Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Soul Calibur 4

has anyone passed unfailing tower on tower of lost souls yet. I have been able to get to Zasalamel on it but it is just too difficult

if i was to say any character shon the most in that game it would be beak.

Play competitive more. Baek gets ***** by Nina and Jin. He's just a K Spam character, I don't see anything impressive about him or his red headed cousin, Hwoarang.

cervantes? what is he 5 attacks? 3 hit horizontal, those 3 moves why he floats and the move where he sticks his swords in you and throws you... wow. but no he is hard to fight against.

Look up Cervantes videos on Youtube and you'll see what I'm talking about. Dread Charge in itself is enough to fear him, along with his 3-4 command throws, insane UB's, and character control.

okay, sophisia is actual gimp, she does nothing interesting.

She runs circles around you, has very fluid attack transition, has an amazingly hard to predict UB, great command throws and difficult to predict attacks. You just don't think she's good because you haven't played a good one. I used her the entire way through a tournament using only basic moves and I beat everyone there. :p

Imagine if I was to try. XD

Granted, you're right. She has no style, she has nothing flashy aside from the "I'm gonna float in the air with my sword here for 3 minutes while you stare and awe and lose half of your life bar from it.", but I'll be darned if anyone says she sucks.

my mate personally knows people who were playin at worlds, they are sure it was snake and metanite

I ain't saying you're wrong, its just last I heard, most of the best were playing Dedede. I didn't even know there was a worlds tourney for Brawl yet.

Snake IS ridonculous though.

I main Dedede and Sonic in Smash, both are excellent. With Sonic and Dedede, you really got to know what you're doing.(Speed control for Sonic can be nuts..)

As far as SC4, I main Siegfried, Ivy, and Mitsurugi styles(not a spammer, seriously :p). I just don't like Cervantes, though I certainly see why he's played.

But I'm pretty bored now. At least in SC3 the Story mode was fun, and the character creation was actually better. You can tell pretty easily how little they cared about story mode this time. And Tower of Souls...just annoys me.

I don't like to use the most popular characters so i play with voldo, taki and yoshimitsu. Couldn't resist yoshimitsu since he's from tekken.

naki: to put it simply, if you know how to use most of beaks better moves (10 move/arials) then you will win. using only basic attacks? if someone does that online, ill sign out of the game, cause at rank 21 i expect to be playing against players who know 80% of their chacters moveset. i expect decent players, not n00btubes.

phenom: taki and mitsu are 2 of the more compepdtive chacters, and therefore more common :/

I dunno, I just don't see Baek as an overly awesome character. I'm not really into Tekken though, and its mostly just because of Nina and Jin, as thats what the Top Tiers have been since Tekken 4.

know taki is one of the best cause i saw it quiet some time, but didn't see yoshimitsu much.

Taki is not a bad character by any means, she's tricky to use, but still has some issues that keep her from matching against some of the higher level chracters.

yoshimitsu is used by a handful of really good players (high level)

Yoshimitsu is hardcore and very difficult to get down. You need to be able to use his moves almost perfectly because you make one error and he goes seppuku and you lose in that process.. He's been towards the top of the tier spectrum since SC2, and I don't think that will change any time soon. High Risk, High Reward character, that one.

ye i hear you, i been on tekken as my only beat em up since tekken 1. and ive seen it evolve through to dark ressurection, but baek is cool cause his 10 moves are both with kicks only, meaning that you only need to press 2 buttons back and forth (unlike literalyy all the other characters that use at least 3).]
personally i hate the new arial combo thing introduced in tekken 5, it just sort of means whoever can tag that move that throws them in th air twice, wins.

taki is made ALOT easier by the use of custom buttons.
my setup is perfect for taki right now:
x: A
[square]: G
[triangle]: K
o: B
R1: A-K (jumping move)
R2: A-B (her ninja aura thing)
L-1: B-K (roll [we all know what the rolls can lead to] )
L-2: A-G (grab)

for me this is working pucker, it also seems to work for seigefried (stance with R-1) and apprentice (very similar button usage to taki)

you're right about mitsu, defo not a character for tower of souls. if you land the paradise death from super manjin dragonfly on the opponent with him, its the most powerful move in the game! it deals 140 damge (straight from the official strat guide) and litterally puts them within grab killing health.
