Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Team Rocket Returns: The Woodlands, TX / 11-07-04

Sorry to see you can't make it. Who's coming in from San Antonio? We'll save a spot for them. Hopefully you can make in for the City Championship.

The Eguias are gonna head down over there, and with a couple of their friends that want to come with them. Hopefully they can find the place alright, told them about the amount of door prizes you guys were having too. :)

Great! I'll be posting directions for those coming from out of town.

A lot of the Houstonian players already have plans to play in the Woolands PreRelease. I'm planning on car-pooling with like 3 of my other friends.

LET'S GET READY TO RUMMMMMMMBLE. ARE YOU READY? COUNT DOWN TO THE WOODLANDS FIRST PRE-RELEASE PARTY / TOURNAMENT. 5 DAYS LEFT. Team Cook has just added a few more "surprises". Thanks again to our WalMart for all the help.

Okay folks... The directions are simple:

The Woodlands is off I-45.
This Wal-mart is just outside The Woodlands, and is NOT visible from I-45.
]

If you're coming from the north (Dallas, etc):
You'll be going south on I-45.
You'll pass The Woodlands up. You'll see The Woodlands Mall, the Riverwalk, bridge, etc on the right.
Then, take Exit 73 (Rayford Sawdust) -- Go west (right) on Sawdust. (Rayford is to the east /left).
There's construction going on on Sawdust Road, so be careful. It's not bad on Sundays, though.
Wal-mart is about half a mile down -- on the right just past taco Bell/Pizza Hut and Mobil gas station.
Wal-mart sits further back from the street, but there's a light there, so you shouldn't miss it. If you enter The Woodlands, you've gone too far.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There's another Woodlands-area Wal-mart just NORTH of The Woodlands (I-45 at 242). That is NOT the correct Wal-mart. You have to pass up The Woodlands and take Exit 73.

If you're coming from the south (Houston, etc):
You'll be going north on I-45.
You will pass Spring, and the Hardy Toll Road.
(If you pass The Woodlands -- You'll see the Mall and the Riverwalk on the left-- you've gone too far.
Then, take Exit 73 (Rayford Sawdust) -- Go west (left) on Sawdust. (Rayford is to the east /right).
There's construction going on on Sawdust Rd, so please be careful. It's not bad on Sundays, though.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There's also a Wal-mart in Spring. That is NOT the correct Wal-mart. Make sure go to the Sawdust Rd. Wal-mart.

:) Be careful. Drive safely..... and we'll see you on Sunday!!!!

What about if im coming from the west does 2920 go through the woodlands im planning on going 290 and then to 2920 through TOMBALL if ot does go through or near the woodlands. I don't want to have to drive down through Houston and then back up 45I've already tried mapquest and it tells me to go through houston. anyone else know a different way ? . :D :pokeball: see ya there bye

It sounds like the easiest thing for you to do is to take FM2920 through Tomball to I-45. Then take I-45 North (left) and get to The Woodlands from there. You don't have to go through Houston. And 2920/Tomball Parkway is just a couple of exits south of Sawdust Rd.

If you want to go through The Woodlands, let me know, I'll email you the directions. I think going to I-45 is the easiest. This Wal-mart isn't really inside The Woodlands. It's right outside The Woodlands -- just half a mile from I-45.

I thought you'd be coming from 1488?? No??

:)

Two More Days!!!

~~Two More Days...And...EX Team Rocket Returns To The Woodlands~~

Today is Friday. The big day is drawing near for "EX Team Rocket Returns". The Woodlands is taking the Pokemon world by storm!!! I hear that "Big DJ Mike" and "WalMart" have a few surprises for the Pokemon players that will be attending. And Master Professor Birch has heard nothing but "GOOD NEWS" about the Pokemon happenings in The Woodlands. I can't wait to get down there. We hope to see all of the Pokemon players from that area on Sunday as The Woodlands will be put on the Pokemon map in Texas. :thumb:

Until then, take care. ;)

is 1488 faster i have no idea where or what that is i'll research it and post on here .is it going to be faster than going through houston ? mapquest says 1 hour and 45 mins but drive fast . we'll see ya. bye see ya tomorrow . :D :pokeball:

Well, 2920 may be better from where you're coming from. If that's what it looks like to you, just go with it. But, I don't think you should go through Houston. 2920 will take you to I-45. Do you see that on your map?

2920 is just a couple of exits south of Sawdust Rd. (which is where the Wal-Mart is).

I just want to let everyone know that Wal-Mart has the new PoKeMoN deck tins. They got about 8 cases in.

These are the tall deck tins that come in four different designs. They're under $10 each, and they come with 2 EX packs, stickers, plus one random promo or foil card.

Get them here while you're at the Prerelease and support our store.

That's a good price on those...

..... plus sales tax at this store is only 6.25%

~ShinAkuma~

I know what you mean. I got home from the "Del City, OK" Pre-release at a little past 12:00-midnight on Sunday morning. Got to bed at by 2:00am and finally to sleep around 2:300am. Alarm goes off at 5:00am...MP Birch gets up and shaves and showers...and am on my way to The Woodlands after that. 2 1/2-hours sleep. Saturday and Sunday, more than 850-miles traveled to Del City, OK and The Woodlands. I am beat and tired!!!

But, Master Professor Birch will not deniate any player their Pokemon that they deserve!!!
