That's very bad practice; scrollbars should be enabled in those frames.PokeMasterFlabface said:Be sure to have your computer resolution to at least 1024 by 768 pixels and have the window maximized. Usually anything lower than that resolution may not show up all the way.
We have actually scanned at a higher resolution than PokeBeach, but have set our Gallery software to display at a lower resolution, to save on how much data we have to pump out to your computer. This saves us bandwidth and reduces the time it takes to load the image. If you have the need to see the card in a larger than life view, that can be done in the Gallery posting of the card images.Jedi_Amara said:I like the navigability of this, but the scan quality is decidedly lower than Beach's.
You make some good points. We generally do not spend a lot of time on adjusting the images, and we have several different people doing the set so it gets up quickly. We'll discuss some standards for image manipulation. Thanks for your comments.Jedi_Amara said:While the resolution may be higher, the scans themselves are more blurry; they hurt the eyes. Scanning at a really high resolution isn't actually required, but maybe you could run your images through a filter.
As an example, this is more readable than this (your original scan); I ran it through an unsharp mask and then adjusted the brightness and contrast to make it closer to the original image.
