top rival.
Chase: “Yanmega, use Detect to Dodge!”
Vik: “Tyranitar, Stone Edge attack on Mewtwo!” The Psychic attack had affected neither Tyranitar nor Yanmega. Regigagas’ Slow Start Ability was making it move in slow Motion. Tyranitar was able to dodge the Drain Punch with ease then performed a Stone Edge attack on Mewtwo, but it missed Mewtwo. The first round of attacks ended in a stalemate.
Jason: “Finish Tyranitar with one Aura Sphere!”
Chase: “Not so fast. Yanmega, use Bug Buzz!” Yanmega moved so quickly that it seemed more like it teleported in front of Mewtwo. Then it generated a huge shockwave with its Bug Buzz attack and knocked Mewtwo down.
Jason: “That Yanmega has the Speed Boost ability. That’s why it attacked before Mewtwo, and also why Chase had it use Detect in the first place. Regigigas, use Crush Grip. Squash that bug!” Like Yanmega, Regigigas was also beginning to move faster, but not fast enough. Yanmega was too fast for it. Jason was becoming frustrated.
Vik: “Tyranitar, use Crunch to finish off Mewtwo!” Tyranitar moved in for a direct attack. Mewtwo quickly recovered from the Bug Buzz and then fired an Aura Sphere. It was a direct hit and Tyranitar was hit hard, but Vik was prepared for it. Tyranitar quickly ate the Chopple Berry Vik gave it while it was still in his Pearl Game. The Aura Sphere would’ve knocked it out in one shot, but Vik was too smart to fall for a trick like that. Tyranitar landed a crunch attack on Mewtwo and it was down for the count.
Jason: “I’m not giving in that easily. Regigigas, use Drain Punch and Mewtwo, use Ice Beam to stop Yanmega!” Mewtwo fired an array of Ice Beams and Yanmega was hit by one beam and slowed down by the ice that formed on its wings.
Chase: “Yanmega, use another Detect!”
Jason: “I’m sorry, but you’ve already failed. Regigigas, use Crush Grip to finish off Yanmega!” Yanmega’s Detect attack only boosted its ability to dodge in the real world, unlike in the game where it just protected itself. Regigigas was able to land a Crush Grip attack on Yanmega which was enough to KO it.
Vik: “You left your Mewtwo defenceless. Tyranitar, use Earthquake!” Tyranitar triggered an earthquake that was strong enough to KO Mewtwo and reduce more of Regigigas’ health. Jason recalled his Mewtwo but wasn’t too worried about the battle now that Regigigas’ Slow Start had worn off. Now the battle had reached its critical stage. Chase could only watch now as their fate was in Vik’s hands. However he still wondered about Lucas and AJ. They were in one of the battle arenas in the base locked in a battle with Shade.
Shade: “Darkria, use Dark Void to put them both to sleep!”
Lucas: “Kirlia, use Teleport so the attack won’t work on you or Machop!” Lucas had seen Shade’s tactics before and was ready for them. Kirlia managed to teleport itself and Machop away from the Dark Void’s range.
AJ: “Nice going Lucas.”
Lucas: “Now watch this. Machop, use Dynamic Punch on Darkrai! Kirlia, use Magical Leaf on Rhyperior!”
Shade: “You both can take these attacks.” Shade’s Darkrai just levitated there as the Dynamic Punch attack hit it hard. It was powerful enough to Confuse Darkrai. Then Rhyperior is hit by Kirlia’s Magical Leaf, but Shade wasn’t worried since it had the Hard Rock ability. However, Rhyperior was still weakening. That was because Spiny’s Poison Point ability had poisoned it when the Horn Drill attack hit it.
Lucas: “It worked. Darkai’s confused and Rhyperior will lose since it’s poisoned.”
AJ: “Great job little bro, but you need to keep your guard up.”
Shade: “You should listen to your brother. Darkrai, use Dark Void!” Despite its confusion, Darkrai used its Dark Void attack and that’s when Lucas realized that he had fallen into Shade’s trap. Machop fell victim to Darkrai’s spell. “Now use Dream Eater!”
Lucas: “Kirlia, help Machop!”
Kirlia (telepathically): It’s too late. Machop had all of its strength drained from Dream Eater. Machop could no longer continue battling. Now the situation was pretty grim.
Shade: “Rhyperior, use Rock Cannon on Kirlia!” Kirlia sensed the Rock Cannon and tried to dodge. The Boulder landed pretty close but the shockwave of the impact threw Kirlia back into Lucas’ arms. Lucas fell backwards as he caught Kirlia. His backpack fell over when he landed and the blue rock fell out of it.
Lucas: “Are you OK, Kirlia?” Kirlia looked at the rock for a second.
Kirlia (telepathically): Lucas, what’s that? Lucas saw the rock that Zach and Katie had given him.
Lucas: “It’s a rock for good luck that my friends gave me. Isn’t it cool?” That’s when Lucas thought of his friends Zach and Katie and then he realized how many people had believed in him from the start. His parents, Zach, Katie, Chase, AJ, and even Vik. He was never a trouble maker and he really did help even when it didn’t seem like it at the time. This feeling gave Lucas new courage and Kirlia could feel it with its Synchronize ability. It used it’s Confusion attack to levitate the rock and then it grabbed onto it.
Kirlia (telepathically): I can feel your friends Lucas. I can feel your courage and your determination. This is for your friends and family. Lucas felt a new feeling inside of him as well. It was something he never felt before but he knew that Kirlia had used its Synchronize to make his mind one with it. Then the rock along with Kirlia started glowing. Lucas didn’t know it but Zach and Katie had given him a Dawn Stone and it was causing Kirlia to evolve.
Shade: “What? How is this happening?”
AJ: “You don’t get it, do you Shade?”
Shade: “You actually remember who I am?”
AJ: “Kirlia had helped me remember a few things as well. My brother has more power and strength than anyone thought because of his friends and family. He’s not just a little kid anymore.” Lucas took a step back as Kirlia continued its evolution. He knew Kirlia was evolving and he could feel it becoming stronger as it changed form. Soon it stopped glowing and had evolved into a Gallade. Gallade didn’t have the Synchronize ability anymore, but Lucas could still sense its thoughts and the same went for Gallade.
Lucas: “Shade, you better not bother us again! Go Gallade, show them what you can do!” Both of the swords on Gallade’s arms glowed a bright blue, and then it performed a Psycho Cut attack and sliced the boulder from the Rock Cannon attack. Not only that, but the Psycho Cut also hit Rhyperior with a Critical Hit.
Shade: “I won’t be beaten by a kid again! Darkrai, use Dark Void!” Lucas remained calm and Gallade was able to do the same. Human and Pokemon had become one and the power it was forming was incredible. AJ and Shade watched was Gallade used a Disable attack to completely immobilize Darkrai. After that Gallade teleported right next to Darkrai.
Lucas: “Let ‘em have it, Gallade!” Gallade swung its left arm as it glowed green. It swapped the Magical Leaf attack for a Leaf Blade and Darkrai was hit hard once again.
Shade: “Rhyperior, use Horn Drill to finish it off.”
Lucas: “Teleport, then Leaf Blade again!” Gallade did just that and the Leaf Blade was strong enough to defeat Rhyperior. The Poison had drained the last of Rhyperior’s health and Shade was forced to call it back.
Shade: “Darkrai, use Night Shade!”
Lucas (thinking): Gallade, look out behind you! Gallade heard Lucas’ thoughts and then used a Psycho Cut attack to deflect the Night Shade, however doing so left it weak. Darkrai was also weak as well.
Shade: “Darkrai, use Dark Pulse!”
Lucas: “You can do it, Gallade! Leaf Blade!” Darkrai fired a wave of darkness for its attack while Gallade made its right sword glow green. Just before the Dark Pulse hits, it Teleports out of the way and next to Darkrai. Finally, it delivers the final blow and Darkrai is KO’d by a critical hit. Shade had lost to Lucas once again. Gallade and Lucas both stared at Shade and stood by for anything sneaky he’d tried to pull off.
Shade: “So I lost again, dig deal. Darkria, return!” Darkrai was recalled into Shade’s Elite Ball and into his Diamond game. Shade left quietly after that. He may not have gotten what he came for, but now he knew enough.
AJ: “Lucas, that was incredible. You and Gallade rocked!”
Lucas: “Thanks big bro. Gallade, you are the coolest pokemon ever. I know you don’t have Synchronize anymore, but you’ll still be a valuable friend on our team. Go ahead and get back in your pokeball.” Gallade nodded and was recalled back into it’s pokeball.
AJ: “Your Gallade is one tough fighter. By the way, where’s everyone else?”
Lucas: “Oh no, one of the other bad guys is battling them right now. But I need to heal Spiny and Machop.”
AJ: “Here, I’ll heal them.” Lucas released his injured pokemon and AJ gave them each a Max Revive. Soon all of Lucas’ pokemon were in tip top shape and ready for battle.
Lucas: “So now what do we do?”
AJ: “I remember something very important, but we got to find Chase and Vik first. There’s something we all should know, and not just me.” They ran out into the hallway and toward where the battle with Jason was taking place. AJ also knew everything they needed to know thanks to Kirlia. But now that Kirlia had evolved into Gallade and lost the Synchronize ability, it could no longer help AJ remember anything else. The mystery was becoming clearer to AJ, but it was also becoming more dangerous and puzzling with each step.

It happened again. I type up a chapter, it becomes insanely long, and then I decided to shop it in half and give on e part a new title. Anyway, I'm pleased to announce that chapter 11 will have then next guest character from a pokegym member. Who gets to have their character appear next. CHeck the updated character list in my first post and see.

Chapter 9: Visions of Darkness
Chase: “I should’ve known you’d be here! Now what is it that you want with us this time?” Chase and Vik were in a conference room inside the base. They were each tied to a chair by Ariados’ String Shot attack. However, they both noticed that something was different about Shade this time. Shade kept on interrogating the two of them while his Darkrai had taken AJ somewhere else in the base.
Shade: “I’ll ask one more time. How did you obtain a Chaos Driver? Why are you two travelling across the country? Most important, who told you to come here?” Chase stayed silent for a moment. He wasn’t sure if he should tell him that it was Gwen who had betrayed Team Chaos once again. He knew that they needed Gwen’s help to solve the worldwide wild pokemon problem.
Chase: “We were just in the neighbourhood. Lucas wondered into this base so we came in here looking for him.”
Vik: “We got our pokeradar from one of the other Team Chaos members. It’s amazing what you losers bet these days, especially when they know they’ll lose.” Shade could tell Vik was lying.
Shade: “Maybe I need to make my point more clear. Tell me what I want to know or I’ll rip it out of you! You’ve experienced Dark Void attack before, but I assure you Darkrai can make any experience worse than you can imagine.” Chase shuddered at the thought of that. He remembered the nightmares he had from Darkrai’s attacks as well as how painful a Dream Eater attack can be. Soon Chase realized he had no choice.
Chase: “Gwen told me to come here on a mission. She told us to find anything here that would help us figure out what has caused so many wild pokemon to appear in my time. She also gave us the Chaos Driver.”
Shade: “Now we’re getting somewhere.”
Vik: “Alright, we answered your question so now it’s your turn. Where’s AJ and what are you having Darkrai do to him?”
Shade: “Let me just say I’m here on a mission just like you are. Team Chaos has lost some valuable information when Skyler was lost, so I’m here to retrieve it.”
Vik: “I have a bad feeling about this.”
Chase: “You can’t do that! Skyler is not who you think he is. He’s true identity is my best friend AJ and he knows who he is. Thanks to you and your fellow Admins he has amnesia and no matter how you hack his mind you won’t find anything. His memory of his days as Skyler are long gone.”
Shade: “Shut up! I’m only here to follow orders and take back what was stolen from Team Chaos! Ariados, use Poison Jab to numb the both of them!” Ariados begins to crawl across the table toward Vik and Chase. With their hands tied behind their backs they couldn’t reach their Elite Balls. At that moment, Lucas appeared with Kirlia, Spiny, and Machop. Lucas saw the Ariados with its rear end glowing a bright purple and recognize the Poison Jab attack.
Lucas: “Machop, use Mega Punch on Ariados! Spiny, use your horn to cut the threads on Vik and Chase!” Lucas’s two pokemon spring into action. First, Machop lands a Mega Punch that blows Ariados away. Then Spiny cuts Chase and Vik free. Shade reacts by recalling Ariados into his Elite Ball and then retreats. He’d spent too much time in the past and had to get AJ back to the future. Meanwhile, Chase and Vik recuperate from what just happened.
Chase: “Lucas, you and your pokemon ok?”
Vik: “It’s a good thing you showed up in the nick of time. I’ve seen what Croagunk does to brock to I’d hate to find out what an Ariados’s Poison Jab would do to us.”
Lucas: “We’re ok, but where’s AJ?”
Chase: “I don’t know. He could be anywhere in this base and we need to find a way to tract him and Shade down.”
Vik: “Dude, we have that pokeradar that tracks pokemon in control of the Elite ball. If he’s still using that Darkrai then we still have a chance.” Chase searches his backpack for a second and then pulls out the chaos driver. Once he turned it on, two red dots and a yellow dot appeared toward the center of the screen. The red dots were Spiny and Machop and since Lucas had released Kirlia from the Heal Ball it showed up as a wild pokemon on the radar. Then there was another red dot toward the left edge of the screen. That must’ve been Darkrai.
Lucas: “So that’s where the bad guy’s hiding?”
Vik: “Let’s go and hopefully while we’re at it we can convince him not to mess with us any more.”
Chase: “Wait, if Shade has one of these radars as well, then he can track us using Lucas’s pokemon. You’ll have to recall them and recapture Kirlia, Lucas.”
Lucas: “Fine. Spiny and Machop, time to return but we’ll be battling real soon, so be ready.” Lucas’s two pokemon nod as they are recalled back into their pokeballs.
Kirlia (telepathically): Lucas, before you capture me I want you to know something. I can hear your brothers thoughts and it’s not something you want to hear. My Synchronize ability will let you hear his thoughts but you may not like it. Lucas was determined to help his brother with his memory problems, and at that moment he knew Kirlia’s Synchronize would be the best way to solve AJ’s amnesia problems.
Lucas: “OK Kirlia, but I also want my friends to hear my brother’s thoughts as well.” Kirlia nods and then starts to glow blue all over its body. Then the area is distorted and the three boys find themselves in a dark area with no light what so ever. Then there was a voice, AJ’s voice, speaking and echoing all around.
AJ’s thoughts: This place… this pain… so familiar. Where is everybody? Just then there’s a face. It was a man’s face who looked in his late forties, had a thin moustache, a slightly wrinkled forehead, and his hair was more grey than it was brown. He looked familiar though, but Chase and Vik couldn’t remember who he resembled.
Commander Serph: “Greetings Skyler. I’m Commander Serph. I’ll be your trainer for today. I welcome you to Team Chaos.”
AJ’s thoughts: These memories… they aren’t mine… and yet… so familiar… The scene changed as AJ looked in the mirror. His hair was cut shorter than it normally was and dyed brown. He was also wearing the blue Team Chaos Admin uniform.
Vik: “Darkrai must be finding AJ’s lost memories as Skyler and using them to Brainwash AJ again.”
Chase: “I don’t think Darkrai’s brainwashing AJ yet. Just listen to AJ’s thoughts. ‘This time, this place, so familiar.’ AJ is still himself, but something about this still doesn’t seem right.” The group looks up and they see Darkrai’s eyes. It looked like the eyes were searching for something. Soon the vision changed again. It was an email with an order. The subject read “backup plan” and the it was from the email address worlds_end@gmail .com. Chase, Vik, and Lucas started to read the email.
To Skyler and friends
The God pokemon project is due to backfire and I fear for the worst. Jason will brainwash you again, but he can’t erase your memory. If you read this email then there’s still hope. I will travel trough time and release millions of wild pokemon on earth. This will throw TC in for a loop and slow them down. Skyler, after Jason brainwashes you again you won’t remember reading this but since Hypno can’t erase your memory-
The vision stopped after that. Kirlia had passed out from using so much energy to have everyone see AJ’s thoughts.
Chase: “Lucas, I think Kirlia should rest in a pokeball now.”
Lucas: “OK, as long as it’s not that pink one.” Chase hands Lucas a regular pokeball. Lucas taps it against Kirlia and recaptures it. “Take a nice rest Kirlia. You deserve it.”
Vik: “Chase, did you see that email?”
Chase: “Yeah, whoever has the email address Worlds_end@gmial .com is the one who released all the wild pokemon in our time. This was planned from the very beginning, before I got my own cartridge ball.” Chase takes a minute to find a piece of paper and a pencil and then he writes down the email address with a note saying that that’s the person they’re looking for.
Vik: “Dude, I wonder why Darkrai was looking at the email as well.”
Chase: “Gwen said that Team Chaos doesn’t know who released the wild pokemon either. I bet Jason told Shade that AJ’s been brainwashed more than once. No wonder he has amnesia about the past couple years.”
Lucas: “Guys, my brother still needs to be rescued.”
Chase: “Hold on Lucas, I just realized that there was something else weird about that email. It was address to Skyler and friends. It’s as if the writer of that email knew one of us would eventually read it.”
Vik: “That is weird. Who in the future knows about us?”
Lucas: “Chase! Sometime before AJ turns into a bad guy again would be nice!” Lucas was becoming very impatient and worried about his brother. Chase takes another look at the radar and Darkrai’s dot was still on the edge of the screen.
Chase: “OK, let’s go.” They leave the conference room and then head down the hall. The hallway also had some hardened magma in it. Soon there was a build up of hardened magma that blocked their way.
Lucas: “Spiny, punch through the rock wall with Horn Drill!” Lucas throws his pokeball and Spiny comes out. It tries to drill though the rock wall but it was no use.
Chase: “Let’s try Aggron again. Use Metal Burst!” Chase threw his Elite ball and Shiny Aggron appeared and punched the rock wall. It managed to make a huge dent but it appeared that the build up was very deep. The hole that Aggron made was at least two feet in. There was no telling how much they had to dig through. Then the situation became worse. A portal opened behind them Jason had emerged from it.
Chase: “Jason? What are you doing here?” Jason’s Celebi also emerged from the portal. He recalled it back into his Elite ball and the portal disappeared.
Jason: “I only have one thing on my mind right now, and that thing is revenged!” Jason gripped the Elite ball in his hand. Chase and Vik also grabbed their Elite Balls.
Chase: “Lucas, you go with your Kirlia. You’re the only one who can save AJ now.”
Vik: “We’ll take care of Jason. You just show Shade what you can do.”
Lucas: “But what if I can’t do it. After all, Vik said that I mess things up.”
Chase: “If we think you’ll mess up then why did we come looking for you in the first place? AJ needs you and your pokemon believe in you.”
Jason: “Are we done talking yet? Mewtwo and Regigigas, prepare for battle!”
Vik: “Tyranitar…”
Chase: “Yanmega…”
Chase and Vik: “Let’s get ‘em!” Lucas didn’t waste anytime either.
Lucas: “Let’s go Kirlia! We can’t let Shade get away.” Kirlia nodded and then they teleported away. Meanwhile, Shade used Darkrai to look into AJ’s head.
Shade: “Come on Darkrai, keep looking for what we need.” Darkrai showed Shade one more vision that Vik, Lucas, and Chase didn’t get to see. The setting this time was somewhere in the base right before Chase and Vik had invaded it three months before. Jason was telling AJ something while he was still brainwashed into thinking he was Skyler, a Team Chaos Admin along with Shade. This must’ve been while Shade was also hypnotized sometime before his Darkrai had snapped him out of it.
Jason: “Skyler, you are no longer the leader of Team Chaos. You’ll follow only my orders. As for you Shade, I no longer need you since you’re expendable. My plan in almost into fruition and when the God Pokemon Project succeeds here in the past, I’ll rule this world. You and Shade will be eradicated along with that pesky kid Chase and his other friends. Whoever planned on stopping me in the future hasn’t even tried yet. I have nothing to fear. Now, go out there and don’t let Chase or any of his friends get inside the base.”
This showed Shade that Jason knew more then he led on. Shade knew that someone had threatened Team Chaos that they’d stop them. Shade had also seen the email from worlds_end@gmail .com,except he was able to read the entire email while the others didn’t. Shade knew more than anyone else but he still didn’t know enough.
Shade: “Darkrai, can you find anymore memories that will help us with our wild pokemon mystery?” At that moment Lucas teleported into the room where Shade had been hiding.
Lucas: “Let my brother go right now or you’ll be sorry!”
Shade: “You’re that pesky brat. I’ll let your brother go when I’m done with him. Darkrai, get back to work. Use Dark Void.”
Lucas: “Kirlia, use Disable. Don’t let Darkrai brainwash my brother again!” Kirlia was able to stop Darkrai right in its tracks. Now Shade was really ticked off.
Shade: “Alright, I tried to go easy on you, but you’ve pushed me to my breaking point!” Lucas didn’t back down one bit. He knew what was at stake but he wouldn’t let Shade see his fear, or Shade would use it against him.
Chapter 10: A Warrior’s Awakening
Lucas stared at Shade for a moment, trying to hide his nervousness. He thought of this more of the bottom of the ninth at a little league game with two outs. One mistake is all it would take for Shade to walk away with AJ and whatever secretes are in his mind. Shade threw his Elite ball and released his pokemon.
Shade: “Rhyperior, action time! Darkrai, you’ll battle as well!” Rhyperior appeared from the Elite Ball and Darkrai also appeared. Kirlia looked at Lucas and then sent him a telepathic message.
Kirlia (telepathically): I can return your brother to normal. Let your other pokemon take care of them. Lucas nodded and then threw his other two pokeballs.
Lucas: “Machop and Spiny, get ready for battle!” Lucas’ two pokemon were released and they gave out cries showing that they were ready for battle. “I know you two can do this! Spiny, use Poison Jab on Darkrai. Machop, use Dynamic Punch on Rhyperior!” Shade: “Darkria, use Night Shade to push Nidorino back. Rhyperior, use Rock Cannon to block Machop!” Both of Shade’s pokemon were able to fire two perfect counter attacks that completely immobilized both of Lucas’s pokemon. Spiny was pushed away by the powerful Night Shade attack and Rhyperior’s Rock Cannon produced a boulder that was too huge for Machop to lift or shatter with its Dynamic Punch. Rhyperior hid behind the boulder as it recharged.
Lucas: “Team Work guys. Machop, Dynamic Punch! Spiny, Horn Drill!” Spiny and Machop were able to leave huge cracks in the boulder this time. As they attempted to smash the boulder, Kirlia used its Disable attack on AJ to stop his nightmares. Then it used its Synchronize ability so AJ would have an easier time remembering who he was. Shade was not about to let Lucas succeed.
Shade: “Rhyperior, show those pipsqueaks a real Horn Drill!” Rhyperior charges through the boulder as it shatters to pieces. Then Spiny is hit by Phyperior’s Horn Drill and is OHKO’d. Kirlia noticed what had happened and awakened AJ. Surely enough, he did wake up and was still his normal self but he still had the same amnesia problem.
AJ: “A Kirlia? Wow, you seem familiar… as if I’ve met you before.”
Kirlia (telepathicall): No time to explain. I need to help your brother. Kirlia teleported to Lucas’ side to take Machop’s place. That’s when AJ noticed there was a battle going on. Just like Kirlia, Shade seemed familiar to him but he couldn’t figure out where he had seen the Team Chaos Admin before. Then he inspected the pokemon and saw the disadvantage Lucas had.
AJ: “Lucas what are you doing? You’re going to lose!”
Lucas: “I’m fighting for you big bro.” AJ reached into his pocket and grabbed his Elite Ball.
AJ: “Well let me take over before this Team Chaos jerk takes over your mind.”
Shade: “Sorry, no substitutions allowed.”
Lucas: “Don’t you believe in me anymore big bro?” AJ realized he had no choice but to watch the battle.
AJ: “You can do it Lucas.” Lucas smiled and nodded at his brother. Elsewhere in the base, another battle was taking place.
Jason: “Chase, I have a bone to pick with you, but I’ll explain everything once I’ve hypnotized you and your friends. Mewtwo, use Psychic! Regigigas, use Drain Punch on Tyranitar!” Chase and Vik were ready for this. They’ve battled each other so many times that they knew each other’s combinations by heart. That was one of the benefits for being each other’s top rival.
Chase: “Yanmega, use Detect to Dodge!”
Vik: “Tyranitar, Stone Edge attack on Mewtwo!” The Psychic attack had affected neither Tyranitar nor Yanmega. Regigagas’ Slow Start Ability was making it move in slow Motion. Tyranitar was able to dodge the Drain Punch with ease then performed a Stone Edge attack on Mewtwo, but it missed Mewtwo. The first round of attacks ended in a stalemate.
Jason: “Finish Tyranitar with one Aura Sphere!”
Chase: “Not so fast. Yanmega, use Bug Buzz!” Yanmega moved so quickly that it seemed more like it teleported in front of Mewtwo. Then it generated a huge shockwave with its Bug Buzz attack and knocked Mewtwo down.
Jason: “That Yanmega has the Speed Boost ability. That’s why it attacked before Mewtwo, and also why Chase had it use Detect in the first place. Regigigas, use Crush Grip. Squash that bug!” Like Yanmega, Regigigas was also beginning to move faster, but not fast enough. Yanmega was too fast for it. Jason was becoming frustrated.
Vik: “Tyranitar, use Crunch to finish off Mewtwo!” Tyranitar moved in for a direct attack. Mewtwo quickly recovered from the Bug Buzz and then fired an Aura Sphere. It was a direct hit and Tyranitar was hit hard, but Vik was prepared for it. Tyranitar quickly ate the Chopple Berry Vik gave it while it was still in his Pearl Game. The Aura Sphere would’ve knocked it out in one shot, but Vik was too smart to fall for a trick like that. Tyranitar landed a crunch attack on Mewtwo and it was down for the count.
Jason: “I’m not giving in that easily. Regigigas, use Drain Punch and Mewtwo, use Ice Beam to stop Yanmega!” Mewtwo fired an array of Ice Beams and Yanmega was hit by one beam and slowed down by the ice that formed on its wings.
Chase: “Yanmega, use another Detect!”
Jason: “I’m sorry, but you’ve already failed. Regigigas, use Crush Grip to finish off Yanmega!” Yanmega’s Detect attack only boosted its ability to dodge in the real world, unlike in the game where it just protected itself. Regigigas was able to land a Crush Grip attack on Yanmega which was enough to KO it.
Vik: “You left your Mewtwo defenceless. Tyranitar, use Earthquake!” Tyranitar triggered an earthquake that was strong enough to KO Mewtwo and reduce more of Regigigas’ health. Jason recalled his Mewtwo but wasn’t too worried about the battle now that Regigigas’ Slow Start had worn off. Now the battle had reached its critical stage. Shade: “Darkria, use Dark Void to put them both to sleep!”
Lucas: “Kirlia, use Teleport so the attack won’t work on you or Machop!” Lucas had seen Shade’s tactics before and was ready for them. Kirlia managed to teleport itself and Machop away from the Dark Void’s range.
AJ: “Nice going Lucas.”
Lucas: “Now watch this. Machop, use Dynamic Punch on Darkrai! Kirlia, use Magical Leaf on Rhyperior!”
Shade: “You both can take these attacks.” Shade’s Darkrai just levitated there as the Dynamic Punch attack hit it hard. It was powerful enough to Confuse Darkrai. Then Rhyperior is hit by Kirlia’s Magical Leaf, but Shade wasn’t worried since it had the Hard Rock ability. However, Rhyperior was still weakening. That was because Spiny’s Poison Point ability had poisoned it when the Horn Drill attack hit it.
Lucas: “It worked. Darkai’s confused and Rhyperior will lose since it’s poisoned.”
AJ: “Great job little bro, but you need to keep your guard up.”
Shade: “You should listen to your brother. Darkrai, use Dark Void!” Despite its confusion, Darkrai used its Dark Void attack and that’s when Lucas realized that he had fallen into Shade’s trap. Machop fell victim to Darkrai’s spell. “Now use Dream Eater!”
Lucas: “Kirlia, help Machop!”
Kirlia (telepathically): It’s too late. Machop had all of its strength drained from Dream Eater. Machop could no longer continue battling. Now the situation was pretty grim.
Shade: “Rhyperior, use Rock Cannon on Kirlia!” Kirlia sensed the Rock Cannon and tried to dodge. The Boulder landed pretty close but the shockwave of the impact threw Kirlia back into Lucas’ arms. Lucas fell backwards as he caught Kirlia. His backpack fell over when he landed and the blue rock fell out of it.
Lucas: “Are you OK, Kirlia?” Kirlia looked at the rock for a second.
Kirlia (telepathically): Lucas, what’s that? Lucas saw the rock that Zach and Katie had given him.
Lucas: “It’s a rock for good luck that my friends gave me. Isn’t it cool?” That’s when Lucas thought of his friends Zach and Katie and then he realized how many people had believed in him from the start. His parents, Zach, Katie, Chase, AJ, and even Vik. He was never a trouble maker and he really did help even when it didn’t seem like it at the time. This feeling gave Lucas new courage and Kirlia could feel it with its Synchronize ability. It used it’s Confusion attack to levitate the rock and then it grabbed onto it.
Kirlia (telepathically): I can feel your friends Lucas. I can feel your courage and your determination. This is for your friends and family. Lucas felt a new feeling inside of him as well. It was something he never felt before but he knew that Kirlia had used its Synchronize to make his mind one with it. Then the rock along with Kirlia started glowing. Lucas didn’t know it but Zach and Katie had given him a Dawn Stone and it was causing Kirlia to evolve.
Shade: “What? How is this happening?”
AJ: “You don’t get it, do you Shade?”
Shade: “You actually remember who I am?”
AJ: “Kirlia had helped me remember a few things as well. My brother has more power and strength than anyone thought because of his friends and family. He’s not just a little kid anymore.” Lucas took a step back as Kirlia continued its evolution. He knew Kirlia was evolving and he could feel it becoming stronger as it changed form. Soon it stopped glowing and had evolved into a Gallade. Gallade didn’t have the Synchronize ability anymore, but Lucas could still sense its thoughts and the same went for Gallade.
Lucas: “Shade, you better not bother us again! Go Gallade, show them what you can do!” Both of the swords on Gallade’s arms glowed a bright blue, and then it performed a Psycho Cut attack and sliced the boulder from the Rock Cannon attack. Not only that, but the Psycho Cut also hit Rhyperior with a Critical Hit.
Shade: “I won’t be beaten by a kid again! Darkrai, use Dark Void!” Lucas remained calm and Gallade was able to do the same. Human and Pokemon had become one and the power it was forming was incredible. AJ and Shade watched was Gallade used a Disable attack to completely immobilize Darkrai. After that Gallade teleported right next to Darkrai.
Lucas: “Let ‘em have it, Gallade!” Gallade swung its left arm as it glowed green. It swapped the Magical Leaf attack for a Leaf Blade and Darkrai was hit hard once again.
Shade: “Rhyperior, use Horn Drill to finish it off.”
Lucas: “Teleport, then Leaf Blade again!” Gallade did just that and the Leaf Blade was strong enough to defeat Rhyperior. The Poison had drained the last of Rhyperior’s health and Shade was forced to call it back.
Shade: “Darkrai, use Night Shade!”
Lucas (thinking): Gallade, look out behind you! Gallade heard Lucas’ thoughts and then used a Psycho Cut attack to deflect the Night Shade, however doing so left it weak. Darkrai was also weak as well.
Shade: “Darkrai, use Dark Pulse!”
Lucas: “You can do it, Gallade! Leaf Blade!” Darkrai fired a wave of darkness for its attack while Gallade made its right sword glow green. Just before the Dark Pulse hits, it Teleports out of the way and next to Darkrai. Finally, it delivers the final blow and Darkrai is KO’d by a critical hit. Shade had lost to Lucas once again. Gallade and Lucas both stared at Shade and stood by for anything sneaky he’d tried to pull off.
Shade: “So I lost again, dig deal. Darkria, return!” Darkrai was recalled into Shade’s Elite Ball and into his Diamond game. Shade left quietly after that. He may not have gotten what he came for, but now he knew enough.
AJ: “Lucas, that was incredible. You and Gallade rocked!”
Lucas: “Thanks big bro. Gallade, you are the coolest pokemon ever. I know you don’t have Synchronize anymore, but you’ll still be a valuable friend on our team. Go ahead and get back in your pokeball.” Gallade nodded and was recalled back into it’s pokeball.
AJ: “Your Gallade is one tough fighter. By the way, where’s everyone else?”
Lucas: “Oh no, one of the other bad guys is battling them right now. But I need to heal Spiny and Machop.”
AJ: “Here, I’ll heal them.” Lucas released his injured pokemon and AJ gave them each a Max Revive. Soon all of Lucas’ pokemon were in tip top shape and ready for battle.
Lucas: “So now what do we do?”
AJ: “I remember something very important, but we got to find Chase and Vik first. There’s something we all should know, and not just me.” They ran out into the hallway and toward where the battle with Jason was taking place. AJ also knew everything they needed to know thanks to Kirlia. But now that Kirlia had evolved into Gallade and lost the Synchronize ability, it could no longer help AJ remember anything else. The mystery was becoming clearer to AJ, but it was also becoming more dangerous and puzzling with each step.

Whew, long chapters. It's nice to see that you recap the story about AJ, that he used to be a TC admin. With this being the sequel to your first story it's good to be reminded.
Lucas isn't the brightest kid if he still has a problem with the color pink. His Kirlia needs healing.
Is the Commander Serph a Gym member too? Just wondering.

Chapter 11
Megavelocibot is the guest character in this chapter. I gotta say, he really made me think on my feet in order to write this chapter, but I had fun writing it up. Hope everyone enjoys this chapter, and as always, all feedback is welcomed.

Regigigas and Tyranitar stared each other down. Tyranitar had taken more hits than Regigigas. Vik and Chase stood there trying to contain their frustration.
Chase: “Vik, you got to think of something or we’ll lose more than just a battle.”
Jason: “Well then think fast. Regigigas, use Drain Punch!” Regigigas moved in toward Tyranitar. “This time you can’t protect yourself with another Chopple Berry.” Then Chase and Vik heard footsteps. Without even looking at the direction from where they were coming from they knew it was Lucas and AJ. Vik knew what to do now.
Vik: “Tyranitar, activate your Sand Stream Ability now!” Tyranitar quickly summoned a sandstorm that was so intense that Regigigas backed off for a second. Soon the sandstorm inside the base became so intense that Tyranitar had disappeared. Jason was expecting some counter attack, but nothing happened for the next minute. When the Sandstorm had cleared, they were gone. Jason became furious that Vik and Chase had disappeared.
Jason: “No! Those cowards got away! Regigigas return!” Shade then appeared at the other end of the hallway.
Shade: “Did you come here thinking that I had failed?”
Jason: “It doesn’t matter. Chase got away from me when I tried to ambush them.”
Shade: “You should go back to being a genius instead of seeking revenge. That’s my department.”
Jason: “Well I’ve been demoted. My own father refuses to see me anymore.”
Shade: “Well, go see him anyway. I know something that I think both of you want to know. Darkrai showed me what’s inside Skyler’s head, or should I call him AJ from now on? Well getting back to the point, he’s seen an email and there was important information in it. I even know who released all the wild pokemon in this timeline.” Jason was stunned to find out that Shade had learned who had released the wild pokemon. Not only that, but there was also the suspicion that AJ could now remember everything that was supposed to be erased form his memory. Now priorities have changed for Team Chaos. Both Shade and Jason released a Celebi and travelled though time.
It was Lucas that had helped Chase and Vik pull off their disappearing act. When Vik had Tyranitar use the Sandstream ablility for cover, Lucas and AJ approached them and said that they had made an important discovery. Lucas then told his Gallade to use Teleport and to send them all far away from the base. They were Teleported to a city and had no clue where they were. A wild Swellow flew in the sky above. That told them that they’re still focused on their mission.
Chase: “So now what?”
Someone's Voice: “Whoa, that’s the eighth battle in a row!” That's when Chase, Vik, and AJ noticed a huge crowd nearby outside of a game shop.
Vik: “There’s a battle going on nearby.” Chase, Vik, and AJ looked in the direction from where they heard the voice. It turns out that in a store’s parking lot a battle had taken place. There was a KO’d Cacturne that had lost to a Shiny Porygon. The owner of the Shiny Porygon was named Hector and he was on a winning streak. Chase and friends approached the crowd that had witnessed the battle.
Hector: “Anyone else wants to try to beat me and Commodore. The more league points I earn, the better. Hey, Conner, did you stamp me for that victory?” Conner was the league leader there. This pokemon league was not only playing cards, but also holding battles with the Elite Balls for that day’s league.
Conner: “Got it Hector. One more win and you’ll earn a POP pack.” Hector saluted Conner with two fingers.
Vik: “Let me try to beat this guy.” Vik puts his backpack down for a minute and then grabs his Team Rocket shirt. He wore it over his T-shirt.
Hector: “Come on, there’s gotta be someone out there who wants a challenge.” Vik fought his way through the crowd and then stepped up to Hector and his Shiny Porygon.
Vik: “I’ll battle you. Go Ambipom!” Vik threw his Elite Ball and out popped a Shiny Ambipom.
Chase: “How’d you get a Shiny Ambipom?”
Vik: “I got lucky in my Pearl using the Honey Trees. Ready Ambipom?” Ambipom formed two fists with its tails and prepared for any attack by the shiny Porygon.
Hector: “So who are you, Rocket boy?”
Vik: “That’s Rocket Prodigy to you. Ambipom, use Double Hit on Porygon!” Ambipom jumps up into the air and closes in on Hector’s Shiny Porygon.
Hector: “Commodore, use Psychic!” Hector had nicknamed his Shiny Porygon Commodore. It use Psychic and made Ambipom immobile while dealing damage to it at the same time. When the attack stopped Ambipom had less than half of its health left over.
Chase: “Wow, that’s a powerful Porygon.”
Vik: “Ambipom, Get up and try a Brick Break!” Ambipom got back up to its feet and tried to attack again.
Hector: “Dodge it.” Commodore moved so fast that it was a blur. Chase and Vik recgonized that speed. They knew it was no ordinary dodge. It was an Extremespeed attack. That told them that Hector was using a hacked Porygon.
Vik: “Aerial Ace!” Ambipom followed Vik’s command and managed to hit Commodore.
Hector: “Nice moves. Would you like to see mine, sir? Commodore, use Signal Beam!” Commodore fired a Signal Beam attack that was powerful enough to KO Vik’s Shiny Ambipom.
Connor: “Looks like this battle’s over. Hector and his Shiny Porygon Commodore win it again!”
Vik: “What?! No way I could’ve lost to a Porygon like that!”
Hector: “Looks like you did. Nice going Commodore.” Commodore floats around Hector while showing off its pride.
Lucas: “What’s the big deal Vik? It was cool to watch two shiny pokemon battle like that.”
Chase: “Yeah Vik, let’s step out of the crowd for a sec.”
Vik: “Fine. Ambipom, return!” Vik recalled his Shiny Ambipom and then made his way out of the crowd. He, Chase, AJ, and Lucas all huddled together.
Chase (quietly): “Vik, it’s incredibly obvious that Commodore’s a hacked pokemon. Did you see the way it dodged?”
Vik (quietly): “Dude, I was in the battle. That ‘dodge’ looked more like an Extremespeed attack to me.”
AJ (quietly): “And I bet that Porygon has hacked stats across the board. Maybe even perfect stats.”
Chase (quietly): “Nah, if it had perfect stats it would’ve knocked out Ambipom in one shot.”
Lucas (quietly): “So what’s the big deal. Is hacking a bad thing?”
AJ (quietly): “Lucas, you don’t play the games so you don’t know what we’re talking about. Hacking is the same thing as cheating in a pokemon game.” Lucas immediately started yelling at Hector.
Lucas: “You cheater! Using hacked pokemon is no way to battle!”
AJ: “Oh no. There he goes again, acting without even thinking. Just like in baseball practice.”
Chase (sarcastically): “Yeah, I wonder where he gets it from.”
Hector: “Cute kid. Look, I don’t cheat.” AJ noticed that there was a nintedno Wii and TV inside the game shop where the league belonged to. AJ knew that hacked pokemon on Pokemon Battle Revolution appeared as “bad eggs.”
AJ: “Then prove it to me in a double battle on PBR.” Hector was taken by surprise.
Hector: “uh…”
AJ: “What’s the matter? You accepted my friends challenge so easily and now your backing down?”
Connor: “Sorry man, but for today’s league we’re all battling using these awesome pokeballs that appeared out of nowhere. You want a battle you’ll have to do it here and now with your real ball.” Hector gave out a sigh of relief.
Chase (muttering): “They’re called Elite Balls.”
AJ: “Fine then, have it your way. Chato and Wildcard, let’s go!” AJ released his Blaziken nicknamed Chato and his Mew nicknamed Wildcard.
Hector: “You’ll get more than a double battle. Comodore, get ready. I’ll also choose Smiles!” Hector released a Quagsire that was nicknamed Smiles.
Connor: “Alright, let the battle begin!”
AJ: “With pleasure. Wildcard, Transform into that Shiny Porygon!” Hector then realized AJ’s strategy. He was going to use his own hacked pokemon against him and blow his cover for using hacked pokemon. Mew glowed for a moment and then successfully Transformed into Commodore.
Hector: “Commodore, use Psychic on his Blaziken!”
AJ: “Chato, use Protect!” Chato avoid all damage by projecting a barrier abound it. Commodore couldn’t do a thing.
Hector: “Smile, use Earthquake when the Protect wares off!” Chato’s barrier was about to fade. AJ knew what he had to do.
AJ: “Wildcard, use Extremespeed!” As a Shiny Porygon, Wildcard stuck Smiles at high speed. The crowd was surprised to see such a thing. An illegal attack on a Porygon.
Lucas: “Hah, busted! Good going big bro!”
Connor: “The only way a Transformed Mew can use an attack if its target knows it. Hector, did you use hacked pokemon this whole time?” Hector could tell there was no way of lying his way out of this. He admitted the truth.
Hector: “Yeah, Commodore’s hacked with only one illegal attack and its stats are the same as a maxed out Porygon-Z’s. Smiles is also hacked. Sorry everyone, I just wanted to have fun with this new pokeball and my hacks."
AJ: “Well, might as well finish up this battle. Chato, use Blast Burn on Commodore!”
Hector: “Smiles, deflect it with Hydro Cannon!” Another illegal attack. Smiles’ attack not only negated Blast Burn but it also had enough power leftover to hit Chato real hard. Chato had lost so much health that it activated its Blaze ability and powered up its Fire type attacks.
AJ: “Try another Blast Burn! Wildcard, use Psychic to stop Smiles from doing anything!” Wildcard did the same thing Commodore did in the battle against Vik. It immobilized Smiles and dealt heavy damage as well. Chato then fired another Blast Burn. This time it was much more powerful than the last one.
Hector: “You use Psychic attack as well!” Commodore fired a Psychic attack at the last second. Both Chato and Commodore are hit. Chato was KO’d from the Psychic attack and Commodore was reduced to very little health.
AJ: “Chato return! Well Mr. Hacks, got anymore tricks up your sleeve?”
Hector: “Yup, and it’s nothing like you’ve ever seen before. Smiles, use ID.” The surrounding crowd is puzzled. Smiles began to concentrate.
AJ: “What’s ID?”
Hector: “It’s an attack I made up and hacked onto my Quagsire. It recalls any of its level up or egg moves and then uses one of them.” Smiles was done concentrating and then used a Yawn attack. Wildcard was affected by it and became drowsy.
Chase: “Wow, this guy is just full of surprises. He’s even cracked the games code to the point where he can program his own attacks. I wonder if he can help us out with our email address ID problem.”
AJ: “Wildcard, hang in there. Use another Extremespeed to finish off his Shiny Porygon!”
Hector: “You use Extremespeed too.” Both Wildcard and Commodore collide with great force. At then end of the attack, Commodore was KO’d and Wildcard fell asleep from the effects of Yawn.
AJ: “Oh no, don’t fall asleep now Wildcard!”
Hector: “Smiles, another Hydro Cannon!” Smiles fired another Hydro Cannon and then KO’d Wildcard. After the attack Wildcard changed back into Mew.
AJ: “Well, at least it was good battle. Return Wildcard.”
Hector: “You return as well, Smiles.”
Connor: “Hector.” Hector could tell he was in trouble by cheating. “You know that in Pokemon we have to play fairly, especially at League. As the League Leader here I don’t mind hacked pokemon but I am a bit ticked off by dishonesty. You denied that your pokemon are hacked when they clearly are.”
Chase: “Don’t give him such a hard time. I actually like this guy. You maybe just the hacker my friends and I need.”
Hector: “Really? What can I do that you need from me?” Chase wasn’t going to tell the whole crowd of what had happened in the past 24 hours. He remembered where he and his friends went right before leaving the base. Gallade teleported them to a room where there was a computer active.
Chase: “Before we arrived here, we had some computer troubles. Think you could help us out Hector?” AJ knew what he was talking about. The computer was locked but AJ remembered the password to access it. When they logged onto it they were taken to a website that revealed even more secretes, but still not enough to clear up the mystery of the real pokemon on Earth. They needed more access codes, but hacking into the site would make their mission much easier.
Hector: “If computer or game trouble lurks about, I’m your man.” He saluted Chase with two fingers. Chase and his friends took Hector for a walk and discussed what they wanted him to do.

Hector: “Commodore, use Psychic!” Hector had nicknamed his Shiny Porygon Commodore. It use Psychic and made Ambipom immobile while dealing damage to it at the same time. When the attack stopped Ambipom had less than half of its health left over.
Chase: “Wow, that’s a powerful Porygon.”
Vik: “Ambipom, Get up and try a Brick Break!” Ambipom got back up to its feet and tried to attack again.
Hector: “Dodge it.” Commodore moved so fast that it was a blur. Chase and Vik recgonized that speed. They knew it was no ordinary dodge. It was an Extremespeed attack. That told them that Hector was using a hacked Porygon.
Vik: “Aerial Ace!” Ambipom followed Vik’s command and managed to hit Commodore.
Hector: “Nice moves. Would you like to see mine, sir? Commodore, use Signal Beam!” Commodore fired a Signal Beam attack that was powerful enough to KO Vik’s Shiny Ambipom.
Connor: “Looks like this battle’s over. Hector and his Shiny Porygon Commodore win it again!”
Vik: “What?! No way I could’ve lost to a Porygon like that!”
Hector: “Looks like you did. Nice going Commodore.” Commodore floats around Hector while showing off its pride.
Lucas: “What’s the big deal Vik? It was cool to watch two shiny pokemon battle like that.”
Chase: “Yeah Vik, let’s step out of the crowd for a sec.”
Vik: “Fine. Ambipom, return!” Vik recalled his Shiny Ambipom and then made his way out of the crowd. He, Chase, AJ, and Lucas all huddled together.
Chase (quietly): “Vik, it’s incredibly obvious that Commodore’s a hacked pokemon. Did you see the way it dodged?”
Vik (quietly): “Dude, I was in the battle. That ‘dodge’ looked more like an Extremespeed attack to me.”
AJ (quietly): “And I bet that Porygon has hacked stats across the board. Maybe even perfect stats.”
Chase (quietly): “Nah, if it had perfect stats it would’ve knocked out Ambipom in one shot.”
Lucas (quietly): “So what’s the big deal. Is hacking a bad thing?”
AJ (quietly): “Lucas, you don’t play the games so you don’t know what we’re talking about. Hacking is the same thing as cheating in a pokemon game.” Lucas immediately started yelling at Hector.
Lucas: “You cheater! Using hacked pokemon is no way to battle!”
AJ: “Oh no. There he goes again, acting without even thinking. Just like in baseball practice.”
Chase (sarcastically): “Yeah, I wonder where he gets it from.”
Hector: “Cute kid. Look, I don’t cheat.” AJ noticed that there was a nintedno Wii and TV inside the game shop where the league belonged to. AJ knew that hacked pokemon on Pokemon Battle Revolution appeared as “bad eggs.”
AJ: “Then prove it to me in a double battle on PBR.” Hector was taken by surprise.
Hector: “uh…”
AJ: “What’s the matter? You accepted my friends challenge so easily and now your backing down?”
Connor: “Sorry man, but for today’s league we’re all battling using these awesome pokeballs that appeared out of nowhere. You want a battle you’ll have to do it here and now with your real ball.” Hector gave out a sigh of relief.
Chase (muttering): “They’re called Elite Balls.”
AJ: “Fine then, have it your way. Chato and Wildcard, let’s go!” AJ released his Blaziken nicknamed Chato and his Mew nicknamed Wildcard.
Hector: “You’ll get more than a double battle. Comodore, get ready. I’ll also choose Smiles!” Hector released a Quagsire that was nicknamed Smiles.
Connor: “Alright, let the battle begin!”
AJ: “With pleasure. Wildcard, Transform into that Shiny Porygon!” Hector then realized AJ’s strategy. He was going to use his own hacked pokemon against him and blow his cover for using hacked pokemon. Mew glowed for a moment and then successfully Transformed into Commodore.
Hector: “Commodore, use Psychic on his Blaziken!”
AJ: “Chato, use Protect!” Chato avoid all damage by projecting a barrier abound it. Commodore couldn’t do a thing.
Hector: “Smile, use Earthquake when the Protect wares off!” Chato’s barrier was about to fade. AJ knew what he had to do.
AJ: “Wildcard, use Extremespeed!” As a Shiny Porygon, Wildcard stuck Smiles at high speed. The crowd was surprised to see such a thing. An illegal attack on a Porygon.
Lucas: “Hah, busted! Good going big bro!”
Connor: “The only way a Transformed Mew can use an attack if its target knows it. Hector, did you use hacked pokemon this whole time?” Hector could tell there was no way of lying his way out of this. He admitted the truth.
Hector: “Yeah, Commodore’s hacked with only one illegal attack and its stats are the same as a maxed out Porygon-Z’s. Smiles is also hacked. Sorry everyone, I just wanted to have fun with this new pokeball and my hacks."
AJ: “Well, might as well finish up this battle. Chato, use Blast Burn on Commodore!”
Hector: “Smiles, deflect it with Hydro Cannon!” Another illegal attack. Smiles’ attack not only negated Blast Burn but it also had enough power leftover to hit Chato real hard. Chato had lost so much health that it activated its Blaze ability and powered up its Fire type attacks.
AJ: “Try another Blast Burn! Wildcard, use Psychic to stop Smiles from doing anything!” Wildcard did the same thing Commodore did in the battle against Vik. It immobilized Smiles and dealt heavy damage as well. Chato then fired another Blast Burn. This time it was much more powerful than the last one.
Hector: “You use Psychic attack as well!” Commodore fired a Psychic attack at the last second. Both Chato and Commodore are hit. Chato was KO’d from the Psychic attack and Commodore was reduced to very little health.
AJ: “Chato return! Well Mr. Hacks, got anymore tricks up your sleeve?”
Hector: “Yup, and it’s nothing like you’ve ever seen before. Smiles, use ID.” The surrounding crowd is puzzled. Smiles began to concentrate.
AJ: “What’s ID?”
Hector: “It’s an attack I made up and hacked onto my Quagsire. It recalls any of its level up or egg moves and then uses one of them.” Smiles was done concentrating and then used a Yawn attack. Wildcard was affected by it and became drowsy.
Chase: “Wow, this guy is just full of surprises. He’s even cracked the games code to the point where he can program his own attacks. I wonder if he can help us out with our email address ID problem.”
AJ: “Wildcard, hang in there. Use another Extremespeed to finish off his Shiny Porygon!”
Hector: “You use Extremespeed too.” Both Wildcard and Commodore collide with great force. At then end of the attack, Commodore was KO’d and Wildcard fell asleep from the effects of Yawn.
AJ: “Oh no, don’t fall asleep now Wildcard!”
Hector: “Smiles, another Hydro Cannon!” Smiles fired another Hydro Cannon and then KO’d Wildcard. After the attack Wildcard changed back into Mew.
AJ: “Well, at least it was good battle. Return Wildcard.”
Hector: “You return as well, Smiles.”
Connor: “Hector.” Hector could tell he was in trouble by cheating. “You know that in Pokemon we have to play fairly, especially at League. As the League Leader here I don’t mind hacked pokemon but I am a bit ticked off by dishonesty. You denied that your pokemon are hacked when they clearly are.”
Chase: “Don’t give him such a hard time. I actually like this guy. You maybe just the hacker my friends and I need.”
Hector: “Really? What can I do that you need from me?” Chase wasn’t going to tell the whole crowd of what had happened in the past 24 hours. He remembered where he and his friends went right before leaving the base. Gallade teleported them to a room where there was a computer active.
Chase: “Before we arrived here, we had some computer troubles. Think you could help us out Hector?” AJ knew what he was talking about. The computer was locked but AJ remembered the password to access it. When they logged onto it they were taken to a website that revealed even more secretes, but still not enough to clear up the mystery of the real pokemon on Earth. They needed more access codes, but hacking into the site would make their mission much easier.
Hector: “If computer or game trouble lurks about, I’m your man.” He saluted Chase with two fingers. Chase and his friends took Hector for a walk and discussed what they wanted him to do.

Wow. MVB's character has a Shiny Porygon. Why am I not surprised?
All in all, good chapter. I especially enjoyed how Hector turned out to be a hacker. One thing though

Shade and Jason meeting--hmm, what's up next with them?
I got a chuckle when you hurled the "good guys" to another time with Pokemon leauge going on. I'd be bone-tired after all the battling they'd just done, but nooooo, Vik is asking for a fun battle against Hector! I like the talk about the hacked pokemon. I hear about hacked pokemon at tournaments. Reading your story makes that seem a little more real. . . And AJ--he's battling in that scene too. A clever way to entwine the hacker Hector with our heroes who are in need of a computer whiz. Good writing, making AJ's pokemon copy Hector's attack.
AJ actually remembering something (a password). Hurrah!
