so post you ideas about which card will make this format better!
here is my list

in no particular order.

1) Warp point

switches the heavy stage 2s, gets around baby wall.
i think this will be better than printing catcher, but i would love to play with catcher as well so.

2) Any Decent Draw supporter (TV reporter, Stevens)

the issue is that we are missing a good draw supporter at the moment. with a good tv reporter or stevens, it could be much better format

3) scott, castaway, traneivers.

Anything that can be used as the center of the supporter/trainer line.
it will be so nice not to rely on cleffa draws or oak draws.

4) Tools, stadiums, and more tools!

so far, there are no good stadium card for people to utilize,.
what happened to curse stone, crystal beach, and battle frontiers?
all rotated, thats why we need more stadiums.

this format also needs a good tool. aside from expert belt, there hasnt been a good tool for a while now.
of course the energy gain, but that was exclusive for SPs only. its time we see a decent tool.

5) search pokemons

i think we need more ability that allows pokemon to grab things from the deck.
something like, pigeot FRLG, nidoqueen DF, fearow CG.
what do we have right now?
we have sunflora :nonono:

anything you guys disagree with or anything that we might need that i missed?

There's Evolite coming out in the next Japanese set.

Also, there is Rocky Helmet (rugged helmet?) coming out. They were advertising it alongside the new 'Restored Pokemon' mechanic.

Adore this format.

Catcher and Eviolite are coming.

Soon is the time of Zekrom EX.

Beware Zekrom. 130hp Donphan which deals 120 on turn 1.
Beware.

Catcher > Warp Point, though Warp Point will always have its use.

Would be great to see playable Stadiums again, the last format was a joke when it came to Stadium usage; then again, I guess that in itself was a change of pace from the "lol counter stadium" mindset before that.

I miss the EX series, was the best set of cards ever. Especially TRR, UF and CG.

What we need back is Warp Energy, so much nasty lock stuff and no way out :/
I also want bebe/celio back, elm is just bad. And some way to discard (felicitas?) and a counter to GoW (spiritomb) would be appreciated

1) Reversal, Switch, and Circulator.

2) Juniper, PONT, and CC.

3) We haven't had that since those cards were legal. Cyrus was a terrible card for the format.

4) Ya got me there.

5) Ninetales, Magnezone, and Sunflora.

At this moment, no trainers or supporters are over powered. I swear, it seems like people wanna be spoon fed their setup.

Wouldn't mind me some Warp Point though

5) Ninetales, Magnezone, and Sunflora.

1) None of those cards do the same thing as Warp Point, you would need to have both Circulator and Switch to achieve the same effect.

2) I think he meant straight draw card, which Juniper is. Just like TV Reporter and Steven's Advice have a drawback so does Juniper. So your right on that one. PONT and CC are more of refresh your hand than straight draw cards.

3) True

4) Agreed

5) I think he meant Pokemon that specifically search out Pokemon. Like Nidoqueen D, Fearow D among others. Sunflora is the only one that does that but only for Grass Pokemon. Ninetales and Magnezone are straight drawing engines like Energy Draw Delcatty and Claydol.

My opinion on the first point: they totally should not reprint Gust of Wind. (I know, no point whinging about it since it's coming anyway.) It's always been a game-changer with no down-side and very difficult to play around, especially for decks that rely on combos. I would have readily welcomed Double Gust being remade as a slightly more-powerful partner to Warp Point though. It's more of a strategic card than Catcher/Gust of Wind.

2) Engineer's Adjustments is a good draw supporter, and Professor Juniper has been mentioned. Cheren is coming too, which is superior to TV Reporter.

3) I personally don't like "trainer engines." I'll use them, but I prefer a bunch of stand-alone supporters that don't rely on each other much, just because it's more fair to those who don't have full access to the central card of the engine, which always gets expensive to those who are late to the party. Just my feelings on that.

4) I'm ambivalent toward stadiums. There have been times when they were really big and times when they weren't. In this case I've just gone with the flow. Do we need more than Indigo Plateau, Burned Tower, Ruins of Alph and Lost World? But I'll agree with you on the tools. Why do I feel differently about tools and stadiums? I'm not sure.

5) Again, I'm ambivalent toward search Pokemon. On one hand, they make combo decks less luck-based, but on the other hand, combo decks are generally a high-risk, high-reward design. Why take the risk out?

I want a way to search basic energy from my deck that isn't energy search.

Something like roseanne's.

Well barring special energy exchanger is worse than energy search. I think he means something that could search multiple energy/have a second effect. I totally agree that having to topdeck energy sucks.

I miss Crobat G; I hated it in donk decks but it was a lot more fun to use than PlusPower. And Kingdra Prime is a stage 2 :/
