Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Rochester Hills Michigan Tournaments

Sean and Matt took a draw in the Finals!

We are playing this Saturday 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM. I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!

I'll be there Saturday but my comrade Brian won't be. :( He is in New Orleans. And will be back Sunday. And I'm going to get him it's supposed to be 90 degrees all week there and partly sunny. *I checked with Yahoo Weather* while we are having 79 degrees and partly sunny with rain. :( Well I'll see ya all Saturday.

Who did what this past weekend?
Does any body know when the Sevii league starts @ Rochester?
And, is September 25th sanctioned/ League that day???

The results from last Saturday, 9-11 , have been entered with PUI! Congratulations to Ron!

This Saturday is sanctioned for modified play! We will also be starting our new league season this Saturday as well. It runs through 10-30-04. See Derek's post on the Sevii Island league rules. I have to follow them as well. Sanction tournament games do not count for points in your league books.

I will not be playing in the tournament this weekend. Anybody wanting to play pick-up games with another player or myself will recieve stamps in their books!

The results have been entered from yesterday's tournament congratulation to Matt T. Your Orcales saved you throughout the day. Remember they need to come out by October 1! Oracle has not been reprinted.

We are sanctioned for the next three week, 9-25, 10-2 and 10-9 for modified play.

Players also did a good job of doing league games in between rounds and staying after the tournament was done to play games for the stamps in the League books. Mike received the most stamps and will be the Premier Trainer next Saturday!

We also had a special guest yesterday, Dan from the western part of the state. Thank you for coming to the Shack!

See everyone Saturday September 25 about 11:00 AM!

I know, double post. But, is their like a "challenge" that your deck has to follow to get a pop pack or something else. If their is, please post because, I wasn't their last week and will be their this week. Just want to know what kind of deck I should build or what kind of strategy I need to know.
Another question, can you play the Premier trainer ( Mike) 6 times in one league session and get a pack?

Yes, there is a challenge. The Sevii Challenge is this, make a deck with NO TRAINERS and play ten games with it. If you do you receive a Magmar sticker! :)

Yes, if you play Mike 6 times in one league session (a session runs from September 19 through October 30) you will recieve a POP Series One booster pack.

Hope this helps!

Hello Everyone,

Today's tournament has been entered and reported to POP! :) Thank you to the new people today, Jeff D (Touranment) and Charles (League) for attending for the first time! :) Congratulations to Matt T for another win using Blaziken and Bellossom. Kudos to Eric and his deck (which I will keep silent) and their second place finish.

Remember, next Saturday the modified format changes to Ruby/Sapphire-on! I will be doing deck checks! :nonono: Please take out your Copycats and Oracles Matt!

Also, I will have updated League rules so the spirit of playing games doesn't get compromised like it was today with the Magikarp deck.

See everyone Saturday!!

( I know I'm going to sound realllllly stupid) But can one given league have their own set of rules against certain cards and/or certain decks?
Also, does the "Boon island" or w/e it is called star on Oct30th or Nov6th?

Magikarp and fossils were rule-bending but, I've never seen that done before. I actually built a no-trainer deck w/ a Strategy! ( I looked through the badge book and AS OF RIGHT NOW Magikarp and Fossils apply for most if not all challenges!)

An Armaldo EX just went for $125.00. Yay!!!

Yeah, Magikarp/Fossils applies to nearly, if not all, the challenges, so something has to be done I guess.

I won't be here this coming week, but no biggy, I can get my badge and premier trainer status the following week if all goes well.

I still think something needs to be done about cards, decks, and stuff for the league, to prevent this during the next Island.

We STILL need to have fun people! =P

PS: Yay for Armaldo EX...you know what I got, Surkskit, Plusle, Minun, and Larvitar, how utterly craptastic.

Yes people I'm sorry if I got upset but me and Brian and Matt C. did build decks with out trainers that were good decks and not cheap decks. That's why it took us a long time to play. XD I'll be there this week but I'm not going to do the tourney I'm going to just play league games. Because I just want a week off and Brian's not going to be here. So see ya Saturday.

Yes, a league may decide to play a certain format to keep things fair and balanced.
I'd have to look at the boon thing. But I dont think POP would have a problem with a league starting or ending a day or two early late etc as to fit their play schedules.

I know one league that started two days early and one that started a week late. Both will run six weeks though
