Interesting. So the old Rainbows said Basic types, but the new ones don't?

YEP!!! SURE DON'T

:pokeball: Qoute from rainbow and multi energy
While in play, Rainbow (multi) Energy provides every type of Energy but provides only 1 Energy at a time. (Doesn't count as a basic Energy card when not in play.)

it seems that basic was replaced with type.

but why wouldn't colorless be considered a basic type - since there is so many of them... i'm playing devil's advocate.

A letter is missing from the second column of the Fortune Island word scramble

Hay NoPoke I solved the word scramble and I found out the letter L is missing from the second column.

what if a League Leader is using League Promos as prizes for unsanctioned tournaments in place of League play?

Also they should almost add it to the rules that the league leaders collect the books, that way no one will have to make up all there league points if they loose the books right when they are almost at the last stamp needed to get there promos, since it is not the LL's responsibility to remember how many stamps each player had the last time they were at your league.

i have to go back and read and see if the instructions say anything about wiether or not u r allowed to use these 2-card packs for tournies

and i agree ... it should not be the LL's responsibilty to remember where a player is in thier book for stamps. I average about 30 players a league.. so i definitly have them leave thier books at my league

Think it over - each kit support 10 players, and includes 10 badge books and 20 boosters (for the first season of the new year). Each player can receive only two boosters - one for obtaining a minimum number of points, and a second by battling a Premiere Trainer six times - each season.

If the League Leader uses ANY of the boosters for other purposes, then there aren't sufficient quantities to award to players as intended for League play...

And, yeah, the instructions say you can't.

If each player can only receive 2 then how is anyone supposed to get all 17, unless people trade great cards not very good promo cards from those packs (since none of them are really playable accept for one or two) or buy them on ebay for alot of cash.

A maximum of two per person, per league season. Then include any boosters won at sanctioned events, or as prize support at prereleases...

Ya, well what about players that just play in leagues because they feel they are not good enough or don't have good enough cards to play in sanctioned events. Every player should be able to get the full set through leagues, otherwise they are making them really difficult to get for those who don't play at that higher level play tournaments, JMO.

Two per person, per league season. The availability of the 'series one' cards is supposed to be for as I recall, at LEAST 6 months...
