What bugs me about Obama is that he loves to talk about how women should have a choice. What he doesn't realize is that the 'choice' starts well before a women wants to abort her baby.

Metatron: God? Lonely. But funny. He's got a great sense of humor. Take sex for example. There's nothing funnier than the ridiculous faces you people make mid-coitus.
Bethany: Sex is a joke in heaven?
Metatron: The way I understand it, it's mostly a joke down here, too.

Unfortunately, this is an absolute truth, at least in America...

Nuclear power isn't actualy very risky at all, and it's no were near as bad as it's make out to be.

I heard that now a majority of Germans in Germany want Nuclear Power based on the fact that Oil and Gas are more expensive than the alternatives. If Germany wants Nuclear Power than I think we should.:thumb:

Sad to say this but alot of people I know have said that they are voting for because of that. Just wikipedia Russia and look what happened to them after they want along with using Communism. In theory it is really effective and actually works, but only works in very low numbers.

You're ignorant if you think Obama is a communism or wants to turn the country communist. Your posts in this thread have been absolutely ridiculous. I hope you're not eligible to vote.

McCain came out strong and tried to fight, but he doesn't speak as well as Obama, doesn't defend his points as well, doesn't explain his logic, sidetracks the questions more, and failed to give a real argument against Obama. Every lie and failed, contextless assertion that McCain made was instantly showed to be more mudslinging in McCain's last attempt to win. However, he did a better job, IMO, than he did in the other events, and this debate was a lot more illuminating and pressing. A very cool debate.

I still think Obama is our next president!

Yeah drmario, and that's exactly what I want. It's the middle class that is suffering, and we need to help them. I think people making a quarter-million dollars or more will be able to make through fine.

Look at the past where President Herbert Hoover was for protecting the wealthy and hoped for the wealth to trickle down... needless to say that failed. But when Franklin Roosevelt came in and helped those in need and created new programs and jobs, things started heading in the right direction. We need to learn from history and use it effectively.
Have you studied economics? Most of FDR's New Deal programs, while some being beneficial such as FDIC, made the Depression even LONGER than it should have be. Hebert Hoover had his own flaws with economics but saying FDR made things "heading in the right direction" is an understatement. At least, Hoover adhered to the capitalist system (too strongly which was his downfall among other stupid partisan things he had done.)

Does anyone even care that Social Security is now putting a huge strain on the national debt!?

Well, McCain often talks about nuclear power, and in this debate I believe he said he wants to see 43 new nuclear power plants which I find to be very risky and not the way to energy independence. We need to find new sources of energy, and that is something John McCain has voted against time after time.
Anyone still believing Nuclear Power is still dangerous is obviously still living in the Cold War times. We are not Soviets, building hasty power stations neglecting safety protocols.

Nuclear Power, among other renewable sources, are the way to go for energy independence. I would strongly urge Obama to move from his "consideration" stance on it to pro.

What bugs me about Obama is that he loves to talk about how women should have a choice. What he doesn't realize is that the 'choice' starts well before a women wants to abort her baby.
Hello, raep.

Okay, I've been holding off stuff I have heard, stuff I have studied for a long time.

The business tax Obama is raising:
From the many discussions I have listened to, from what I can see is that he is raising the current Business tax 18& from what it is now. What is it now? 39%. He is going to raise the business tax to 56%. Which comes down to 57 dollars that businesses are giving to the government per every 100 dollars they make. Remember, if you make $250,000 per year, you now make $107,500. Hmm??? Where is all of that money going? Well if Obama is elected it is probably going to welfare, food stamps, and other blah blah government spending.

Now on to that...
Spreading the wealth is a term meaning, I'm going to watch Robin Hood three times and do what I see. I'm "stealing" from the wealthy and giving it to the poor. Our founding fathers wanted this country to be formed on Capitolism, which is basically working for what you have. "Working for what you have" in other words is "FAIR". Ryan, if you made $250,000 dollars a year would you want to give your hard earned dollars to someone of poor status who works almost none at all? Would you want to be equal status as someone of poor status.

Jobs....
98% of small businesses make less than a quarter million dollars is a very, very wrong. Any business with less than 500 employees is a small business. 50% of empolyees in the US work in a small business. 99.7% of the US Empolyers are of small businesses. If the tax is raised, some of them go out of business. More jobs are lost. Now we don't only have illegal immargrants stealing the jobs, we now have unemployeed small business employees taking our jobs. Which lowers out employment rate.

Now on to Attacks to the opposing candidate by supporters....
Sure, at McCain rallies, supporters yelled "Terrorist" and "Kill Him". But McCain told them that it wasn't neccesary to call him that. When some lady said that he was an "Arab", McCain stopped her from speaking and told her that Obama is a decent man. Oh, I also want to know what Obama said to his supporters that wore their "Anti-Palin" shirts. Exactly, Nothing.

Now on to Bill Ayers....
Obama didn't answer anything about Bill Ayers. Yeah, he was 8 years old when the bombings happened, but that isn't what the issue is about him. The thing is that he didn't tell us anything. "He's just a guy in my neighborhood." I love how Obama's story has changed from I don't know him to I was doing political stuff with him to yes I do know him.

My favorite, ACORN....
Acorn is a giant problem, they are a government program. He isn't saying anything bad about them. It seems to me that ACORN might even decide the election's winner. Why is this? Why can someone vote 73 times? Mickey Mouse? Some guy's cat? Now wait, can't he say anything bad about him? Answer that.

Fuel.....
Obama supports drilling and aquiring our oil from foriegn areas overseas. We know this. McCain wants us to switch to natural gas, drilling off the coast of the United States. That will open more jobs. Which will be the opposite of what Obama will do.

Abortion....
I only believe in Abortion in the issue of **** and the mother's health. The mother's health being that if she has a high chance of dying then she shouldn't have the baby. **** is something that is obvious. Obama supporters abortion, but that will make it useful for the mothers to use it as a birth control option. What's wrong with that? Most times where abortion is going to take place is becase of accidental pregnancy. Go by the quote, "No love without a glove." Wear a condom!!!

Experience....
Obama can't seriously say that he has experience if he has less than Sarah Palin? Sarah has actaully done something in her state. She isn't very accepted because she got some of the people raising gas prices for more profit and got rid of them. Obama voted for a few things that were good, but most of them, nothing that anyone likes. Joe Biden is very experienced and knows the issues and I respect him. John McCain is experienced, in the military knowledge and the country's issues. Obama and Sarah Palin are well meh? but Obama loses.

Thank You.

The reason why CNN, ABC, NBC and all have the polls twards Obama are because they are biased against the conservatives. The reason that McCain has the polls on Fox is because it is "Fair and Balanced".

I don't think you understand, what I mean by that is that since it is fair, means the conseratives are going to that station instead of watching the others.

Holy crap you types that with a straight face....

Faux News is the most bais POS I have ever seen in my life. Seriously, fair and balanced? Compared to what, a scale with Rosie O'Donald on one end and an Tabby Cat on the other?

They interview both demorcrats and republicans, and they fight the issues of both McCain and Obama. They attack both McCain and Obama. They side with both McCain and Obama. On the last two debates, no matter who they wanted to win the debate, they told that Obama won. They told what McCain should do to catch up and what Obama should do to stay ahead.

After reading your above post I wasn't shocked to hear this from you.

For the most part, Rew, I generally agree with you mostly on economic policies. However, I would like to point out a few things.

Fuel.....
Obama supports drilling and aquiring our oil from foriegn areas overseas. We know this. McCain wants us to switch to natural gas, drilling off the coast of the United States. That will open more jobs. Which will be the opposite of what Obama will do.
Yeah, because opening up more industries in renewable resources is not making any jobs... Oh, and Obama supports equaling the trade playing field by reviewing trade agreements as well so we do not lose our jobs to the cheap labor in Mexico and China. The opposite of what McCain will do.

Why not just drain the rest of the world's oil and hoard the rest on our soil to ourselves?

Abortion....
I only believe in Abortion in the issue of **** and the mother's health. The mother's health being that if she has a high chance of dying then she shouldn't have the baby. **** is something that is obvious. Yeah, because human health is so linear it is easy to predict if the baby will or will not endanger the women's life. -_-

Experience....
Obama can't seriously say that he has experience if he has less than Sarah Palin? Sarah has actaully done something in her state. She isn't very accepted because she got some of the people raising gas prices for more profit and got rid of them. 6 years as mayor + 2 years as governor vs 7 years in state senate + 4 years as senator
I could get in deeper for this but so far, I have seen Obama as the one with more experience over Palin. Both are still relatively inexperienced but at least Obama seems like a person not prone to doing rash things unlike McCain. His choice of Biden, for example, is a safe choice while Palin and her heavy conservative rhetoric seems to be doing more harm than good to the ticket, especially courting independent voters and emphasizing McCain's bipartisanship efforts.

It is almost a general fact that conservatives watch Fox News. Please use a source that is not biased

If you have more drilling, then we need more people to do the drilling. I'm sure people work in the oil business.

Now, we can predict what is going to happen to the mother, because of our medical advances, we are pretty accurate on our guessing, I'm sure we could figure things like that out.

6 Years of Mayor+2 Years on Oil and Gas Conservaton Commision+2 Years Governor
4 Years State Senete+3 Years US Senate

Now what I've seen from Fox, I'm not refering to them as to who won, I'm refering to them as the first poll to be posted. Okay, I've only seen two shows on Fox: Bill O'Rielly and Greta V. (something). I haven't seen shows on CBS and NBC that aren't biased. Bill O'Rielly is an independent, meaning he isn't leaning twards Obama or McCain. Maybe I haven't seen the biased things, I'm sorry that I said they are fair, but the things I have seen are.
