Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Texas State Championship ~ March 19, 2011

SUnday mornign I was awoken by a knock at the door and served a summons. It was from pokemon international, Inc. It read "sic - to immidiately cease and desist using the words "6th" and "pokemon" in the same sentance". I will comply.

Well, atleast you can still claim your good looks, right?

O.K. then those three packs of Call of legends that you won that I paid three dollars total for . I gave them to my daughter to open and got nothing good. So there you are now accused of cheating. Oh yeah they were Call of legends so I guess everyone feels that way.
Thanks for buying her GS Cookies.

I enjoyed the in depth conversation about Lent.

Pokedads are bringing it. I couldn't believe it when I saw two Pokedads playing each other at the top table - your husband being one of them. We are becoming a force to be reckoned with within the POKEcommunity.
I must say we are bring it, its been an amazing run for me, top cut 3 of my last 5 tournaments one of them being the Oklahoma States and going 5-3 in Texas...And props to my nephew Justin going 4-2 with a new deck he has not really played.

I thought I noticed a little hop in your step. You are the Davy Crocket of the resistance. Billy K. is our Captain Whatever. Regionals is our Alamo. Down with Luxchomp. Vive La resitiance'

I thoroughly enjoyed the tournament. For those complaining about Judges, honestly, what did you expect? After the complications that happened in Oklahoma, everyone should have anticipated stricter judging, and a no-nonsense attitude. Problems with sleeves? You should have brought extra, plus they were giving out alternate sleeves. This is a bigger tournament, so things will be different. I thought Shane did a great job, along with all the other judges. Without them, we wouldn't have a Texas State Pokemon Championship, nor any tournaments at all.

Congrats to all the winners, especially Nikhel D!!! That little man is an awesome player.

I really enjoyed playing that day, much better than OK States for me. It was especially fun because no one took any of the matches too seriously. It was over all just a fun day with friends and loved one and I met a lot of neat people too. :)

@Oliver:

Trust me, I had judges on me 5 rounds out of 7. I was going to just drop, but I faced David in round 4? 5? One of them, and didn't want to ruin his record. Five of the rounds I was so ready to Throh a tantrum. Especially when I'm being false called, some Top Cut players they are. The ones I lost against to and hope I never see again made TC how about that for making you even more annoyed? x.X

Wow... Really bad Grammar here, but it's 1:30 and I'm tired. Deal with the Isshu.

A belated thank you to all of the players and parents that attended the "Texas State Championships". Thank you to my staff and judges for the job that you did and the support that you give to Pokemon.

If anyone lost something at this event, please contact me and I will get your items back to you.

Thanks, again.

44 Houston area players made the trip to Dallas and 44 players had a good time. I'd also like to say that it was fun working under Birch again, like the good ol' days. Looking forward to working with the Dallas crew again.

Time to ROCK Regionals.
