Trainer like this - you NEED 4. Everyone who wants to be competitive will want at least four of these, and with such MASSIVE demand and low supply, you're left with a staggeringly valuable card.

Can anybody say $100 card?

At the pre I went to today, out of 4 boxes,NONE were pulled!Only the rich and lucksacs will obtain this card atm...
 
This card is amazing!
I really think that 4 is overkill though. Mabey 2-3.
We would only need to play it when you have to get the card in your hand imediatly. (I mean have you ever looked at how much you could put in instead of 2 of these? 4 Cards is a lot of space.)
 
I ran two pre-releases this weekend, and out of 18 boxes only 3 were pulled. Others I've corresponded with seem to be getting about the same ratio, 1 every 4 to 6 boxes, and the box still contains a level X also.

Ours seemed to be a bit better ratio, like 1 per 3 boxes or so. Does JPN have this card yet?? I didn't pull any in my Mystery of the Lakes boosters...
 
Ya you wouldn't wanna play 4, pretty much ever, but I guess most people would want to own 4 in case they came up with a deck that needs 4 (I know I already have), best to be prepared.

It was a promo card in Japan- I think maybe for tournament winners during a battle road like season.

i got 2 time dis. cards plus a abomasnow in the same pack.

First it was Yu-Gi-Oh promoting steroids and the new Barry Bonds deck (ie. "roid" monsters)
NOW, Pokemon is promoting STDs.

I am gonna TRY to get at least 2.

This card is GOOD.

AND do y'all know how much of a godsend this is for Ape decks?
I mean, right when things were looking really bad cause of MT, we get 1 card that will help this deck out a lot.

In Ape, after your first Lv. X or your Delcatty ex dies , you basically never expect to get it back OR at least not for a while, BUT STD makes it SO much easier to bring that Catty line or Ape line back into your hand.
 
Are people forgetting Night Maintenance still exists.

There are times when Night Maintenance is a lot better, just for the sheer volume of cards it recovers.

as for the card, yeah, it's good. i think i can still win tournaments without it though. but if they reprint it in a POP pack, i'll be all for that. Or maybe toss it in one of our Battle Road Prizes.
 
*clears throat* TIME-SPACE Distortion is certainly going to be an interesting card competitively, rivaling the level of Rare Candy (in Stage 2 decks)'s usefulness in almost any deck, I believe.
