Should Slowking be Errata'd?

why errate slowking???
vileplume_ex is much worse then slowking. with vileplume you don't have to flip any coins.
and there are enough decks that kicks slowking. snichu...zapchu...

After further consideration I'm thinking that potentialy 4 Slowking T1, real good shot at 3 T1, easy to get 2 T1, is pretty broken. More broken that Blastiose/TA Walrein/Suicune EX? Beggs the question of the whole of unlimited's standing all together possibly.

Well if you go by the current floor rules then at an INTERNATIONAL tournament you follow the Japanese card text.

So will PUI follow their own floor rules and play FireStarter as only one per turn? Could be interesting if the TOP Japanese players turn up with Metagross/Furret decks and object to all those multiple firestarters played by the rest of the world.

WOTC tried really hard to avoid ERRATA, banning cards, or restrictions. WOTC closely followed their own floor rules. PUI have shown themselves to be much more likely to ERRATA cards and make quite dramatic changes to how the game is played. So with WOTC in charge I'd anticipate that Slowking would be left untouched. Sadly its impossible to predict what PUI will do :( (as a side issue its the lack of predictability that makes being a floor judge much harder under PUI than under WOTC)

There isnt ar eal problem with blaziken though. Do you see blaziken decks winning everysingle game anytime anyone evers plays them? No. Blaziken isnt a "godly" card that overwhelms everyone else. As far as I see it, there isnt anything wrong with blaziken. That being said though I realise that there wasnt really anything wrong with Feebas, and yet they changed it. So I dont know. I say slowking should be erratad.

It's actually interesting, once a year, there is a topic asking about either errataing or banning slowking. I don't think it'll be changed. PUI's focus is on modified, they wouldn't go through the trouble of placing erratum on a card that has been out for so long, not when so many other cards would also need to be changed as well. For example, the non holo dark vileplume, or Unown D, M and N.

Vileplume, to an extent, is much worse. However, it only affects supporters and it has to be Active, something that most players dont want. And its true that there are many ways to counter slowking, but most of the attempts never work because they are too slow compared to Slowking's process

Blaziken won't be errata'd, it was translated correctly. As for errata'ing slowking, go ahead. But, thats the least of peopel worries in unlimited these days(the format died with the first turn evo ruling thing)
