This is tough to believe. I know plenty of Team R people, and quite frankly, they are much smarter than this idea. There is nothing stopping the opponent from retreating, 4 damage counters, maybe 6, but that isn't a big deal to bring something fresh up to knock out the Shiftry.

Power lock is the best thing about this deck, but the strategy doesn't work as well as you say, simply put.

Good point, but realize that the only reason you'd want to retreat anyway is if you're confused. If you are, that means you've already taken at least 40 damage. 40 more damage, and an energy attachment is a heavy price to pay to get that active to the bench.

Dialga is the decks toughest match up, as the strategy simple doesn't do anything.
Luckily, due to the rise of LuxApe, Dialga is seeing far less play.

LuxApe is a fairly tough, as you have to be wary of the weakness to fire. However, that comes up very rarely. The opponent would have to be lucky enough to actually start with Infernape, and all the cards necessary to go T2 Lv. X, despite being Power Locked, and having a potential hand size of 4.

All I have to say is good luck beating dialga or inferay.

Beats Dialga if you play with more than half your brain, but it loses bad to Inferay.

I'm not speaking on any team R authority, as I could care less what any of them play since i'm not going to nats, I'm just talking Shiftry in general (which I like as a card even though it has its bad matchups for sure).

I have played this. Unless it is much better than my build it wont win. (Which I expect it is) But It seems as though Luxape Kills this

Our opinions differ. </3

If Omar, or Ryan were at home now, they'd surely back me on this, but unfortunately, they're staying at my good friends, the Maldonaldo's house, tonight.

Inferay could easily donk this with a good hand, also. Seedot only has 40 HP. D:

Any deck can donk any other deck....
You can't use donks as a means to determine match-ups...
Donks are 100% luck, lukc is a factor in the game ,but not in specific match-ups.

Team R does NOT approve this thread.

Mhm, yeah, I realize that I'm pretty much gone now. This was something I've always wanted to do. Leak a big deck like this and whatnot.

Of Course you wouldn't approve. You've never approved of anything I've done (other than giving you an Italian Roselia LM that was named, or had an attacked named Bianchi at Worlds '06)In fact now that I think about it, I wish I hadn't listed you in the People I care about section :'(((
