put in Electrode or something

YAY! LET'S PUT MORE HOLOS IN THIS DECK AND MAKE WOOPER PAY EVEN MORE FRIGGIN MONEY IN BUYING THIS DECK!!!!!

Heh, sorry about that. Anyways, here's a list off the top o' me head w/ Trode-age:

Pokemon: 22
4 Dunsparce
2 Squirtle
3 Blastoise ex
2 Feebas
2 Milotic
2 Voltorb
2 Electrode (KAMIKAZE!!!)
3 TA Walrein
2 Azurill

Energies: 18 Water

Trainers: 20
4 Reporter
2 Steven's
2 POR
3 Archie
3 Candy
3 Briney
3 Battle Searcher

Yay! I'll test this thing's setup-age and see how it does...there's a bit o' focus missing from getting Stoise ex setup definitely turn two, but whatever. Just another idea on my cramped up drawin' board...

Wooper, I'm beginning to think that BaD MoM was right all along. Although Walrein's damage is more unlimited than, say, Magneton's, wouldn't BaD MoM have more consistency at defeating Blazi variants? Just thinking that, 'cause the 'cat smokes the Ray, the Milo Kilo kills any and all fire, and the Manetric is too pitiful to withstand anything in the deck, ARGH!!!! I'm too confused. Anyways, I've been thinking plenty, and here are some synonyms that I've come up with:

Blaz/Quaza=Suicune/Blasty ex
Niniken=BaD MoM
BAR=Walreign
Anything else=ummm...anything else

Accurate? If so, then do tell!

By the way, as I think more and more, I realize that Electrode really does suck...big time. Attacking just with blasty and magneton alone are enough to beat out a Metagross.

Patriarch, I don't remember you ever building an EXon deck.

EVER.

So that would lead me to believe you have no validation for your claim. Magneton would need about...17 energy in play by turn two to KO Metagross ex, because turn two is when Metagross ex hits hard and hits fast. It'll destroy the Squirtles on the bench so there isn't any hope for Blastoise ex, and Magneton = suckage without some kind of big energy dropper (Flygon, BLASTOISE EX, etc.). Electrode is an EASY power-up turn two, just three energy and Stoise ex second turn isn't hard, maybe it'll take till third.

In case you didn't notice, I use 17-18 energy in my decks.
Magneton needs that many to KO Metax.
GG, BaD MoM players.

WOoper

...Now just sho said that I had to OHKO them? Turn two blasty ex with possible discard gets to them...a LOT. Magneton also makes life somewhat tough, as well. because of the nice lil resistence, and the ability to rain dance to shtuffz. Milo Kilo/Slowbro isn't as likely to setup T2 as Magneton/Blastoise, and if it does, then omg, lol =O

You're not getting what I'm saying. Metagross ex in ITSELF is destructive. You need to OHKO it, because Metagross ex is swarmable in the aspect of ability to power up. Meta will just GOW something else out, if Magneton's pumped, they'll gust Stoise, and you'll hafta retreat, then power up Magneton, which will be impossible, you'll need like 6 energy to even do ten damage. If you have Stoise up, KO some random Sparce, Feebas, Squirtle, WALREIN, WHICH HAS WEAKNESS TO METAL...

Electrode provides a simple, effective solution. 3 energy for 2 prizes? I'll take that anyday.

Dun dun, DUN!!!!!!!

Word has arrived from Japan on the progress of Blastoise ex! I quote the awesome and wise Vincent Wobbuffet Guy:

The result of BATTLEROAD SPRING (Japan) is.......

Most blaziken decks were defeated!
And the newest champion deck is ~~~ Blastoise EX~~~!!!

Boo ya! Blaziken decks have died! Blastoise ex rules! This proves the potency of BaD MoM, WalREIGN, and even some Charizard Blastoise ex's deck I drempt up a few days ago. Blastoise ex will become the current Blaziken ex. There really isn't any stopping it. Amphy will put up a good fight, and Metagross ex an even bigger one. But Blastoise ex will rule, as witnessed by Japan's results.

So far, my best WalREIGN version goes a little like this:

Pokemon: 20
4 Azurill
2 Dunsparce
3 Squirtle
3 Blastoise ex
2 Feebas
2 Milotic
4 Team Aqua's Walrein

Energy: 19 Water

Trainers: 21
4 Archie
4 Reporter
2 Steven's Advice
2 POR
3 Briney
3 Battle Searcher
3 Rare Candy

This version is working wonders. Second turn setups out the wazoo! I'm loving the new deck, it's doing great. I took Patriarch's advice to heart and used neither Delcatty, nor 'Trode (it IS a good card, 'specially in this deck with extra energy attaching and all that shizzle), but focus on second turn Stoise, doing 80, I need 4 energy in my hand tho, could be problematic, so I bumped the energy up to 19. Working great, I might even drop another something for water energy!

Fixages I'm thinkin' of:

-2 Dunsparce
-1 Team Aqua's Walrein
+1 Aqua's Spheal (I'm starting to miss this card)
+2 Nishiki's Network

Focuses on Blastoise ex shtuffz. Gets it out earlier, the Dunsparce really aren't helping too much in this deck, I'd rather use mass draw/search to find the pokemon I want and possibley other stuff. I'm more seriously considering this than the second fixage:

More shtuffz:
-1 Water Energy
-2 Feebas
-2 Milotic
+1 Battle Searcher
+1 Briney
+3 Aqua's Sealo

See it? You use Archie to get Team Aqua's Walrein, Briney it up, then Archie again for Team Aqua's Sealo, putting no damage on it, and evolve AGAIN! Damage free and ready for energy dancing! Fun fun fun, although probably less consistant.

LMK watcha think.

Wooper (don't censor my name, 'Pop!)

stick with milotic, CONSITANCY is what u need, good to know WalREIGN is good =P i really wish no one plays bex because of this, so i can play metagross ex in peace =P

Read the above quote, man Blaziken ex will fall, and Metagross ex will be a top 3 competitor, easy.

Is Azuril really better than Dunsparce? I can see putting in 1 Spheal, but I would keep Milotic rather than add Sealeo. Also, lotsa Battle Searchers = good.

(I was compelled to post, since you got pushed off the first page.)

Think of it this way: Do I really need any basics besides Squirtle second turn? No. I don't need Feebas 'till later. I can get TA Walrein with Archie. I just need second turn Stoise ex, third at the latest. For this to happen, I need Rare Candy, to get that, I use Azurill. Reporter and Steven's will help get the cards I need. Dunsparce really isn't so useful in this deck. I'm gonna replace the two Dunsparce with either Iggly or Corsola, I'm not sure which. Iggly is most likely, because it gets what I need when I need it. Squirtle and water second turn. But Corsola is so very appealing...

I like igglybuff better ;D

Yeah, that will probably be my backup plan. Corsola's attack can be modeled by Azurill searching for a Steven's Advice...hm...

But then I couldn't do it second turn again. I don't know, there are way too many options for this deck, it's freaking me out...

I need a vacation. XP

Yeah, I see what you mean now. Azuril-Iggly has you covered I guess. But I think I'd play 3-3 over 4-2, or even 4 Iggly and 2 Azuril, since both seem fairly necessary, and Iggly can search for Azuril, but Azuril can't get Iggly.

Ahh!!! I really can't choose between the three. Azurill, Iggly, Corsola...

Corsola draws a lot of cards.
Azurill has the same drawing capability with Steven's.
Iggly thins the deck and gets me what I want.

Corsola has the drawback of the whole hand thing.
Azurill only searches for one type of card.
Iggly offers least drawing power.

Hm...

Pokemon: 20
4 Corsola
3 Igglybuff
2 Squirtle
3 Blastoise ex
2 Feebas
2 Milotic
4 Team Aqua's Walrein

Energies: 19 Water

Trainers: 21
4 Rare Candy
4 Archie
4 Reporter
3 POR
3 Briney
3 Battle Searcher

This deck rips through the deck at an incredibley fast pace. Corsola and Iggly get setup fast, only two Squirtle because Iggly finds him...it's like having 5 Squirtle. 4 Candy because there isn't any Azurill, and I want turn three setup always, no questions asked. Fastest version so far, but has trouble late game...I can't figure out why.

----------------------------------------------

Pokemon: 20
4 Azurill
3 Igglybuff
2 Squirtle
3 Blastoise ex
2 Feebas
2 Milotic
4 Team Aqua's Walrein

Energy: 19 Water

Trainers: 21
4 Archie
4 Reporter
2 POR
2 Steven's Advice
3 Briney
3 Battle Searcher
3 Rare Candy

This version takes a longer time to setup, but gets turn two more probable then any other version! Yay! ^_^ Azurill looks for candy, steven's because corsola's gone, etc. 2/2 POR Steven's, simply because Azurill will search for whichevah one will fit the situation best!

----------------------------------------------

Pokemon: 21
4 Igglybuff
3 Corsola
2 Squirtle
3 Blastoise ex
2 Feebas
2 Milotic
1 Team Aqua's Spheal
4 Team Aqua's Walrein

Energy: 18 Water

Trainers: 21
4 Archie
4 Reporter
3 POR
3 Briney
3 Battle Searcher
4 Candy

Yay! Good deck, only 18 energy because Iggly finds energy with its attack. The Team Aqua's Spheal just because I had space...and 4 Candy because, once again, there is no Azurill.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Azurill is starting to stand out less after what Fiziks said...Corsola will find me a candy if I use four, no? So why not do that, and get other cards? I like the way ya think, man. The Spheal won me a game against Amphy, I'm not doubting its use anymore.

Preferences? Which deck do you like? Fixes for any of them? You absolutively posolutely hate this thread and think it should die (actually, it's about time...)? Post it!

***per, the REAL creator of this deck...*mumble, mumble*
:D :D :D

Im seeing the 3rd deck being the strongest. Blastoise is an awesome card; use it, abuse it, and dont lose it.

I've perfected the list. I see no more use for this topic, which was to gather ideas for the deck and perfect it, rather than to make myself famous and inform the masses. This was not my intention.

If you're interested in seeing the best list I have to offer, PM me or AIM me at RecnepS0070. I won't release it easily, though, just to those who I think I should show it to. If I don't want to give it to you, that's that, and what I say goes! :D

Here's a hint about the list: It combines elements from all three decks above.
Hint two: The starting pokemon are Igglybuff and Corsola.
Hint three: It's not any of the lists I've posted anywhere on this thread, although there are several good versions here.

Thank you Patriarch, Hero, Mudkip, Fiziks, Magnechu, Jermy, Gymbo, WPM, Pidgeotto Trainer, and anybody else I missed who helped get this to the point it's at now.

Been great working will you all, but no more posts, please. PM me or AIM for list, to talk about deck. I'll probably repost something like this if Milotic is translated like I hope it is. I'll continue to post the record of the deck in my signature, yaddah yaddah blah blah...like any of u pay attention to me anyways. ^_^

Please don't lock this thread or delete it, keep it up, but let's let it die until the time comes for me to awaken it again.

Cya at Woilds 2005! (I'll be the kid with the show-off attitude and bragging that I invented this deck, and mumbling under my breath *Patriarch helped some*... :D :D :D :D :D )

Buh bye now...

Ummm, I didn't help you. You did this all by yourself.

Nooo! The nice round number of 180 has been lost! Waaah...*sniff* might as well make it 182...

Well...you posted here! And I didn't do this by myself. I did a lot, granted, I playtested on my own, but Mudkip, Hero, Patriarch, and Squirrel helped a lot, so I owe them some credit.

I have confidence in this decks success. Should be a lot of fun to play w/ wooper. GL with it in the future ;o
