Drop the 2 Premier Balls for 2 Uxie, so you got some draw-power.

And if your opponent doesn't have any basic pokemon in his/her hand your Lumineon does notting :(

I like this idea very much, like mentioned though, your set up will thake time, and isn't the easiest one to do, in special if your opponent has played once vs this deck and knows how it works to use his Inspector Gadget to the max.

However it still can dish out nasty damage. In special if the lv. X is there, discarding the top card sometimes means they can't win anymore, in special when they have used their Night Maintanance.

Running both Palkia and Palkia G may backfire, since your opponent chooses which Pokemon to send to the Lost Zone. They may choose to cut their losses and just send the ones you already damaged (especially if they know they have 3 more.) That can be tough against decks like Kingdra and Machamp who have massive hp to try and get rid of and can just swarm as-is. Also, Alakazan E4 Lv X would be even more trouble there. Also, most decks do have Pokémon they can spare.

Yeah, I'd like to have Uxie's drawpower FlareonEX, and wouldn't mind losing them via Palkia G's Lost Cyclone...but they get in the way during restructure, unless I also add psychic energies to load onto Flygon. It's kind of a hassle, and not sure I want to lose the ability to draw Lv X's since the deck uses 3. I'd considered just taking premier balls out in favor of x4 Level Max's as I really want to level those Palkias up on the bench. Hate the flippies though.

As for Lumineon, you're right, it won't always pull a basic. But if you've got a switch or warp point to use (likely, since I put 8 in the deck), you lose nothing for checking now and then and pulling Lumineon back to the bench after. If you do fish a basic out of their hand, you drag it right up to Active for the probable kill, so I think it's a decent strategy.

Thanks Killax. You're right, it really can be an awkward set up, and really haven't tested it much to see how it runs. Machamp is a big problem too with the Palkias if they get stuck active. I suppose I could try to add Unown G's to shield them, but hate the prospects of trying to get them in and attached in time to avoid Take Outs...it just always seems so iffy. What do you think? Plus, the Palkias are really only bench techs once set up.

What's Inspector Gadget? Is that Looker's? Must be. Don't know...that can work against them too if I'm set up as they could pull some new basics I can fish with Lumineon, right? Thoughts for changes to the deck?

Well Godzfirefly, couldn't I just use restructure to drag my opponent's damaged pokemon to active and THEN use Lost Cyclone? Plus, remember, I have the ability, not the obligation to use Lost Cyclone, right (it's a power, not a body)? Couldn't I decide to just pass if an opponent loaded damage onto one or more of their pokemon planning to dump it to the lost zone, and just decide to restructure it/tme to active and take it/them out?

No Upper Energy? Don't you need that?

Hmm...I don't think so. The only attacker is really Flygon, which needs three. The others are just techs, I think if you're attacking with Palkias, you're in trouble. In fact, I really need to build in a bigger Flygon Line to ensure I can set one up and maybe have a back-up if I lose one. This deck would seem to lose if you let your opponent get set up enough to take enough prize cards to activate your upper energies. Still, I could try a few uppers and see. What would you take out?

-1 warp point (i know its essential but if you just take out 1 i don't think that it will effect you that badly)
-2 water
+1 call energy
+2 upper energy

hope this helps-Mamoswine42

Well, I don't really see where extra energies help much. Are you thinking that they turn the Palkias into attackers in time of need? Anyway, I'll try it, maybe you're right, thanks for the suggestion Mamoswine42 and Alazor.

EDIT: Added a variant that might be easier to play: Floating Pink Fish. Check it out.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Floating Pink Fish

3-2-3-1 Flygon Lv X RR (Sure...go ahead and use whichever Trapinch and Vibrava you want!)
2-2 Palkia Lv X GE
2-2 Lumineon SF (Fin Luster)
2-2 Claydol
2 Unown G
23 Pokemon

4 Bebe's Search
4 Roseanne's Research
4 Poke'drawer
4 Switch
2 Rare Candy
2 Night Maintenance
2 Premier Ball
1 Luxury Ball
23 Trainers/Supporters

6 Water Energy :water:
4 Fighting Energy :fighting:
4 Call Energy :colorless
14 Energy

Strategy: Like my Twin Powers deck, but without the Palkia G X/Lost Cyclone. Palkia Lv X still Restructures the heck out of their team. Flygon is there to attack and take out Lv X's. Lumineon is a tech to fish easy targets into active position to attack, using Switches to move Lumineon back to bench. Flygon's Rainbow Float allows free retreat to Palkia or Lumineon after you use Restructure.

Now that Palkia G doesn't limit your bench size, you can add Claydols (don't forget to add in fighting energies to float your Claydols away after Restructure) and an extra Lumineon. Less fun to play once set up but faster and Power Swing can hit for 90 or more as you can have more evolved pokemon on your bench.
