Should I just SELL my AMU Deck ???

I just have to ask, how the heck can anyone afford to run this deck? Then again, people ran LBS, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised...
Given that AMU is so hyped now, it might be wise to cash in now if the hype fails to live up. Or, if it does somehow go on to be a major archtype, well at least you got your money out of it.

Guys, I bought BOXES.. traded... attended like FOUR prereleases ... and FINALLY got my AMU deck together (because I found the deck so interesting)
I FINALLY tossed out all of the proxies and got ahold of 2 TSDs, 5 LvXs etc..
Dude... this thing was a BEAST to get together (with real cards).
After all of this trouble though... I noticed that SO MANY PEOPLE were talking as if they were going to run this deck also...
Is this going to be like G&G where you show up and EVERYONE ELSE HAS ONE ??
It's crazy. I went to league, and looked down the row of tables I was sitting.
There were PSYCHIC DECK/PURPLE cards as far as the eye could see....... on every table and all the way down the rows.
Man, we may as well have LAID A PURPLE TABLECLOTH and played w/ blank paper. Why not? We all knew what the other had in his/her deck !!
There's alot of hype about AMU that got started by "AMU threads"
.. .but are THIS MANY PEOPLE REALLY going to run it at TOURNEY? or is everyone just having fun w/ it ??

Me. I'm now leaning towards opening all 14 of my collection binders, tossing 3 coins in the air above them. Where ever the 3 coins land, there's my deck idea.
Just because it's too darn crazy/impractical to become another widespread trend!!!
I'm pretty much at the point of putting the entire deck up for sale and recouperating SOME of the money/pain/suffering that got me to the point of completing this now played-out (before even played) deck .. ...
I guess it's back to the rogue decks... back to studying each card binder like an April Final Exam.
Or perhaps your goal was to build the AMU deck ant now that you have built it, you search for another deck to build.

anyways this deck is kinda a big hype. There certainly is ups and downs taking down everything Kingdra cant beat, and Kingdra beats you... its like a triangle for BRs and everything is Viable which is the wonder of the new format :thumb:

Play it,u built it already. But be warned, Froslass will take you're deck and turn it upside down.

Meh, from what I've seen, either it gets set up and is great, or doesn't and falls flat. Just my opinion though... :thumb:
AMU will actually fail once Stormfront comes out. It's to over powered.
I'm not saying that AMU won't be good, but, who knows. No one can actually predict how any deck will become after a new set comes out.
I guess if you really want to sell it, you might want to do it fast, or else theres a possibility of it going down in price if Stormfront is truly as broken as it seems.

AMU really is not that great.
I don't understand why people are hyping it so much.
AMU and Kingdra are WAY too overhyped. There will be so many good rogue decks floating around that these 2 decks will be almost as obsolete as everything else.

you did build it and go through the hassle, I don;t think you could turn profit or break even on it cause no one should drop that kind of cash for a BR< but I would play it since u got it and it is consitent and packs a punch

I bought Japanese Pixies before the US release of LA. Much cheaper then. Plan ahead. :thumb:
Since then I've gotten 2 of the English level Xs but I'm looking for bargains since I can always run the Japanese ones.

All the Lv.x in my AMU are jpn. :lol: Just glad that they don't do anything overly complicated so my opponents shouldnt have to hard a time remembering what they do.
