Serperior Tank

Serperior's ability to heal is irrelevant when it can be easily one-shot regardless of any Metapod.

Zekrom or Reshiram w/ PP (practically a staple).

You'll be seeing a lot of those.

Because Vileplume obviously outspeeds Zekrom/Reshiram.
I can get out it out reasonably fast. Of course they will take a prize or 2, but that allows me to Twins.

Anyway, back on topic, I'm considering testing Interviewer's since I rarely draw into the Energy I need.
Anyone tried this out?

Yeah, the Interviewer's is something you are going to want. I can barely draw into my energy as well, but for some reason I keep dropping them. They are also nice because that is what I use to get my Rescue Energy. Btw, how does that Vileplume work out for you? People are always complaining that my Serperiors can be one-shot by a Reshiram/Zekrom with a Pluspower and the Vileplume might work out for me. With a 1-0-1 line, how easy is it for you to get out?

Honestly testing this deck out, I've found that the deck just lacks damage output compared to the rest of the metagame, like Zekrom, Reshiboar etc. I don't really see the deck working, which is a shame because it looked like it could have been awesome.

Honestly, this deck does not need damage for it to be good. What matters is its survivability. If I felt that it really lacked damage, then I could just add a few Pluspowers or something. Damage does not matter if the opponent will not be able to touch me (with a few exceptions). Upon further thought, if I were to add a few disruptive cards to this deck, like Judge for instance, it might improve this deck further.

If set up correctly, Zekrom/Reshiram can't one-shot you.
However, decks such as DonChamp, Magnezone and BlastGatr can win easily.

They have the ability to OHKO you, where you struggle to 2HKO them, which can only be done with pluspower.

Well, if you what you said is true and you sacrifice a couple of prizes to set up, then you could use the extra 40 damage to hit hard?

With Black belt, you have to be ahead in prizes, correct? I'm starting to use a Serperior Tank deck myself but my opponent is capable of getting about a prize (sometimes two) ahead. Wouldn't adding in a couple black belts take away from the delicacy of this type of decks trainer card setup?

Oh my complete fail, I was completely misunderstanding the reading of it >.> My apologies.

But still, wouldn't adding them in take away from the effectiveness of the prementioned trainer list options?

It blows my mind that there's no BTS in this list.

That is all.

It's meant to be AR-On because that was the predicted format, then it turned out to be HS-on, so it's kind of a mixture of the both. If you look around somewhere you'd probably find a HS-on list.
