Hi, I have a new deck I built the other day. Tell me what you think! ^_^

Pokemon (18):
4 Dunsparce
1 Meditite
1 Medicham
1 Grimer
1 Dark Muk
1 Drowzee
1 Dark Hypno
1 Snorunt
1 Glalie
2 Slugma
2 Magcargo
1 Chinchou
1 Lanturn

Trainers (26):
4 Pokemon Retriever
4 Swoop! Teleporter
4 Celio
3 Pokemon Reversal
3 Steven
3 TV Reporter/Rocket's Mission
2 Admin/Copycat
1 Here Comes Team Rocket
1 Crystal Shard
1 ATM Rock

Energy (16):
4 Double Rainbow
4 Multi
3 Lightning
1 Fighting
1 water
1 grass
1 psychic
1 Fire

My deck's kinduh funky so stay with me!

Anyways, the goal is to be able to choose the best stage one against your opponent's deck, and just let loose. Then when it dies u shuffle it back in with pokemon retriever, swoop teleporter any of your basics in play with energy, and then last but not least celio or something else for the evolution.

Time to answer important questions:

-why do you use a Here Comes Team Rocket! ?

If the best pokemon for a matchup (say lanturn against an all-pidgeot deck) was prized. I'd need a way to get it out fast, now wouldn't I =P

-How are your matchups?

VS Blaziken: Weak to glalie, togetic, and dark hypno. Medicham and Lanturn both do a solid job dealing just heavy damage.

VS Blastoise: Lanturn and Medicham just outright annihilate the matchup. Dark Hypno can be of some use, too.

VS Monarchy: A somewhat tough matchup, but Glalie and Dark Muk actually do the best work. If it’s pidgeot, you can also use Lanturn to ko the bird.

VS Magma: Easy matchup unless they luck out. Glalie, Dark Muk, and Dark Hypno pwn.

VS Dragonite: Togetic just outright rocks, as well as Glalie (I love this!). In case they’re playing a lame deck that can only topdeck, Medicham and even Magcargo itself can handle the tough ex’s. If it’s a pidgeot variant, though, then it’s pretty much a 66%+ win.

VS Zapdos: Kinduva tough matchup, if they pull a T2 on you and you can’t recover. However, Lanturn and Medicham are good attackers. Should I focus more on this matchup?

VS Ttar: Well, Ttar is weak to cham (using the one admin to rig their hand for a OHKO is neato). You have to play smart, or else 3 spinning tails make you lose.

VS amphy variants (ttar, tu, hypno, crobat, nidoking): not too sure. Togetic, Glalie, and Medicham are nice here, tho.

Wish me luck with the deck =P

Why not gorebyss? Also against Zappy just use Sparce to SARs for 2 Pokemon and a Chinchou and run to one of the other ones. Start building Lanturn and stall with those other pokemon. Bring Sparce out when you have a Lanturn and attack for 10. This way Lanturn comes out to ohko it since it has 10 already, and Lanturn gets the enery under Sparce because of power.

Hope that makes sense, but that's what I did when I played a deck with Lanturn in it. Getting a Lanturn out cripples Zappy pretty bad.

holy crap, you must be sick, "tecHing" like this:
1st) Pidgeot is crucial for decks with too much tecH
2nd) throwing 1-1 line of everything wont make your deck "tecHed" enought
take a look to dpg and then you'll know what tecH really means

This was Stolen from Patriarch and btw.. it does work strangely enough.. he played it against quite a few decks out there and against some of the top players in Texas/ OKlahoma, and wiped them.... so many Patriarch wannabes.. including me!! Go Johnny!

the worst thing in TeCH decks is that you can lose to some rogue decks.
You will beat major deck but if you encounter some speedrill-like kind of a deck in the first swiss round, you can easily lose, than you will encounter another rogu deck and lose as well. I would suggest adding some heavy hitter just in case.

He has Magcargo.

Just as good, and doesn't need Rare Candy to run fast.

I like the deck, except for one thing - it has no real means for combating Metal-types, which could become more popular with the release of Super Connectivity Metagross. Glalie can't block them thanks to weakness, and 'Cargo just doesn't do enough damage to hurt the Metal decks enough.

I can't really think of anything to suggest, either... except maybe Ninetales ex / Boost, but that may be going a little too far.

Wouldn't a kingdra TeCh shut this deck down?

Yes.

I've played with freaky decks like this before, and just like everyone else said, you need to have a consistent heavy hitter. A deck can't survive on tech alone, but good job (unless it was really stolen by Patriarch :nonono: )
