Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Sorting your Cards

I have:
Level X's in one binder, all rares seperated by set and put in order by collecter number in another, and the commons/uncommons sorted by set in cardboard trading card boxes. Oh and trainers and energies have cardboard boxes, too.

All my cards are in binders by # by set so DP MT SW etc some sets have more than others so i have several binders. Energy in a tin from a while back. All my illegal/excess cards are in cardboard card boxes. (i think 990 counts)

Our cards are SO organized, I'm embarrassed to even tell you the setup :/

I can assure you... it's quite fanatical.

Hint: Our cards have their own furniture... :nonono:

Mine are all sorted by set, and by number. In the 5000 count boxes.

Don't worry Rogue, I have a fairly big bookshelf dedicated to pokemon, another to magic, and a small one for flashpan games like Kingdom Hearts and Zatch Bell.

I used to use tins, but that epic failed. Now, I use binders, but only have 2 as i'm unable to carry more then that. If it's a holo pokemon, reverse or otherwise, it's in my thinnest binder. Which is the one people reach for most frequently. But, I often have a lot more useful stuff in my main binder, in which I carry nearly every other card, not currently in a deck.

In it you'll find commons, uncommon's, and non-holo rares. I also store my holo trainers and energies there. Ordered like this:

- Normal/Colorless
- Fighting
- Fire
- Grass
- Dark
- Metal
- Electric
- Psychic
- Water
- Special Energy
- Basic Energy
- Tool Cards
- Technical Machines
- Stadiums
- Supporters
- Trainers

It's not sorted by set or rarity, as I find that far too annoying and troublesome to do, but they are organized by evolution. I.E. if you're staring at Mankey, then you can be sure that Primeape is right next to it.

This isn't the best way of sorting in the world, but it works for me and that should always be one of the main deciding factors. Good luck to you all in finding your own rhythm.

I have one Binder that i carry around with me for trades, it's organized by..
1) Level X's
2)Rotom's
3)Arceus's
4)Other Secret Rares
5)Candy's TGI's Staples
6) Good Deck cards(Gengar/Nidoqueen/Luxray GL)
7)New stuff from Arceus

Then i have a HUGE (58 Q/55 L) Box with EVERY Card i own,
All organized by Set, Base; So forth, All Organized Number by Number, Their all kept in 5000 Count Boxes,
I was given the Complete Base Set to me for Christmas 2 Years ago (I was like FTW?!) from my uncles(Played back when it first came out), Including many packs and stuff, I'd estimate a good... 15-25 Thousand Cards...... All organized. I also have a mini-binder for Naruto, Some crappy Yu-Gi-Oh stuff, and Zatch Bell.. Then my floors covered with Stuff i win from CC's( I don't buy packs...)

And then i keep another 1000 count Box for all of my Energies,

I also play both Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering. I organize my Yugi-cards by Monster, Magic, and Trap in a clear 500 card box with seperate compartments, while having the rares separated. I organize my Magic cards by color, all in one large binder.

First, they are separated by Type.
Old (Base set to E-readers) Pokemon cards are placed, separately, before any of new cards.
Since November, all of my cards have been put into their own binders by type...
Rares, Lv X, Commons & Uncommons are mixed together, organized by evolution...

1)Old Grass
2)New Grass (Too many, I had to separate them into 2 binders)
3)Psychic
4)Colorless and Eevee-volutions
5)Fire
6)Fighting
7)Water
8)Electric and Metal
9)Old Trainers
10)New Trainers

11)Dark, Galactic, Arceus, and Rumble
12)Yugioh cards and what not

Most of the binders are different colors, and have Booster pack foil art in the front to show what could be inside.
E.g. The Blue water binder has a Gyarados (eX HOolon Phantoms) ,eX Power Keepers Walrein, and Secret Wonders Weavile: packs in the front.

At a City Championship, I won the raffle for the Giratina binder.
I haven't decided what to put in there just yet. Any suggestions?

Storage:
All my cards are stored in albums. I prefer to use Ultra Pro collecotr albums, available in blue, black, and red, and nine pocket card pages.

Arrangement:
My cards are arranged by set, then by card collection number.

I use an album per set, and a page per specific card. It is typical to have 120 pages and 2 album for each set to achieve my preference of playing, collecting, and buying/selling/trading.

i have 5 binders that i keep in a backpack.
they are:
My Rares(by set/number)
Common/uncommons that have a stage 2(organized by type)
common/uncommons that only have a stage 1(organized by type)
common/uncommons that do not evolve
trainers/supporters/stadiums

hope this helps.
