Directions for Tomball, Texas since this is a new location for all of us.

Enigma Games
10801 Spring Cypress Road
zip - 77070
281-251-7100

11:15 am Regisration and deck checks with round 1 starting around 12:30, hopefully, lol.

There's no preregistration. First come first get in, THAT'S IT. Get there early to start a line if you have to. Doors won't open till 11:15am.

Coming from Dallas:

The easiest and fastest way is I-45 to Spring Cypress Road / 2920, turn right (heading east). Stay on 2920 and head east towards Tomball. Don't turn on Spring Cypress Road because it's a nightmare. Take 2920 all the way to Tomball and Hwy. 249. (about 15 miles down 2920). Turn left on Hwy. 249 heading south. Go about 5 miles or so and exit Spring Cypress Road. Turn left on SPR and go one block. Enigmas is located on the right side of the road in a brown colored strip center. So, it's 1 block EAST of Hwy. 249.

Coming from Houston:

Get to Hwy. 249 and head north. Exit Spring Cypress Road, turn right and go one block. Enigmas on the right side of the road in a brown colored strip center.

Coming from The Woodlands:

Take the back roads to 249, head south on 249 to Spring Cypress Road, turn left, go one block. Enigmas on the right side in a brown colored strip center.

A hard fought battle between the Dallas & Houston players in all age groups. My PokeKiddies prevailed and are drinking from the victory cup tonight. Will the Dallas players regroup for The Woodlands or will they go down in defeat once again? Tune in tomorrow night for the answers.

The Woodlands, Texas winners (December 16)

Juniors:

1) Patrick C.
2) Travis B.

Seniors:

1) Austin C.
2) Steven E.

Masters:

1) Clay c.
2) Johnny K.

The Dallas players regrouped, came in and played some Pokemon. They were on a mission, a mission from Birch. They took control of the Masters division and never looked back. Travis B. in Juniors got to the finals and took second place. San Antonio came in to take their shots but Steven E. was the only player to do anything with taking second place in Seniors.

Thanks to all that came in to play.

Break time, go have some fun. Enjoy the holidays and we'll see you December 30th in Montgomery, Texas. This will be the first ever City Championships for Montgomery.

Old folks:

1st: Clay (AbsolGallade)
2nd: Johnny (Infernape)
3rd: Tina (AbsolGallade)
4th: George (BlisseyWeaville)

I must add to this, Geroge has played his greatest tourney in LONG time. WTG!

EDIT: George is my Brother! W00t!

The ClayPot brothers have left their Mark! ":dark::psychic:"

Lol Andy. He top cut a city last year too (although not with a 5-1 record). :x

Oh yeah, wasn't that "Welcome to the jungle" that I heard in the finals?

It was good seeing the Dallas / Ft. Worth group along with the gang from San Antonio.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years

We got the last four CC's uploaded this morning. All it took was about 10 breakfast tacos.

A few players shooting upward.

A few players on the down slope.

Merry Christmas.

Time to make the donuts.

Come join us and have fun in the last City Championships event of 2007. End the year with a BANG, take home the medal.

This Sunday will be the first time a City Championship event has been held in Montgomery, Texas. It will be interesting to see who makes the trip. Montgomery, Texas is far north of Houston and about 27 miles north of The Woodlands. Will the regular group make the trip? Will Dallas players come down for only one tournament this weekend? Does San Antonio make it over? This is one of those "you never know who will show up" events. Also keep in mind that there's no school the next day, that could make a difference. Oh well, see ya Sunday.

Times:

1:00 pm Registration and deck checks.
2:00 pm Round 1 begins (maybe a little later)

Directions:

Montgomery Community Building
102 Liberty Street (aka SH 149)
Montgomery, Texas 77356

Coming from the Greater Houston Area:

Take I-45 north to Conroe. Exit #87 Texas 105. Turn left, go east on Texas 105 for 15 miles. Montgomery is a small town, the main stop light is SH 149 (aka Liberty Street). Once you get to SH 149, turn right and go two blocks. the Community Building will be on the right side of the road. I'll have my van out by the road with a Pokemon sign on it.

Coming from Dallas:

Take I-45, come on down, and remember that this is WAY north of Houston and The Woodlands so your trip just got smaller. Follow the directions above EXCEPT turn right on Texas 105.

Warning:

On Texas 105, keep an eye out on DPS. They won't hide from you, they're out in the open sitting on the side of the road, so drive the speed limit..

Montgomery, Texas winners (December 30th)

Juniors:

1) Matthew S.
2) Patrick C.

Seniors:

1) Steven E.
2) Derek P.

Masters:

1) Zach G. (about time you come back to Pokemon)
2) Macon C. (nice Raichu hoody)

Good times had by all.

Montgomery, Texas introduced us to the "rolling cushy chair" which you would think was a good thing. But nooooo, the chair was cursed. If you won your match, you got the cushy chair on wheels (huge excitement for masters). Dana started off with it and kept it for two rounds, lost it to Johnny K, who lost it to Billy K, who then lost it to Macon C, who then lost it to Zach G. Now Zach was the smart one of the group, and refused the almighty cushy chair for the top cut. He caught on that everyone who sat in the cushy chair lost their match. So, without the cushy chair, Zach beats Billy and Macon to take home the gold medal.

Once again, we defend our ground in Masters. Dallas and San Antonio put up a good fight. Steven saved the day for San Antonio in Seniors and Lil' Matthew won his first medal of the year.

Happy New Years and we'll see ya next weekend for Deer Park and Houston to wrap up the 2007-2008 City Championships Series.

Warning - Any NON Texas sports jerseys WILL NOT be allowed at my tournaments (JOSE).

Do you prefer the Ward white or Roethlisberger black? PITTSBURGH ALL THE WAY!!! Do you think the texans will ever get into the playoffs? ONly if the Oilers were still around. Houston misses you BUD.
