Yes,there will be a DC area(East Coast) Stadium Challenge!Laurel Chiat and I will be running it but we have been awaiting finalization of the venue and the date.That is why we haven`t posted any info as of yet.

Wow, Arlington is around the Dallas area. It's too far away to be sure right now but I'm gonna try to make it there. Something tells me this is gonna be one of the bigger events!

How do you know you were approved first for the event. Maybe M45 was for the South, maybe you were for the East or maybe the West was. Maybe the two of you can compair the times on the emails that you were sent saying you could run the event to know for sure :p Not like it matters it is just great that you guys are running them and Im sure you will put on a great tournament.

It looks like the 4 Stadium post are all a little off the topic already. Im sure once everything gets finalized with all of them, we will see new threads posting all the information.
 
Okay Meganium, you're being a little TOO enthusiastic about this event. If anybody should be excited, it's me. I'm literally the only person in Arlington who even plays, not only that, but I work at the Six Flags that's next to the convention center. The place is a dump, and the Rangers are the worst team in the league. It makes no sense in 5 years of no events, A-town finally gets one. I'm most likely showing up to the event, but I got some Cali events to play in by the time it rolls around. So maybe not.

I'm currently in San Diego right now, where we got 2 GC's. What a deal. It would be great to meet you Meganium, I am aware you are a big part of the group that's really keeping this game going. Keep up the good work.
 
Yeah once nintendo gets all the stadiums up they will be straightened out and i bet some new post on the stadiums will be up to make a good fresh start to the stadium challenge forum :)
 
only live an hour away. i will be there. and it will be nice to meet meganium 45 and all of u other good players that live in other states. i will be there most definatly
 
I couldn't agree more, Ryan. Texas and OK are full of good players, but we've yet to see anything of other areas. This is going to be the best competition we've ever seen, and with Richard and Meganium running it, it's destined to be a success!
 
until the cows go home you say? hehe, anything can happen I guess... I have gone to the six flags that is near san diego, is that the one? been a while though, would not hurt to go again, and I have some unfinished business there... mainly at san antonio, but that is another story, this east vs west center or whatsoever is kinda three kingdoms story, so may the best Sima Yi conquer any of Zhuge Liang's plots. (ok, no more coca light(diet coke) for Ives at 5:25 in the morning without 2 days sleep, he is getting ready I guess) may all of the sc be something we are proud of telling our grandchildren about as our days have summed a number bigger than spam returns (I actually like spam) may the force be with you... with the exception of the police force... that is not a good thing.

That sounds like a good idea, once everything is locked down that I bet we will see fresh stadiums with all the info on the tournaments up.
 
First, last... who cares.... I wil be there one way or the other....

Oh yeah.... my fave question... will there be a GBA tounrey.... I am fairly ok at these, and would like to know.... :D

And a side bonus Bigpoppabeatdown is comin.... yay.... The more the merrier... hope to see a great turn out, both from on these boards and off....
