Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

SteveP's Decklist Program Updated for PS

I've uploaded the Fall tin promos, switched to the 2009-2010 season, and added a "Print" button to the title bar to the testbed at http://decklist-test.pokegym.net/. The download-able lite version will be updated tonight/tomorrow. These changes will migrate to the live-production version shortly afterwards.

I forgot to mentioned that the SV Theme Decks have been added to the Sample Decklists.

I was a couple days late, but it's there now (as of Nov 7).

FYI, I usually have the new set available on the test-site a few days before the release.

The only thing not working yet is the link to go-pokemon.com's interactive card list. When they publish that on their website, it will work in my VDB tool.

As of this moment, the Go-Pokemon.com interactive card list for Arceus is up and available in the VDB tool of my program.

New promos will be added shortly. The latest scans will always be available first in the "test" version of my program at http://decklist-test.pokegym.net, so you're welcome to use that version if you get anxious. It usually takes a few days to get things fully tested before they migrate out of test and into production.

I just uploaded promos DP50-53 to the test website, along with the Arceus unlimited quantity rule. It will be migrated to production shortly.

I also removed the limit to the number of different cards that can be on the decklist. The decklist is "virtually" unlimited in how many cards you can enter. I did this in preparation for adding a feature to print multi-page decklists, for those who have so many different types of cards that they can't all fit on one decklist printout without reducing it's size. This will be in the next release, hopefully before the end of the month.

That is a GREAT idea!

This season in particular, I'm doing so many deck checks where there are more cards handwritten on the back of the decklist sheet.

A clean printout of multiple pages would be ideal.

It looks like some promos (at least Carnivine G and Probopass G) are still missing. Nonetheless, this is an awesome tool that has saved me tons of time. Thanks for maintaining it!

Hmm. Seems like it. You can just type those in yourself, if they are your super-secret techs! I'm sure Steve will shape things up shortly. I did update tonite and that includes his update through DP53 and some other stuff (like removing the rule of 4 limit for Arceus).

I was using this and it said my deck was clean when I only had Fossils as basic Pokemon and no actual Basic Pokemon in my deck. I believe this is an error, but not sure how easy it can be fixed.

Good catch.

I know the deck construction rule is to have at least one Pokemon with the word "Basic" in its evolution stage. Currently, my program doesn't have the ability to distinguish evolution stages, so at this time, that's not one of the checks.

My question is this:

Is there a provision in the rules or Compendium to have an all-Fossil basics deck? Or, do you have to throw in something like an Uxie to make it legal?

Currently, you can't mulligan with only a Fossil in your hand, so I'm guessing that a Fossil-only basics deck is something that needs to be "clarified" as illegal, unless it has already.

Steve, per the rule book:

It is a game rule that you must have at least 1 Basic Pokémon in your deck.
(A “Basic Pokémon” is considered a Pokémon with “Basic” as the Pokémon’s Evolution Stage.)

A fossil does not count as a Pokemon in the Deck and you must have at least one Basic in a deck.

Yeah, I know Wayne, but Fossils are weird. For example, they count as both trainers and basics during initial setup and while in play. Plus, I'm not sure an all-Fossil deck has been re-considered since the time KO'd Fossils started counting as prize-takes.

Anyway, I can't really add the "at least 1 basic" check to my program at this time. Good deck checkers will catch that problem.

Even after you delete the extra rows, it still adds the rows in and prints them out. This causes the decklist to take up 2 pages instead of 1.

yes. I do, but there is no way to remove the extra rows. On the original the rows have been deleted, but on the print preview and on what is actually printed the rows are present again.
