Granddaddy, I'm loving these updates, but could you format your posts a little better? These ellipses are killing me/making it very hard to tell who's doing what, lol.

Kennesaw today @ Stevi B's Pizza (5 bucks all day eats FTW!) Only 105 pokemon players showed up to swamp the bldg. Around 60 MAs, 19 JRs and 26 or so SRs. 5 rds each for the young'uns and 6 rds for the MAs.

Lots of Gengar in top 8...at least 4 decks. Had a blast. Went 4-2, whiffed top cut by a few due to oppo %. My lil one went 3-2 in JRs and got 5th. My oldest went 3-3 in MAs. Fun was had by all. Top eight was finishing up just after we left. Left the bldg at 8 ish.

Woo, made top 4, lost to Steve S. 5-3 for the day, not bad I suppose. Not sure who won top 2, or even if they stayed to play it out in the restaurant. See you guys in about 12 hours. :)

Who was the other person in T2?

Drew

Edit - Nevermind, Steve S. won and supposely 2nd place was Tyranitar. I know both Christian and Dylan lost in top cut to it as both I believe were playing Gengar, but I am not sure how accurate all that info is as I am a second hand source.

Chattanooga loved the Marathon!

There is nothing more exciting than surprise judging! Except maybe knowing that Pokémon is growing all around us.

See you guys soon, and I know I said it a lot this week, but I really appreciate all the hard work you put into these tournaments and Pokémon in general. It movitivates me to do more.

Thanks for a great series of events. Heading home now after playing in 6 straight. It was great to meet some good people from all around the country. Playing with these guys for 6 straight days allows you to get to know someone much better....even if they kicking your butt.

Gengar in now BDIF by the way......or top two. We saw some interesting things this week. Of course the new set will bring more changes before States though.

Carson responded to all the Gengars by playing Tyranitar/Amphy and going to Top 2 with Steve playing Sableye/Honchcrow donk. Next day there were at least three more TTar decks in the field. Too funny.

The next day I looked over the senior field and I see RayBees, GeChamp, TTar/Amphy and Sableye/Crow at half the tables. All Florida decks for the most part.

Everyone should consider making this Marathon one of the family vacations. Our family now considers this Tradition.

Thanks Gary, Greg, Tymon...and Ken. Now get some well deserved sleep!!!
Jim
