Pre-Release DQ but no packs

and if all else fails with them my pto will prolly sell me a box at the prerelease

I think not, since I know who your PTO is! Likewise, all PTOs are not allowed to sell the new product to anyone during a PR. Once the set is released to the public (usually on the weds after the 2nd weekend of PRs), then a PTO can sell any leftover product.

Before anyone says, hey, my PTO does after PR drafts...is that allowed? Yes, it is allowed!

i can go buy packs at a target where i live the week the prereleases starts theyve had sets that early ever since platinum

I think his trade history speaks to his all around disposition. If he IS getting product early though, at Target, that would mean a distributor there is violating their contract and possibly the law.

How would they be breaking the law. My target does it to.

Sadly, this is a widespread problem with Targets. I don't know how many times I've had to ask Target to take product off the shelves because it was before street date. Usually they get the stuff up to a week before it's released, and they just assume they can put it out immediately. :nonono:

You are all lucky our walmart waits till a month after it is released to put the stuff out on the shelf

On topic. My friend says the owner plans on giveing him the packs. But if it happen again he will be banned from the store for waiting to report it. The Judge has also told him he made the annoncment the day before about the no buying and selling rule and he thought my firend knew about this. The Judge thought the packs were part of the prizes and under the policy a DQ can be given with out Prize. He has offer to make this up to my friend by paying his way into ND next month. My friend says he not sure if he will take the offer. or not. But at less the Judge does know what he did was wrong.
