Honestly, the sort of battle I mentioned... that's what I expected Pokemon Stadium to be like when I was younger and I first heard of its announcement.
 
WOAH you can change pokemon out with the down + B button just like zelda transforming into shiek. I wonder what their stats will be like as far as speed,jumping,and power goes.

I'm guessing Squirtle will be the speediest, Power belongs to Charizard, and Jumping goes to Ivysaur. Do you think this sounds about right? Whats your opinion on this?

Also they added that badge thats makes the wearer immune to projectile attacks.
 
Pokemon trainer is the best. For years I wanted a game like SSB/SSBM where it was all pokemon that battled. THis is the next best thing. I said though that they have stamina. Perhaps the Pokemon get tired.

Also I love the giga bowser thing.


The only thing left to make my life complete is if they add master hand as a character. ( I doubt they will, but it would be cool)

I believe that Ivysaur and Charizard are switched; that is, Ivysaur is Power, and Charizard is Jumping. I mean... It has wings...

I assume stamina will be something like a bell curve, plotting strength and dexterity against time released.

err... i don't see how a bell curve represents the stats over time, lol.

They all share the same damage meter, so they don’t recover from damage during Pokémon Change. But they also have another stat, which you might call stamina.


If you keep fighting with the same Pokémon, or if you change them out too often, it’s not so good for the Pokémon.

Assume height is good and right is longer time. As mentioned, "If you keep fighting with the same Pokémon" i.e. long time, or "if you change them out too often" i.e. short time, "it’s not so good for the Pokémon".

Postscript: I think Charizard Kirby'll look cute.
 
Where are you guys getting this additional information about pokemon trainer besides the offical site? If its from anywhere else it seems like its pure speculation.
 
Well link is my main character and i use the bombs and boomerangs. When im up on close i pretty much use my aerial moves.

Does anyone know how long the badge effect last?

No, what would really be cool is if swallowing the Pokemon will turn Kirby into the Trainer, and then the Trainer Kirby will pop into the background and be switched with Kirby Pokemon that can be switched around. Then if the Kirbymon loses it's cute little Charizard hat, then Trainer Kirby disappears.

What I'm hoping now is that they'll add in Infernape and Darkrai as characters. If that happens, I could die right as I found out, and have no regrets. Infernape vs. Charizard! Battle to determine who's more awesome of the two most awesome fire type starters. Rock on!
 
I hope they post metaknight's attacks. I wonder what kirby will look like if he sucks up metaknight. Maybe the same as metanight, but without the wings.

Yeah, probably just the armor. The next character we need is... The Peanut Butter Jelly Time Banana! No, I'm serious. His home arena would be a black background (that's it), and in the background would be the Peanut Butter Jelly Time song. You think I'm joking. This is completely serious. And his attacks would all consist of hitting the opponent on the head with his maracas and dancing around.

Imo for Kirby, it'd probably give him that one form he had in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror when he sucks up MetaKnight's sword.

The only character that I can think of to survive when the Devil comes into play is Samus because of her bombs (although this attack has not be confirmed)---> had to put this in since I know people would commment on this. I wonder how many seconds this will be in effect.
