During my testing, playing the deck and aginst it, all it did was make it a turn faster for Dragon Rush or Trash Bolt if it needed to be used. Games where I did not get DCE, I had to wait 2 turns.

You know how crucial that is? With DCE, you can do back to back Drushes, which is the best attack in the game, hands down.

So wait, you're saying that this:

"Attach DCE, Energy Gain, level up, Dragon Rush"
Next turn:
"Retreat to Crobat, Turn the Bat, attach DCE, Dragon Rush"

Is only marginally better then:

"Attach energy, go"
Next turn:
"Attach another energy, level up, attach E-Gain, Dragon Rush"
Next turn:
"Turn Garchomp, play down Garchomp with Energy, pass"
Next turn:
"Level Up, Attach E-Gain, attach another energy, Dragon Rush"

....Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

I know that. I was say when I did not draw any, I had to wait 2 turns to power another dragon rush. I had games where I could not draw one, even after 2 Uxies.

And even then, DCE is such a huge improvement it isn't even funny. Let's see what it does...

- Allow you to do back-to-back D-Rushes without needing to pre-charge
- T1 Garchomp DCE Egain Donk
- T1 Luxray DCE Bite Donk on 30 HP stuff
- Take only 2 turns to charge up a Garchomp in such a way Ambipom cant revenge instead of 3
- Allow that same Ambipom T1 donks without E-Gain
- Allow Dragonite to be a more useable tech

It's crazy just how much DCE does for Luxchomp.

This I know but all in the end, it just makes the deck 1 turn faster for attacking.

1 turn. The same amount of time a Machamp needs to get fired up. Half the time Gengar needs to Poltergeist you.
See how important that one turn is? In the long run, 4 DCE cuts on 4 turns of energy attachment. In today's meta, that is unbelievably important.

Coming from someone who has been playing Luxchomp since before DCE's release, that card is ridiculously good in Luxchomp. I don't have time right now to list all the benefits which it brings apart from making attacks one turn faster, but I would suggest you build two Luxchomp decks, one with and one without DCE, and see the difference it makes after playing a couple of games against all the Tier 1 decks at the moment.

I'm not sure what 4 cards you would replace them with.

Now that you look at it that way. Saving 4 turns is huge.
