Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Third Annual Nelson Water Gym!

You can use Vaporeon * without an Eevee if you have one.

What about Chinchou? Its a water type but an Electric card.....

Remember crystal shards to take out Salamence EX d

If the card is blue and has the :water: symbol in the upper right corner you can use it.

FYI: Pool temperature is 74 degrees F.

ah, I wanna go to the Nelson Water Gym tournament too! It sounds like you'll have a blast. But it's a tiny bit too far for me that day. Hey, why not next year meet at the Columbia River?

Are we gonna swim in Gatorade water again?

It is blue, but cloudy. I don't know why. I added a little extra chlorine last night, just for you.

Oh, and with the sun out, the solar cover on and the pump off, the tempature at the surface is a blamy 87 degrees.

Ilikegengar - I'd love to have a party along the Columbia. Does anyone have a ski boat? I haven't been water skiing in years, but would love to do it again.

And I've added a photo of the trophies on the Tournaments page of nwpokemon.com

Thank you David. I really appreciate that you added the extra chlorine. =D It is nice that the pool water will be at 87 degrees.

River's too cold...pool water seems to be at a great temp...now, the weather just needs to stay like it is today.

nah, no ski boat here, but I do have an inflatable rubber raft, two oars and a snowboard. . .. . . .

Can't wait for the Water Gym

I'm sitting in class right now:nonono:...want to jump out a window:rolleyes:...must survive and finish final exam . See everyone later:thumb:...hopefully the sun will have appeared by then:cool:.

Thank-you David and Nikki

The Anderson's had a blast today.. all 3 of us. Thank-you so very much for the wonderful day today.
The Water gym is an absolutely fantastic idea.

Ross: The Truth Is Out There!!!!!!!

Jeremy: Your welcome and felt privileged to represent you in Korea! Poisin IS the tech for Bluesnake, though Matt teched against me because I told him about it and he would assume that the other players would be playing it. =/

I had a lot of fun and it was a very enjoyable tournament and that me and Chris C. were the two biggest whiners, noted by Niki, playing in the finals. =D Thank you David and Niki for always running a great tournament.

I assumed someone had some type of first turn status effect deck planned so they could have a shot at beating me. It really had nothing to do with your tentacool so much as me going through the spoiler and figuring some idiot out there would run something like tentacool or goldeen. My assumptions were right, I saw a bunch of people trying to first turn jynx. Blame clanton for not running enough actual water energies to supplement his wps, or not running the single castaway searched lum berry to heal yourself afterward.

So much for breaking the format, 5th place missing cut again...

Someone mentioned being scarred for life....

We had an absolute blast! Smartest thing we did was take over that outside table... it was just perfect. Our playing, on the other hand, well, not so much. But it sure was fun! See you in Hawaii!:thumb:

I want to thank everyone for coming! We had 40 registered players, plus additional family members and staff for a full house (and pool)!

We raised $243 for the Cason Terjeson Memorial Scholarship fund! Thanks again for your donations.

Mark your calendars now: 4th Annual Water Gym, Saturday, July 26, 2008. 2:30PM - Midnight. Pool party and potluck at 2:30, tournament starts at 5. The format is still to be determined, but it will involve only water Pokemon. Ideas are welcome!
:water:
