Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Pokemon Rumble

Well he finally spent all night getting to EX....so now I've got all night to play catch up since he had a 6am shift this morning =D

You go to the lottery looking thing in the terminal. It is to the right of where you release Pokemon. Also some Pokemon you befriend start with two moves.

Anyone know whether there are any tricks for affecting the capture/befriending rate? Can you do something like hit them with low level attacks a bunch of times before knocking them out to increase the chances of cathcing them? It seems random to me, but maybe someone knows something I don't?

There is discussion about tricks for the befriend rate though it is on gamefaqs on the boards for this game. I'm not able to give you a direct link as the boards on gamefaqs are iffy.

After playing the demo, I went ahead and picked it up. It is way more addicting than I expected. Now that classes are over for the semester, I can spend more time on it.

This is easily the funnest Pokemon video game I've played in a while.

It is kind of repetitive, but it's still fun. My only gripe is the way you learn new moves. That lottery sucks. >.>

I think the intention of the game was to hype the importance of Joto pokemon so they can return in triumph for HeartGold SomethingSilver....?

Maybe Nintendo will update it sometime. It would make it worth even more.

We can only hope, but seeing as an update for Ranch will probably never happen I don't think they will update tihs though they would be losing alot of money by not doing an update. I can actually see this as a DSi Ware. In Japan they do have 3 different Mystery Duengeon games as Wii-Ware and I think I read that there talks about maybe bringing them State side.
