That's the top 2. My version of Palkia G was a little different cause I used Weavile G/Honchkrow G and Mesprits, Andy's build was more straight forward focusing on Palkia.

I'm gonna try to remember what else I played
Top 16 I played some guy using Kingdra/Abomasnow
Top 8 I played Tina using Machamp
Top 4 I played Eric (I think that's his name, not sure) using Kingdra
and Top 2 was me and Andy both playing different Palkia varients.

Basically, Andy won based off of skill. He was on top of his game, and just kinda won both games. I honestly didn't know how to win the mirror match, and I was WAY TOO exhausted at that point to put much thought into any of my playing, so I'm sure I made misplays left and right. So congratulations to him, he deserved it.

The tournament lasted FOREVER. My mom was so ticked off at me because my phone died and I didn't call her to update her past like 10:30. I was there until like 2:30 playing and didn't get home until like 2:45, only to get scolded by my mom who was up and waiting for me because she thought something had happened, even though she knew where I was and eventually called the store at like 2 AM and found out I was in the finals. She still hasn't congratulated me, but whatever. She even had the audacity to ask me if "it was worth it to go to the tournament" today. She's never acted like this so I don't know what her problem is, right now I'm just venting but I'll get over it and so will she.

Overall it was a a well run tournament, good turnout, good venue, it just lasted too long. But there really isn't anything anybody can do about that.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I have to give a shout out to my best friend Joel and his girlfriend Molly for supporting me at the tournament yesterday. They came to watch me play near the end, and I got to eat dinner with them. They have no relation to anything Pokemon, they just wanted to come and support me. Joel came with me in the morning and we went to Krispey Kremes (I dunno how you spell it) and then headed over to the tournament. He stayed for like an hour but had to leave cause his brother had to use the car. But then, him and his girlfriend surprised me and showed up around 730-8ish and stayed and chilled with me and watched me play until like 1030, when I told em it was gonna be a late night so they should leave. I love having such great friends! Oh and shout out to all my Pokemon friends too, I can't leave y'all out!

lol I think I may have fallen asleep multiple times during that last match. I seriously don't know how I lasted playing Pokemon for that long. Much less playing a deck that I'm still not very good with. Seriously, Palkia is so hard to play because it's so versatile and there are so many options on what you can do every turn. It's not my kind of deck but it works.

But, bro, you did pretty awesome yourself. You proved Gengar is still a force even with all those nasty G decks.

Overall, I think Team San Antonio did their fair share of showing up.

Kyle 3 starting hands with regirock gotta love it.
great games sir, I wasn't gonna waste ya time on my sucky hands.
<3 TINA

in all I had a good time except some call on my game vs ketter. eh but I understand a little I guess :/
it wasn't intentional.

yeah, im not gonna lie, I've never seen someone with Regirock in every opening hand.
I thought they were some good games regardless though. Good job on making it to top 8, and you played it out well, you at least kept me on my toes, and got me in that one game.
