Tiers?

I agree with Mike, AmphyTar is just ugh, its not like Blaze. Blaze should be in Tier 1.

What metagame is represented here? Only american.
You really can't say "wtf blaze sucks cuz it loses to something", everything loses to something.
If I were to set up tiers depending on my local metagame, it would be like this;

Tier 1
Dark Draggy
Blaziken

Tier 2
Zapdos
Gardevoir
Blastoise
Walrein

Tier 3
Swampert
Dark Crobat/Bellossom
Vileplume EX

See? I think most of you ppl would laugh at a tier list like this, but noone plays T-Tar or Dark Amphy or Slaking over here. We have players who play GardeByss, and they are top players even without Gex's Boost Energy.
I place Zapdos tier 2, because I've seen lots of games between Draggy and Zapdos, and Draggy can get faster setups than Zapdos. Actually.

I think they mean an overall metagame in USA, but that could very well include the metagame elsewhere if it's not groundbreaking different from USA... Meaning ppl only play decks from the past, or wierd constructions that's nobody really understands.

Some decks are played almost everywhere b/c they have reached a certain level of regocnition, like blaziken and team magma. Others again b/c they are so obvious, like Monarchy. Some decks remain untested if the local environment is isolated from say a board like this, so in such places the metagame cannot be be compared.

I think Norway, where we live Rubyloc, semi-resembles USA... We're maybe just a bit slower, but in time we do try out almost all the decks that americans label tier 1 (or tier 2). Just to give an example.... Right now there might be someone back 'ome building a Monarchy deck thinking they are up to date... Ouch...
