Ok I changed the list a little bit after few test games.

Pokemon:

3x Budew(DP)
4x Rhyhorn(EM)
3x Rhydon(DP)
4x Rhyperior(DP)
2x Chikorita d(DF)
1x Bayleef d(DF)
2x Meganium d(DF)
=19

Trainer:
4x Holon Transciever
3x Holon Mentor
1x Holon Adventurer
1x Holon Scientist
1x Holon Researcher
1x Holon Farmer
2x Celio's Network
4x Rare Candy
4x Mr. Briney's Compassion
3x Windstorm
4x SSU
1x Holon Circle
=29

Energy:
4x Scramble
3x DRE
1x Warp Energy
2x Fighting Energy
1x Heal Energy
1x Holon's Magnemite
=12

So the strategy is to deck the opponent with continous Briney/SSU and Rhyperior Combo. Or if they play ex heavy decks you can simply hit them down with Rhyperior. But remember to have more prizes than your opponent in the beginning if you think that you can win the game with hitting them down. Budew is for beginning, you can sacrifice 1-2 of them in beginning.

I edited Meganium to the list because it's just GREAT with SSU's and Brineys. It also helps with getting fast many Rhyperiors out with Budew.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HP-ON Rhyperior:

Pokemon:

4x Skitty(PK)
3x Delcatty(PK)
1x Delcatty ex(CG)
4x Rhyhorn(DP)
3x Rhydon(DP)
4x Rhyperior(DP)
2x Chimling(DP2)
=21

Trainer:

4x Holon Mentor(DF)
4x Rare Candy(HP)
4x SSU(DP)
4x Celio's Network(CG)
3x Windstorm(CG)
3x Night Maintenance(DP2)
=22

4x Scramble
2x DRE
3x Warp Energy
5x Fighting Energy
3x Heal Energy
=17

Chimling L.6 – Psychic – HP40
Basic Pokemon

Poke-Power: Baby Evolution
Once during your turn, you may play Chimecho on top of Chimling (this counts as Evolving Chimling) and remove all damage counters from Chimling.

[.] Welcoming Bell: Search your deck for a Supporter card, show it to your opponent, and put it in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

Weakness: Psychic (+10)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Night Maintenance - Trainer

Search your discard pile for 3 in any combination of Pokemon and Basic Energy cards, show them to your opponent, and shuffle them into your deck.

So here we find a different strategy. Use Delcatty's to draw the cards you need. You can Sacrifice the Chimlings like in the original build. Come behind disturbing with Rhyperior's and Delcatty exs power. Use Scrambles for hitting, other energy for discarding. DREs are great for late game.

I need/want fixes for the both of the lists, so fix/comment which you want to or both, your choice. Thanks in advance.

another neat idea is unknow d. Its fun to eat away at there deck with rhy but to force them to draw with unknown makes it smaller as well. Speed stadium sorta tempts them if they really need that certain card from there deck, and its great watching them get 3-4 cards. Last but not least, field worker... Thats right, field worker. Its 50-50 that they draw that card in late game but they almost always except it early game. I like to call the deck temptation. It runs smooth and it fun winning by decking someone in pkmn.

I think you need to max out on the Brineys and SSUs (4 each). Budew is not a bad starter wince you can graba trainer card, but I kinda prefer azuril. Delivery lets you get any 1 card back from your discard pile, including the RC you just used, a Brineys you used already. They are nice to retrieve a needed card to do the quick Rhyperior power. Plus, they are nice "cannon fodder" to sac to activate an early scramble beat down w/ a Rhyp.

I like the field worker idea for draw, but once the oppo sees it is a Rhyp. deck, they most likely wont take the "bait". Holon circle is also needed later in the game, after you have smacked a player w/ Rhyp., you cannot attack next turn, if you dont have a switch, SSU or Brineys to use to change out the active, you can lay the stadium and save the Rhyp for one more turn (unless they have the windstorm/counter stadium). The 140 HP hunk is hard to KO.

Unown D is optional for the oppo too, so I wouldnt use it.

I've seen the Jirachi DX starter used in this deck also. Helps get the evo's out, RCs, etc, plus it is cannon fodder to activate the scramble.

No to the Holon Magnemite....if you start with it...UGH. Not the biggest fan of the holon engine in this deck bc you dont really want to toss alot of things away. Now, you could tech in a 1-1 line of Driftloom. The evo will allow you to get a combo of 5 cards of Pokes and/or supporters to go into the deck from discard. This is a way to recycle the Brineys and some Rhy's (if KO'd). You could go with great balls, master balls and duel balls to get basics instead of Mentors via the holon line. Just a different way of playing the deck.

GL at Worlds.

vekku Mc Virppa: Yeah I should get some sleep...

Chromecatz: Hmm, sounds like a nice idea, but there's a problem in those, because they are easily killed by speed spread, RaiEggs, Empoleon/marowak and they're exs. I don't want to give free prizes to my opponent and get more bad starters after I already have 1 of those. But thanks for your insight.

Lilgroudon: Thanks, found some spots for them.

stalkerex: Hmm, I can't find free spot for Fieldworkers because I prefer getting Budew starts with Holon Engine. And yep, I took those Speed Stadium away.

Lawman: I maxed out Brineys but couldn't fit the 4th SSU, but I think it should be enough. So Azurill from DP, I think it's not as good as Budew because you can't do anything with it if your opening hand is total garbage.

Jirachi(DX) is a good starter as well, but I find it worse than Budew because it has a Power. If my opponent lays an early CC I have to use Windstorm for it and they can lock me down late game, so I won't have a chance decking them. This really was my second choice for starter.

As I already said, I can't find a palce for Fieldworker, of course it could be great if my opponent were "stupid" enough to draw a card from it, but it's so optional that I don't want to risk my Holon Engine for it.

I find Magnemite also risky but without it I should hope that 1 of my 6 energies that I can attach to my basic pokemon is in my opening hand, so I'll take the risk that I start with it. Otherwise I won't ever get Budew to actice pokemon position.

I'm not a big fan of the Ball engine, not at least in this deck. But I can sense Keith that you've already tested it because of coming Hp-on format , am I right? It's true that this deck doesn't want to disc much but I think that Holon Engine is just too versatile with Budew so I just have to play it because of consistancy.

I just wanted to help my friends at Worlds because I didn't get there this year, so I'll appreciate further help. Thanks a lot to all who have already helped!

I understand the consistency issue w/ the H. engine and the use of budew. Once the Holon engine gets rotatated out, I think (for the deck to survive, which it may not w/ the Fer coming), the balls will be necessary. I also ran a larger Queen line than 1-1, to prevent prizing a piece. Like I said, different styles for folks. I like your build, just giving suggestions. :)

Keith

PS My Rhyp deck is still in need of work too!

Not the best list I've seen..
You need to use Drifblim.
And Warp is totally unnecessary.
I won't you give you the perfect list though, as I want my friends to do good @ Worlds.. ;/

I would run 4 celiby ex, that's like haveing 8 brineys!! That means you can discard 36 cards form their deck!!!:eek::eek: If that's not enough to deck them then nothing is.

Lawman: Thought so, but thanks for your wide help for the deck.

Ardoptres: Hmm, yeah thanks for the "help". And no wonder if this isn't the best list because I've never played Rhyperior, as I said I just threw cards together and have never played with it. But of course people at Worlds will netdeck your friends' decklists and tech just against them at Worlds =P Yeah right...But I understand.

Edit: 4 Celebi exs aren't a good idea IMO.

People keep suggesting Driftblims, so what should I took off for them?

-1 Warp energy and -1 Mentor to get to 1-1 Drif line.

Just a suggestion. You will probably only need 2 mentors at most, and you can recycle 1 from discard w/ Drif or the use of another trans.

Keith

I don't know, I like my Rhyperior with Delcatty not Queen. Lots of Draw to get the cards you need, plus make them discard their hand.

Ardoptres: But of course people at Worlds will netdeck your friends' decklists and tech just against them at Worlds =P?
Lol, i meant i don't want you to beat them.. xp
Use 2-2 Drifblim.
Are you really going to use this @ worlds?? I mean, if you "just threw it together"..

-3 Budew
-1 Roselia

+4 Jirachi DX

-1 Drifblim
-1 Drifbloom

+1 Holon Circle

-1 Windstorm
-1 Warp Energy

+1 Nidoran d
+1 Nidorina d
+1 Nidoqueen d

And try to fit a celebi ex p2 in.

Nope, I just built it for Worlds. I think you know my story. 2055 points, your friends going up 300 points from BRs losing to noone and going to Worlds leaving me 5th. Sour grapes anyone =P So I'm just trying to help my friends at Worlds and maybe building a deck for the next format. What would you tka eaway for those Drifblims.

Edit: Old School Player:

I think that 2 Windstorm aren't enough if I put more pokemons that use pokemon powers...And I still prefer Budew over Jirachi because budew doesn't use power. But that's just me.

Oh, I thought you were GOING to world, lol.
Are you in Masters?

The perfect pokemon line is this:

4-2-4 Rhyreior
2-2 Magcargo
2 Unown D
2-2 Drifblim

:)

Some things to consider:

1) You may wish to reassess your starter, perhaps play something with straight draw. It is advantageous for the rhyperior player to have a large hand size, since that will force opponents to copycat/scientist your bigger hand (and thus draw more cards from their deck). There are a variety of options as far as this goes, from lickitung to yanma to dunsparce and on.

2) Your trainer engine is okay, but I think you'd be better served with a scott/mentor engine. Scott is spectacular in a rhyperior deck, mostly because it can grab a combination of brineys and holon circles. Castaway might also work, particularly if you're interested in abusing a rhyperior/fluffy berry or rhyperior/energy root combo (rhyperior and fluffy berry, combined with dunsparce, would be intriguing - hit for 80, retreat, confuse, bring back in the wall, hit for 80 again). Again, a bunch of straight draw would do well - keeping your hand size up there.

3) Don't be afraid to diversify on techs, and do try to keep your bench large. Couple of reasons for this - if your opponent plays Steven's Advice, you want them drawing the 6 cards. Further, if your opponent drops a giant stump (popular in decks like absolutions, among others), it'll allow you to discard a rhyperior or two, which you can then put back in your deck via farmer. It's kind of like a free briney.

doesnt dx-on rhyperior run stumps? and maxed out ssu's. all of the other posted advice is legit. so good job on those fixes.

i dont know that the warp is for either.
