Professor Test now online for testing!

Mine just says coming soon, but I did see a link for suspended players :O

Then you're a TO but not a Prof :p - and maybe, after they make you a Prof, you won't be a TO anymore ;) (that's how it worked with me - but they're working on it...)

For anyone who IS a Prof, but can't see the link to the Prof Test beta, see Prof Dav.'s post above. They discovered that (apparently) many of us are in the same predicament. (well, I was, but now I'm a Prof but not a TO or League Leader :()

i found it on mine and i am letting this one time out see what happens and how it reports a timed out test...
figured they need to get all the bugs worked out , might as well give them some bad ones...
i agree it is too short however when the real one rolls out it should be longer.

did that, found it behaves very badly (I can't go into details here) and reported it - (major bug)

It just says the test timed out and you can re-take in 2 days - but it lies....

[the test-taker doesn't get an email reply like you do if you complete the test (that's not the bug part)]

figured they need to get all the bugs worked out , might as well give them some bad ones...

PM me for a list :).

I never got an e-mail saying I passed.
Hmm.

So go take it again! I just got 14 emails - some said I passed, some said I failed...

(make sure your email addy is correct in your My Pokemon account profile)

How many do you need to pass this? 20 is the number that comes to my mind.

80% is passing (so, yeah, 20 questions)

I know my e-mail is correct because I got my notice of being a TO properly.

one of my "passed" emails says I got a question wrong. They showed me the correct answer. It was the Camerupt question. After re-reading the question a few times, I'm still convinced that my answer was correct and their's was wrong. Did anyone else get the Camerupt question wrong, yet are convinced they got it right?

I'm guessing that not all of us have access to the test yet, right?
Also, do we know if they are giving packs for the questions they used?

No, Camperupt shouldn't be Multi Energy - the QUESTION needs to be changed to say which of the following CAN you use. That would make A (2 Fire Energy) correct.

There's a lot of questions on there that have fuzzy and/or flat out wrong wording, many of which result in multiple correct answers. It also depends on how you read some of the answers.

As for size, I do agree it should be longer. 35 of 50 is a lot better than 20 of 25. Another interesting note is you can print off the questions all on one page in this format and study them for a later date, which couldn't be done in the WotC format. And what happened to the 800+ questions we as a Professor group sent in the first time? Did the Windows monster eat them? Just curious...

I'm such a whiner. :unknown-o :unknown-o :unknown-p :unknown-s :nonono:

How about the one where people were cheating but no one found out about it. How could they be punished? No one knows about them cheating!

yeah, I figured that probably wasn't it (that's why I wrote it really small ;)), but you just never know :) I was just pointing out that if you take it again, you'll be sent another email with your results...

Yep! The "can't discard" would be Multi, 'cause they're not a Basic Energy Card.

There are lots of content errors in the body of questions/answers I saw (and I saw between 100 - 175 questions).

Well... I can't test it at work right now.

As soon as I get back home with my finally repaired computer later today, I'll give it a go.

I did try it a bit at work though. It doesn't seem all the difficult

Except Gymbo... and some dude on AIM who was bragging to me about their mother passing the test for them.

I've always been for written tests and examinations at primere events... that's another good reason.

Whoo-hoo I passed! :) However I do agree that alot of the questions are 'fuzzy' and the Camerupt question is wrong and I'm not entirely sure about the question concerning Kecleon, mind you nobody plays Kecleon!! Even with the bugs its good to see our Prof test coming back!
