Drop the 2 Premier Balls for 2 Uxie, so you got some draw-power.
And if your opponent doesn't have any basic pokemon in his/her hand your Lumineon does notting
Yeah, I'd like to have Uxie's drawpower FlareonEX, and wouldn't mind losing them via Palkia G's Lost Cyclone...but they get in the way during restructure, unless I also add psychic energies to load onto Flygon. It's kind of a hassle, and not sure I want to lose the ability to draw Lv X's since the deck uses 3. I'd considered just taking premier balls out in favor of x4 Level Max's as I really want to level those Palkias up on the bench. Hate the flippies though.
As for Lumineon, you're right, it won't always pull a basic. But if you've got a switch or warp point to use (likely, since I put 8 in the deck), you lose nothing for checking now and then and pulling Lumineon back to the bench after. If you do fish a basic out of their hand, you drag it right up to Active for the probable kill, so I think it's a decent strategy.
I like this idea very much, like mentioned though, your set up will thake time, and isn't the easiest one to do, in special if your opponent has played once vs this deck and knows how it works to use his Inspector Gadget to the max.
However it still can dish out nasty damage. In special if the lv. X is there, discarding the top card sometimes means they can't win anymore, in special when they have used their Night Maintanance.
Thanks Killax. You're right, it really can be an awkward set up, and really haven't tested it much to see how it runs. Machamp is a big problem too with the Palkias if they get stuck active. I suppose I could try to add Unown G's to shield them, but hate the prospects of trying to get them in and attached in time to avoid Take Outs...it just always seems so iffy. What do you think? Plus, the Palkias are really only bench techs once set up.
What's Inspector Gadget? Is that Looker's? Must be. Don't know...that can work against them too if I'm set up as they could pull some new basics I can fish with Lumineon, right? Thoughts for changes to the deck?
Running both Palkia and Palkia G may backfire, since your opponent chooses which Pokemon to send to the Lost Zone. They may choose to cut their losses and just send the ones you already damaged (especially if they know they have 3 more.) That can be tough against decks like Kingdra and Machamp who have massive hp to try and get rid of and can just swarm as-is. Also, Alakazan E4 Lv X would be even more trouble there. Also, most decks do have Pokémon they can spare.
Well Godzfirefly, couldn't I just use restructure to drag my opponent's damaged pokemon to active and THEN use Lost Cyclone? Plus, remember, I have the
ability, not the
obligation to use Lost Cyclone, right (it's a power, not a body)? Couldn't I decide to just pass if an opponent loaded damage onto one or more of their pokemon planning to dump it to the lost zone, and just decide to restructure it/tme to active and take it/them out?
