Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Team Cook's Coolest CC saved for last. (South Texas)

Ok to clear up the Torchic football dispute, it is my Torchic and it was me and Jeff who made it, because we through it around at league. Shame on you Adam and James not mentioning it is MY DOLL! The first offical time we actually played it as a group was gyms in Shenadoha 2 years ago. The first players were James B, Tina M (myself), Jeff, Adam, Phillip T, Richard C, and a few other people.

To note to all people Phillip T will be playing tomorrow in the tournament. Good Luck to all. Please note there will probably be no pocky tomorrow, instead random rare cards will be given, and other cool pokemon stuff, thanks for the understanding.

No Pocky? I'd rather have Pocky than Phillip T. Just kidding. I predict a red door moment in the morning. Oh, and DPS likes to sit along 249 between 2920 and Decker Prairie.

See y'all in the morning.

This is why we force Alton to drive.
I have been spending $10 on pocky prizes per tournament and I can't afford it this time! Donations welcome :p!

Sweet I came out on top and won my 2nd CC. Nicely run tournament Cook, had lots of fun. Glad this time we had plenty of time to play, don't like rushing things. Probably gonna make a report soon, nice to see everyone again. :)

good tourney again cook, I made top 8, finshed 6th lol. Team SA ftw. Still debating on wether we r going to dallas or down for the other houston area cc next weekend.

Latis or something different?

Magnolia, Texas 1-13-07

62 players

Here are your winners:

Juniors:

1) Matthew S. The Woodlands (happy to play a girl in finals other than his sister)
2) Bailey S. The Woodlands (her first finals)

Seniors:

1) Austin C. (Psyco Pedestrian) The Woodlands
2) Adam G. (Adam Garcia) Richmond

Masters:

1) Frank G. (PokeMasterFlabface) San Antonio
2) Ty W. (Expert Ty) Katy

Thanks to all that came out. I think all will agree that Magnolia was a great place to play. The huge field gave the kids plenty of room to play outside and not bother the Masters.

True players of the day: Jose, Steven, and Miranda. They took off from San Antonio heading to Dallas, got a call from Birch that the Dallas tournament had been canceled due to weather, then decided to come to Magnolia to play. ALOT of driving for a few games of Pokemon. Thanks for coming out Jose.

Special thanks to our helpers Jackson and Debbie. They know what the true meaning of the word "staff" means. Thank You.

Next up, Clearlake, next Saturday.

See ya.

The Magnolia tournament has been uploaded and the new rankings and ratings are up. Wow, some big changes. As always, rankings can be found on the op website or our local website. Read 'em and weep, or jump for joy.

Directions:

1) Get to I-45 South heading towards Galveston.

3) Once you've exited the highway, get in right lane of feeder road and GO THROUGH the red light.
4) While on the feeder road, you'll come up to Ron Carter Hummer & Cadillac and a Lexus dealership.
5) There is a driveway (not a road), a driveway IN BETWEEN the Cadilac & Lexus dealerships.
6) Turn on to the driveway and drive IN BETWEEN the dealerships.
7) Space City Ice Station sits BEHIND the Lexus dealership.

***WARNING***

If you pass up that driveway, you must go to El Dorado Blvd., take that overpass, drive back towards Houston, and swing back over the next overpass. There is NO back entrance for the venue. MAKE SURE YOU GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.

There's a Space City sign that is white and blue at the driveway, JUST PAY ATTENTION. Remember, the driveway sits IN BETWEEN the Cadillac & Lexus dealerships.

Food:

Space City Ice Rink has a snack bar downstairs which looks just like a bowling alley snack bar. It's got a little of everything, burgers, hotdogs, pizza, nachos, frito pie, drinks, etc. There's also a Whataburger and McDonalds around the corner.

Time Limit:

No time limits, so relax and have fun.

Playing area:

Shaped like a horseshoe and overlooks the skating rink. There' are booths and regular tables, BUT the booths are HUGE and spacious. More than enough room for 4 players, I promise. We have seating for about 80 players.
