Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

St. Louis MO Regionals Nov 12 and 13 in Crestwood MO

And, Riq, the way this season has gone, you will only be 2-3 points behind the Championship Points Leader at Regionals for the STL area!

Can't wait to see you again man!

Hope this semester has been going well!

Vince

Any idea when the Friday events will start? I'd like to get my hotel reserved for the correct dates ASAP. Thx!

Finally. I've missed having a VGC stop in the St. Louis area since '09.

I assume I'll need to bring my own DS and Black / White Cartridge. Will we have team sheets there to fill out?

Own DS - yes
Black/White Cartridge - yes
Team Sheet - no

You will need to fill out a registration slip, and then we will IR beam your DS Cartridge. Simple as that! Looks like it's gonna be a great party!

Can't wait to be a part of another Vince tournament! It's been so long!

Hope everything runs smoothly...

You may still register after round 1, and just come in late.

Given the size of the event, and the number of players, I really hope we are staring at 8 swiss rounds (if not 9!!!), so come on in and rock the event with us!

Look forward to seeing you all there!

Vince

Win-a-mat EVENTS will be held on Friday Evening, and on Saturday (after Swiss) and on Sunday (for TCG players).

I have several mats...good times.

Little bird told me that one of the win-a-mats will be a WORLDS 2011 mat!!

OK, the schedule for side events will be up in te next 24 hours.

I can not wait to run a lot of these, as they will simply rock.

There have been several calls with respect to our traditional Juniors and Seniors Numbers.

With all due respect to Mr. Cook in Texas and Mr. Snorlax in Oregon (whose Juniors and Seniors numbers are HUGE), we have the 3rd most EVERY year in those age divisions. I think it is partially because we try so hard to put on a program that appeals to not just the competitive players, but fun side events and other activities that appeal to the kids who just come for the love of Pokemon.

We get good competitive Juniors and Seniors, mind you. Our store ALONE had 3 of the top 32 Juniors at Worlds this year (3rd, 19th and 32nd), along with 2 of the top 16 Seniors out of our city. I am always proud of not only the competitive level of our younger players, but the love of the game they have, both competitive and fun players alike.

The store I run (Yeti) loves both players, and takes pride in offering an elite selection of singles at reasonable prices (you can currently buuild a full ZPST deck out of our case) and a staff that can help a newer player take the stair steps necessary, if they want to, to become more competitive in the game. Yes, my staff knows the game.

Come join us for what will be an elite weekend of Pokemon fun.

I don't say it enough anymore but WOOT and CHAW!

Post those events Mrs. 45!!!
