Less than 24 hours away before we get started on the last City Championship of the season. Get on out to Clearlake and join us for a good time. We've had 8 great City tournaments and the 9th one will be no different, I promise you.

See ya in the morning.

4-1 swiss, made top 8 cut at #4.

first round of cut i was paired with rick playing ttar ex UF, while i was playing bandoom. worst possible matchup for me out of everyone else that made the cut, lol.

i lost pretty fast the first game cause i couldn't stop the ttar from coming out, 2nd game i locked his trainers early and he had some horrible luck drawing stuff, so i ended up taking the game on prizes eventually.

but then comes the 3rd game where i got totally donked. i had a shuppet start, and he chose to go first. larvitar, rare candy, ttar ex uf, fighting energy, 60 for the FTKO =( i didn't even get to go, lol. oh well good game...

i'm satisfied i made the cut at least. its bad to get taken out that way, but then again i got horrendously lucky against jose in swiss. he made two huge misplays that cost him the game, haha.

i'm not sure who won it though.

i really liked playing at the ice center today. its so much better than a cramped comic store xD

Congrats to the winners, Texas beat Louisiana today! Except for me, who didn't lose to anyone today, but could not win.........
Ivan, you are a really good player, I have never gotten a start that good in like 4 - 5 years. Thanks for a good match.
Thanks to the Cooks and the Houston players, a great event guys. I had a great time!
John, you are so lucky I'm not coming tomorrow........lol :)

Great job to everyone!

Yeah, those sneaky cajuns thought they could waltz into Texas and give us the crawfish smack down. Homeofmew (Tina) would've been in Team Rocket heaven, but instead she was........not there.

Like Magnolia and Angleton, everyone seemed to like the Clearlake venue. Hopefully we've found a new place to play.

Did you see all the new players? We had a new players in every division.

A HUGE thanks to ALL that came out. Once again we had a great tournament.

WOW, we're FINALLY done with Cities. 9 GREAT tournaments.

THANK YOU.

Next up, EX Power Keepers in February.

See ya there.

Yeah, you guys got us this time, but we'll see ya at states. It ought to be classic!
Both Dylan and Brent had good things to say about Austin and Trent, no excuses.
BTW, did you notice I did not lose to a Texas player all day! The old man still has a little in the tank.
Absoltrainer, it was cool meeting you as well, and I had fun with all my Texas friends.
Rick
