Well I've been testing with my deck Idea Raichu/Absol. Origanally I thought the deck was extremely good, now I'm not so sure. Sooooo I'm now posting the deck here.

BEHOLD!!!! THE SECRETS OF RAIDHATTER.

TOTAL CARDS: 60

POKEMON: 17
Level-Up: 1
1 : Raichu LV.X, SF-99
Stage 1: 5
2 : Claydol, GE-15
3 : Raichu, SF-8
Basic: 13
4 : Pikachu, (SF)
4 : Absol, SW-21
1 : Azelf, LA-19
2 : Baltoy, GE-60
1: Unown G
TRAINERS: 24
Trainers: 13
3 : Night Maintenance, MT-113
1 : Premier Ball, SF-91
4 : Poke Drawer +, SF-89
4 : PlusPower, SW-121
1 : Luxury Ball, SF-86
Supporters: 12
2 : Felicity's Drawing, GE-98
1 : Cynthia's Feelings, LA-131
3 : Bebe's Search, MT-109
3 : Roseanne's Research, SW-125
2 : Team Galactic's Wager, MT-115
2 : Conductive Quarry
ENERGY: 16
Special Energy: 4
4 : Call Energy, MD-92
Basic Energy: 12
12 : Lightning Energy, DP-126

Strategy:
Absol slows down your opponents Claydol getting. By the time they DO have a Claydol, you should be able to voltage shoot it away. Absol also allows you stall time to build up energy for burst ball.

I still think this deck could have potential, but now, the secret's out.

jsut becasue he doesnt like it, its alright octillery, you can do it but some people dont like it, id like to try some mt, works really well with energy acceleration

yet bronzong gets smacked cuz of gengar, only thing keeping him alive is a few extra HP.

I like the deck.

though I kinda see the PP's being semi useless. Why not bucks?

Burst ball for 140 twice in a row. Not that it would happen, but I use the PP all the time.

I believe it's a good idea to use Redshark pre-made list but it'd be better if people took a little bit of time to edit them. Taking away the Stage separation and just go with the old style of Pokemon lines. It's really easy to do with the Copy and Paste options.

Onto the deck, Claydol's appearance was the end of Absol. It hasn't been successful since Claydol came out. So i would drop that and add a 2-2 Bronzong. No Pichu either, you would rather add Conductive Quarry and have a counter Stadium for Dusknoir. Then drop 2 Plus Powers and add 2 Unown G for that match-up and Gengar too.

So:
-4 Absol
-2 Pichu
-2 Plus Power

+2-2 Bronzong (SF)
+2 Conductive Quarry
+2 Unown G

IDK about the single POV. You may want to drop it and add another Cynthia's or a Rowan, maybe even a 3rd Wager.

^Thats silly, Absol still can be GREAT even going against Claydol.

That's why I haven't seen a single Absol since Claydol came out. It can disrupt but at what price? Giving up a prize? Not setting up as fast/consistent as your opponent. It's just not worth it. Come on Vegeta I thought you would be smarter then that.

I HATE seeing my opponent turn an Absol over at the beginning of the game.

When I decide to play it, the problem is ... I've found that I CAN'T get set up w/ Absol as the starter either!

It's like you're delaying YOUR OWN offense. Even if Baleful wind just had 20 damage w/ it, it'd be SO MUCH BETTER than something that's just a little better than saying "I'll pass."

I've thought about Sableye over absol, but the whole point is that absol can stop your opponent from getting out Claydol until you have enough energy on Raichu to voltage shoot it away.

I do see what people are saying about not running the pichus and pikachu with powers. I'll change that.

Why no Unown G???

Because I'm a flake.

So........ are you for absol or against Absol?

I just figure bucks nets you cards and without the G's, your claydol is gonna get sniped something fierce. It appears to me you either run fishing engine, or G your claydols up as soon as possible in this meta.. I suppose instead of absol you could run sable/wager to disrupt turn one and then roseannes for your bench next.

I think I will try this deck out at cities this week with my own tweaks and let you know how it goes.

I can put Absol in any deck and it can be good. I am a smart player thank you:tongue:, but to say it isn't good is VERY silly. It as a card itself is quite good, and it even is great against claydol. The only thing I think that shuts down Absol is Uxie.
