Kingdra and Magby serve the same purpose here. One or the other should go. The easy fix is to swap Magby out for Cleffa.

If you feel confident enough against Goth with just the single Magby, then the whole Kingdra line can go. You could swap a 2-2 line of Ninetales in those spots, but then you should have more fire in the deck to make that worth it. Using the last spot for a Cleffa and swapping the 2 Engineer's for two more Fire would even you up. you might also want to consider taking the 2 Rescue for 1 more Fire and 1 Revive.

The second group of changes would leave you with a 2-2 Ninetales, 1 Cleffa, 1 Revive, and 13 Fire in exchange for the Kingdra line, both Engineer's, and both Rescue.

Why not run Magby, Heartgold?

And what's wrong w/ Engineer's Adjustment? I can get the energy right back w/ Typhlosion. It's been a very good draw card for this deck.

2 Rescue Energy and 10 Fire Energy seem like the perfect amount for this deck.

Because, besides igglypuff, it may be the single worst baby poke in this format. I don' t even like kingdra, play for consistency. Consistency will win you more games on average.

You still didn't give me a good reason to not play Magby. Burn plus Kingdra's sniping help soften up the opponents for Reshiram/Typhlosion.

Then why run PlusPower? Since Kingdra/Magby put the extra 10/20 damge on, you shouldn't need PPower since these two act as them.

Yeah I thought about that...what would you suggest replacing them with?

-2 Plus Power

+1 Junk Arm
+1 Draw Support like PONT or something
